Hi everyone, just a quick update. Not good news for us
We got 13 eggs, but only 2 were inseminated, and I don't know if those 2 are going to make it for transfer. Hopeless...
I am supposed to have a 5dt, FS said they are looking good at the moment, but today is only 1 day after egg pick up. I dont know if "they are looking good" means anything at all at this stage. She said l could have a 3dt, or just wait until day 5 to see if they make it... don't know what to do... I know is our decision at the end of the day, but what do u guys think about 3dt. Mt transfers have always been 5dt.

Juniper could I please be added back I have decided to transfer 1 in my oct cycle which will be the beginning of November for transfer then save the last one for
a June next year cycle. Thanks

CatyO, sorry to hear the fertilisation didn't go well. Was that with ICSI? Did your FS have any suggestion for what she thinks went wrong? If I only had 2 embies, I'd want to do the earlier transfer. DD is from a 2dt.

Juniper, it wasnt with ICSI. RE was very surprised and dissapointed that we got 13 eggs, 9 of them looked good and were matured, but somehow only 2 inseminated. She said those 2 embryos are looking good, but l guess 1 day after insemination we cant really say if they look good? She suggested to transfer both on day 3, otherwise wait and see until saturday. And if it doesnt work, she suggested ICSI for next IVF. DH and l decided to do transfer on thursday, if the embryos are still looking good. FX

Sorry you didn't get many embies, CatyO. I would be wanting a day 3 tf in that situation too. As my FS said when we got DS after only 3 eggs were collected, it only takes 1!

Hi girls, just a quick question. I didn't stop much after egg collection, this time, only that afternoon, yesterday it stopped in the morning, then this morning when I wiped it started again. It is like pinkish cervical mucus. Has anyone of you had this? I will have my transfer tomorrow 3:30pm. Will this delay my transfer, or could it affect implantation? Im trying to contact the nurses, but Im sick of waiting on the line...
