I hope it sorts itself out Vic. Bodies can be so frustrating at times If only they did what they were meant to do when they were meant to do it....*sigh*

Speaking of which, as you all know I got a positive opk and some ewcm yesterday. DTD last night like a good LTTTCer. Nothing unusual there... Then today at lunchtime I did a pee, wiped and had copious ewcm along with a small bit of bloody mucus. Am I right in assuming O has already happened??? (because of the blood). I thought the EWCM dried up pretty quickly Just curious. Will hit the work bench tonight again regardless.

    Thanks!

N2l I remember asking my doc a few yrs ago about some similar small bits of blood around O time and he said it can happen, no reason really for it but he never said if it meant it was before or after it.
If you dtd last night and it is cause O has happened then hopefully it means you caught that little eggie :-)

Just got the call. My prog is now 8 down from 25, 11 days ago, so it should be here any day now. E2 is 274. So if it comes on the weekend it will be 6 weeks Monday since my d&c which sounds about right. *sigh* Then I have to wait for myself to ovulate hopefully in time for me to do an FET in September so I can do a stim in October if need be. I have 2 weeks holidays in October and while its flexible a week either side if its running into November it could be an issue. I am really tempted to try Vitex to help with ovulation. So basically I am waiting for AF, then waiting to ovulate on my own then waiting in the TWW. UGH!!!

Wow I have a lot to catchup on. Hopefully I can make it to my computer tonight to play catch up. It has been a crazy busy cycle and is not getting any slower. Had my first BT yesterday and everything was good, I go for an US tomorrow to check my lining, it feels so quick because last FET I had like 3 BT before I even looked close to triggering where as this time the higher dose of Gonal-f seems to have done the trick. So FX I get to trigger by the end of the week and then transfer will be next week. I am feeling much more positive this cycle and for no good reason but
Hope I can stay this way. XOXO.

n2l - i would prob keep hitting the workbench for the next couple of days. i was under the impression that as long as the ewcm is around, you are in your fertile window. im sure you're all over it anyway...

vic - my cycle took 6 weeks to come back after d&c (missed miscarriage), so i would say you are on track too. im glad your bt showed that af is on the way, gives you some peace of mind to know that things are happening? just not as quickly as you would like... xx

mrs mac - goodluck, sounds like things are going according to plan for you - i think you're in the minority there?!

    hi everyone else.

afm - scan today, there's a few follicles in there, didnt ask too many questions as trying not to obsess this time around. FS was happy with progress, but will re-scan on friday. started orgalutran today, and will start puregon tomorrow to top up on the elonva. so if things go ok, i guess i will have epu next week some time... i feel a little like mrs mac in that this stim seems to be steam-rolling ahead. im not complaining though, especially if i manage to get a few good eggs.

Mrs Mac and Andie, good to hear your cycles are going well!

Afm, I'm just going to stick my head in the sand for a day or two until I can (hopefully) confirm O with some nice high temps. Our timing isn't so great though. We DTD on the day of the +opk, but not since (ie not O day). DH was a complete **** today, so nothing today either. If I'm right, I should have O'd same day as N2L.

Ah, fiddlesticks!! Today's temp was lower than yesterday's! Both were still in my normal pre-O range, but at the upper end of it (and slightly higher than any other temp in the last fortnight). I was hoping the lap might have sorted out the "slow rise" BS that's been going on since the d&c. Takes me a week to confirm O these days...

I don't temp Juniper. I just assume I have ovulated after getting a positive opk and a day or so of ewcm.

N2L, yeah, I'll probably end up still putting O day as Monday, I just like confirmation. When the signs don't align I can't help but have some doubt about them. I was just hoping today's would be a nice high one since yesterday's was sort of halfway there... Oh well, if this is another BFN then at least next cycle will be monitored by the FS (natural FET). I'll just do my normal at home monitoring too and see how they line up. That should help me better interpret the home stuff in later cycles.

*edit* Also, I only had the tiniest bit of EWCM this cycle, so it has been very atypical. Sorry if this is TMI, but I debated whether to even mark it on the chart because it was literally one strand of it and nothing more.

Ah men, why do they get like that, especially around O?

Juniper, I don't usually mark it as the cm for the day when it is only a tiny bit of ewcm, but I make a note in the notes section just in case.

N2L I hope the tww goes quickly and easily for you.

I had a few stressful moments today, my boss called and asked if I would go to China for a week to run some training, right in the middle of our first IVF cycle (he doesn't know what We are doing, just that I am having a "medical procedure" during my holidays in October. Yet again it looked like a choice between career and family. Fortunately, I called the FS and found out my dates for BT and as lOng as I am able to cut a few days off the end of the trip it could be perfct timing. My boss agreed, happily, to send me just for the three days instead of 7. I am determined to have it all. DH is stoked coz it means I'll be away for the injections and he won't have to do any.

Sadly I also learned my uncle passed away last night. I'm heading home for a nice glass of wine while I can have it.

Miloro - Sorry also to hear of your uncle passing. And China does sound fun!

Juniper - I have never temped, so cant offer any advice, but it will be good to have them track you and see how you line up.

N2L - Thanks for the heads up on the Coq10. I got more today.

Hi Mrs Mac & Andie - Hope your both going ok in your cycles. Cant wait to hear numbers next week x

AFM - We had our FS appointment today. He came to Lincoln which was nice. We spoke about doing another stim cycle and he says we can go ahead, but was saying that realistically we have a 20% chance of getting a baby out of all of this. Time is not my friend. I agree. Unfortunately. I bought up Elonva which he promptly poo pood it. He said that our issue is chromosonal and it wouldn't help that. I also asked about ICSI and again he poo pood it. And after hearing him say its better to do what we can naturally we agreed. After saying our chances are slim, he then went on to say had we thought about switching clinics. He works out of both clinics. The new one he is suggesting is private and i dont have private health, but he said that they are subsiding some patients and although we would be out of pocket a bit more than our current clinic, he says that the new clinic is having great result and better results than our current clinic, and has a lot better lab facilities. He said that there is no guarantee but thinks it would be worth a try. Is he just after more of our money??? He said that he could organise our records to go to the new one, so at least it would not be a restart. I really love the nurses at our clinic and not too sure how I feel about switching. Has anyone changed and been better off?

Hi to everyone else. MissB, myturn (who I know is quietly stalking) me4ever, J Bear.

Vic - Hmmm that's a bit weird, him working for both clinics and saying one clinic is better than the other?! It sucks when you have to make a decision like this as who knows if it will help. I think I'd stay with last clinic if you like the nurses, you never know what you'd get with the new one. And you did get pregnant last time, so maybe your body is ready for it and it would be possible to get pregnant again?! Good luck with the decision. Hugs as well, and no AF yet??

Miloro - welcome and sorry about your uncle's passing..

Mrs Mac - how is it going? Hope all will go well and you'll get your BFP in September!

    Hi to everyone else!
