LittleMiss - God you made me laugh going to the door to greet your in-laws with a needle hanging out your stomach! I hope they knew about IVF beforehand or they might think you're a druggie Great results, too!
Emerald star - please add me to your list - my BT is 7th Dec
Leabie - sorry you are out of the running, take care hun.
Loops - I didn't read your message in time and I did POAS today ha ha. I'm so bad.
Anyway girls - now I'm freaking out because it was a strong positive. I can't believe it though, like I honestly just don't think it's real. It's going to be an even longer wait until Monday now. The reason I POAS was that I didn't think it would be positive, so I thought well at least if it's a BFN then I'm more prepared for Monday. But, as with every other time I have POAS, it has made things more difficult. Argh.
Leabie - so sorry hun, I have gone through quiet a few of those BFN's and it doesn't get any easier...hang in there...and have hope that the next one might be the one!
Mrs P - Keeping everything crossed that this is the one...hopefully you can be the first for our December....can't wait till the 7th...GL
Terry - what are you holding out on us??? hopefully its a BFP!!

Hi Mrs P - I posted you in a different forum, but that's a very positive sign for it to show so quickly. God, not long to go now. Test on Monday; how exciting. Good luck, and can't wait to hear ...
Mrs P - OMG how exciting, I have my fingers, toes, & arms crossed for you. I've also got my legs crossed for you but only until tomorrow when I go in for my transfer!!!!
Thanks Brunette and Emerald star - I bought more tests today (different brands) and POAS again twice ha ha, two more positives. So still looking hopeful. But unfortunately I know that this is just the first hurdle - getting pregnant - and the next would be staying pregnant.
Littlemissmoo - thanks hun - you make sure you uncross tomorrow and GL with transfer!!
sorry I have been MIA - I don't get to the boards for a while, so don't be surprised if I am often "quiet".
So many posts to catch up on....
Good luck to Brunette, Emerald Star, and Nix76 in your 2WW.
Leabie, sorry that horrid cow AF turned up for another visit. We need to ban AF!
littlemissmoo - sorry, but I too found that image quite amusing!! Hope all was OK, and that your inlaws didn't think you were a druggie, or worse - pass out on the front porch!
Mrs P - sounds promising! I'm keeping everything crossed for you.
AFM - CD5. Clomid today. just waiting for the shag-fest to begin (usually around day 10 for me). I've been feeling unwell the last couple of days, so I hope I am not coming down with something - getting sick just doesn't fit in my schedule!
Question, does anyone else use a clearblue fertility monitor? and if so, can you change the recorded data (one month I ran out of sticks, and forgot to restart it, so one of my cycle histories is wrong).
Sorry I wasn't holding out but I thought I was prepared for the BFN answer as it turns out I wasn't. Friday was a nightmare AF arrived well and truly and I was so sick. I've spent the weekend trying to make myself feel better as I was struggling with the thought of not having another cycle till March next year.
Well, I had my transfer this morning & we transferred a grade 2 blastocyst. We currently have 2 embys ready for the freezer, the embryologist advised that we have 8 currently at the stage of the 'just before turning into a blasty' so she will check overnight & see if any of the others are ready for the freezer.
I had an absolutely horrific experience the last embryo transfer we undertook, so was feeling very anxy about today. But, glad to say it couldn't have gone better. No pain, no screaming, no recreating of the exorcist on the table with legs akimbo!! I was so traumatised last time that my doctor promised me she would come in for any of the transfers & do them herself (last time was another FS), so I had my own doctor & by co-incidence my favourite nurse was working today as well. I was also a bit sneaky & bought in the icky clexane injection for the nurse to do!!
Anyway good luck & best wishes everyone, I think I'll now mosey across to the 2WW thread & hope to see you there soon xxx
LMM - Great result on the number and quality of embies to be frozen this cycle! I like the way you do business, giving the clexane injection to the nurse Although I have to say, I have become pretty good at giving injections and reckon I do a better job than most of the nurses! I take more care than them. I have a massive purplish/blue bruise from yesterday's shot. I think it was too close to an older injection site, and I bled a little too. It's quite scary looking at all the bruises over my stomach!
GL to you for this cydle. I'm posting in the TWW, too, so no doubt will talk to you there.

Hi to everyone and sorry for missing people
AFM ~ In a natural TWW and ive had some funny tummy type pains and maybe getting my hopes up but hoping they are a good sign and not just wind or something LOL
ty loops.she hasnt started labour yet.she is hardly moving seems very disoriented.i have given her a warm bath and rubbed her belly and teats just havent taken her for a walk coz its too hot, plus i dont think she would walk far at the moment.if nothing is happening by time DP gets home i might take her to the vet and see if they can help things along
littlemissmoo - glad your transfer went well. My first transfer was horrible and I was so scared for the next one but thankfully it went well. GL in the 2ww!
AFM - can't quite believe it but it's a BFP! Still in shock (first BFP ever) and I am just so so scared now of the whole world of things that could go wrong. But just going to take it one day at a time, and try not to freak out too much. Hugs to everyone and thanks for your support.
