Treenie- it must be so frustrating to not fully be happy with the FS. It costs so much to even step foot in there!
We tried clomid when we didn't know what was causing us trouble. It didn't work, but obviously it does for some.
Have you tried alternatives eg chiropractor, acupuncture etc? Some people swear by those..... Not me. Scientists and doctors got us our bfp.
Do you not want to got to ivf? Sorry if youve already answered that.

Treenie, did she do a hysteroscopy during the lap? It's so tricky when you're dealing with the "unexplained" diagnosis. For us, it meant "insufficiently investigated" because our first FS wouldn't do a lap to check for endo. Ever since we started testing further, we find problem after problem, so we went from "unexplained" to overwhelmed... But some couples are genuinely unexplained - whatever is getting in the way is beyond modern medicine or could boil down to really bad luck. If you have any doubts about the thoroughness of your FS, then it sounds like a second opinion would be a good idea.

It was after our hysteroscopy that we started to find things. And then solve things. Expensive test, but for so worth it!

    Thanks for the support girls.

Juniper - yep had a hysteroscopy, pap smear, dye test, check for endo, removal of ovary cysts (which I ended up not having) & D&C at the same time as the lap (I think I had the works done).

Williever - haven't tried alternative methods yet (I'm looking into that now), we can't afford ivf right now.
I've tried 6 cycles of clomid previously, which worked (as in they made me ovulate) but still didn't fall pg. So when she said to try clomid again, I was just thinking "Really, again?"

Treenie- it might be that your FS wants to see how everything goes now that you have had 'the works' done. Maybe do the clomid for a couple of cycles? Sometimes the d&c is enough (obviously with ovulation also). That's how my FS explained it to me after my hysteroscopy.
It will give you time to find another FS too.
    I'm sorry it's so frustrating!

Been testing daily since trigger to monitor the progression. Had the last booster on Thursday. Got my hopes up yesterday when the line was darker than Friday, but then today's was lighter, so I guess it just took the last booster 2 days to show up instead of 1? B/t is Wednesday.
