So I have a bit of an odd question. Do any of you find that GonalF has made AF disappear? First injection was yesterday CD4 and today AF seems to be completely gone. I have used GonalF 3 times now and its never done this to me. Is there anything wrong with only having AF for 4 days? It has never been that short for me.

N2L, you and me both, babe... No egg in sight here either...

Andie, sorry to hear that. I had a similar thing happen last cycle - AF showed up early so my lap was CD4 instead of 12dpo. I hope this is but a brief pause before your BFP.

Mrs Mac, I don't recall that happening with gonal-f, but that's not to say it couldn't. Was there anything last cycle that might explain it? I think AF may have only been 4 days for me this cycle if I hadn't had the lap CD4. I'd had 3 days of super heavy bleeding but CD4 was almost non-existent (just slightly more than spotting), so I guess most of it had come out during the heavy stage?

Afm, I'm getting very frustrated with all these -opk -> 17 and counting...

decisions... should i do a stim or thaw this cycle?! spoke with clinic and they have ok'd both options. they will just treat me as if i have elevated nk cells until my results come back next week. i have 2 frozen embryo's atm but i would like to get a stim in before the end of the year, maybe even 2. i am all for thinking positively (sometimes...) but realistically i think i will need more than the 2 frozen embryos i have to get me pregnant. i think i am feeling like i need to squirrel away some nuts at this stage... and i would like to take advantage of the biopsy (sometimes it can make you more fertile, like vic's pipelle) with a fresh transfer... any opinions?

Bummer about AF arriving early Andie, same thing happened to me. About ur decision on weather to do a stim or FET I couldn't really say I'm sorry coz I've never had any to do a FET...but i read somewhere that the advantages of having the biopsy can last a couple of months or so. Decisions decisions!

MrsMac the same thing happened to me both times mine only went for three days & I thought something had gone wrong but the rest of my cycle was fine.

Umm this might be a silly question but what is OPK's?
AFM - still waiting for AF, all the symptoms but no AF! Grrr

Andie, they're both valid options. Some people like to use their frosties ASAP rather than pay storage. Others like to do as many fresh cycles as possible to "bank" their frosties. If you get a BFP from a fresh cycle then when you start TTC again you're using 33-year-old eggs instead of whatever age you are when you start again. I'd probably lean towards the fresh cycle unless I felt like I needed a break from the stims (in which case I'd do a natural FET).

J.Bear, as Andie said, OPK = ovulation prediction kit. They are like HPTs except they detect the LH surge in your urine (instead of hcg) to help predict when you're about to O. Typically you'll get a +opk about 24 hours before O (usually within 12-36 hours).

Good luck Emma. I too know the joys of having a stoopid body.

AFM - I am still waiting for AF. Maybe tomorrow, although it doesn't feel like it. Will have to see i guess. If nothing by monday I have to have another BT and maybe start provera to bring it on. I spoke to my clinic yesterday and they said my FS is happy for me to try a natural thaw for my FET. I have not done that before, but since I seem to be ovulating on my own, albeit all over the place, I really want to try as they said they have more success with natural thaws. Also I have to have my biopsy done on CD5 this time, so I have made a tentative booking for next wednesday if AF comes tomorrow. Weird as last time I had it done on CD7 of a stim, and since my cycles seem to be 33 days, you would think they would hold off a bit. Maybe because its an FET??? I have been taking my CoQ10 in case we need to do another stim in October. I have DH on stuff too

Does anyone have an opinion on taking Vitex to make me regular for next cycle?

Seems like we are all waiting at the moment. Waiting for AF and waiting to O. *sigh* Stoopid waiting!!!

    Emma, FX for you.

Vic, I hope AF shows up without the need for provera. I've taken vitex (while TTC#1) but didn't like the s/e. It didn't make a noticeable difference to my cycle as I'm normally very regular (maybe I should try it now?). With regard to the natural FET, you could take clomid or similar to help O along. I was offered that for the natural FET we did because we were squeezing it in just before Christmas, but I declined and thankfully ended up Oing in time to do the FET before the Christmas shut-down.

N2L, still waiting? What day did you O last cycle?

vic - cant help with vitex, havent used it myself. natural thaw sounds good, hope your af decides to show up at a reasonable time.

emma - hope your BT went well today.

    hi everyone else.

afm - decided to do a stim cycle, taking elonva tomorrow (juniper - can you put me as cd3 as of tomorrow, please?). another question: had FSH BT today, came back at 10.something - quick googling says this is the higher end of normal? borderline even? do you ladies know what your fsh is? its odd, bc my amh is slightly high, just above normal range. over the past 5+ years of BT's no one has ever mentioned FSH levels being at the higher end.
