Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception August/September 2012

ok, so 10 fertalised, 8 still going at day 2. growing them all to day 5, so expecting to lose half by then. i will be happy if i get 4.

vic - last time we split them & did Ivf & ICSI. 2/6 fertalised using Ivf, 5/5 fertalised using ICSI. although we dont have a sperm issue, we seem to get better results with ICSI, which to me suggests maybe there is a sperm issue... but we have certainly had our fair share of sperm analysis done and all good apparently. goodluck for monday, I hope ovulation is close by.

blossom - sounds good, fingers crossed for epu monday... maybe an extra egg or two might pop up over the next couple of days. xx

mrs mac - goodluck on saturday!

myturn - thinking of you. xx

miss b - sorry .. no links but if you google embryoglue it comes up. I know some clinics have "rules" in regards to who and what stage you are at with your treatment before you can use it. My clinic offers it at any stage (at $500!) but doesn't allow it with assisted hatching.

Sorry, just a quick one (and sorry it's so late in the day), but just home from Target and they have 40% off Swisse vitamins today only. I snagged the last two bottles of CoQ10 from the Chermside store... I know I can get others cheaper onine, but at least I know this brand (unlike the online ones).

Good deal Juniper! I have been buying mine online - the stronger ubiquonol formulation. I use iherb. The brand is Healthy Origins. It's a bit pricey though

I'm currently taking some I get from my acu (CoQ10 with alpha lipoic acid), but they're $40 for 30 tablets, so I was thinking I might take the Swisse ones with them to bump up the dose to 600mg.

Andie- those numbers sound really good. I hope you end up pleasantly with you day 5 numbers.

J.bear- how exciting, try not to worry yourself being nervous, it will be over before you know it.

AFM- I'm excited or Saturday but had a friend ask the question today "when are you having kids?" and it made me start thinking how when we started seeing our FS we were sure we would end up pregenant in no time, and even after our first egg Retreval I was so positive that it would work. With no physical problems with me or DH and great looking embryos, I was sure we would be pregenant in no time, but today I actualy thought for the first time it
may never happen. I feel like if there is nothing to fix how is doing the same thing over and over going to help? Sorry for putting a damper on things, just thinking out loud and feeling very fed up.

Happy B'day for tomorrow Emma & Joe & GL tomorrow Joe will be checking in on you tomorrow

MrsMac I know what you mean, it can feel like it will never happen and that thought alone is crushing but all you can do is try. Those awful thoughts cross my mind but i know i have to try to shift my thought to the here and now and be optimistic. I really hope that your dream does come true very very soon

Thanks ladies, feeling much better today. I think the meds may be stuffing me around. Started to cry and the radio this morning and cried last night at a phone bill LOL. I only have to work half a day today so I'm super excited, DH is meeting me after work so we can spend the afternoon together in this wonderful Sydney weather.
