Hi everyone, i am going to start eating a raw diet, you know as in fresh vegie/fruit juices, salads, nut/seed cereals etc, all fresh clean food. Has anyone done this or know of anyone who has during TTC or IVF? Bit paranoid if it is ok to do.

Kel- I did it once, not while TTCing. I would say that you might need to add some fats into it? I did feel ok, but just had to keep eating fresh snacks.

Personally, I wouldn't restrict myself. Protein is extremely important. In fact most FS recommend a high protein diet while doing IVF/TTC.

I agree with n2l you will need protein. I have salads every night with meat or fish. It's working. Slowly.
I was having skimmed milk smoothies for breakie, but now switching to full fat. I swore by full fat milk for my last FET. So even if it had no effect I'm doing it again ;-)

I am not trying to lose weight I just want to feel healthier instead of so sluggish, I won't be going 100% raw as it seems a little hard. I am having a juice in the morning with green leafy veggies and one piece of fruit and then probably something fairly normal for lunch and snacks are rich in nuts/seeds so I will be getting fats and protein there. I never have been a very big meat easier but I tend to eat a lot of carbs so probably why I am sluggish. Thanks for your thoughts ladies!

Kel - I feel yuk with too much carbs and dairy. I used to have a ginger, cucumber and apple juice in the morning. The ginger worked a treat!

    Hello

Apparently I am CD13 today and we have Finally made it to egg pick up after increase from 150iu Gonal F to 600iu.... Finally they are big enough!! Gotta be at the surgicentre for 7am, transfer scheduled for Friday.... Well fingers crossed anyway
He only checked my right ovary yesterday and said there was about 20 or so follicles just on the one side, varying in size but most are ready to go!! Plenty on the left side as well but he didn't bother counting them.
Nasal spray last night (how foul is that stuff ) I'm a wee bit nervous, mostly because me and anesthetic don't go we'll together, I guess in also really nervous that there is goin to be no eggs, or none fertilize and then there goes $10,000 will take us another 6-8 months to save to be able to try again

Good luck Ceejelz, try not to worry - I had the same fear with my EPU and all was fine and I now have 4 healthy embies in the freezer. FX for a good outcome for you and yes I agree that nasal spray is rotten!! Geez with 20 follies just on one side you must be very sore - I had 30 in total and by the day before EPU it hurt just to walk!! Felt so much better afterwards

SORE!?!?!?!?!!! Sore is not the word for lot lol, I rung the on call nurse on Sunday afternoon because I was in so much pain I could hardly bloody walk. Lots of panadol an weatbags that day now my boobs and under my arm pits are aching which is normal for me around ovulation. So sounds like everything is on track.
