    Hi lovely ladies,
I am putting myself back in here even though AF has not yet here, she is due tomorrow and fully expect her to arrive.

So another BFN for me this month, it is my 6th BFN in 12 months.

I am feeling a little numb, haven't let myself fully analyse what this means and am trying to still look forward with hope, but it is getting very hard. I am off to see FS on Monday and will hopefully go straight into a flare cycle, so I will be official cycling as of Monday.

Will catch up on everyone's news then, all the best to everyone who is having EPU and ET this week.

    Hi Everyone,

    INJECTION TIP

    - earlier on in this forum I gave my tip for injections. Actually I only used it for my trigger, but you could use it for all injections. Just use one of those freezer bricks like the ones you use in eskies. You place it on the injection site for about one minute and then go for it. You will not feel a thing. I know that Twomums took my advice and didn't feel a thing either.

I also took my trigger out of the fridge half an hour before injecting it. The solution tends to get thick when it's too cold and hurts more going in - or so I'm told. This did not hinder my IVF treatment at all. I had 16 follicles and got 16 eggs at EPU.

Good luck with injections I hope this helps you too. Saves money on Emla cream.

    AFM

    Now I'll do my AFM:

AF finally arrived after a 43 day cycle. So as I predicted it was probably because of the hormone injections from last IUI which stuffed my whole system up. Thanks for your thoughts along the way. x
I can't believe I am actually happy AF is visiting, I will be starting my Puregon injections tomorrow night (Sun) or Mon night and I am very excited to be starting the process again.
I really hope it works this time for obvious reasons but also because we are currently trying to buy a house so can't really afford to do IVF just yet.

GL everyone and thanks for all your help and support in here xo

    Hi everyone,
A quick one from me as i'm about to go to work! Had my B/T and U/S today after 6 days of injections - they didn't tell me much (which annoyed me a little!) but my E2 is 523 but i think there may have only been 2 large follies (about 13mm) and i think around 13 on the right and around 12 on the left (i'm gussing the scan results from what she typed on the screen they didn't tell me!) So have my puregon and orgalutran tonight and Sun then repeat B/T and U/S Monday. What does my E2 level sound seems a little low????
I came home and had a sleep for an hour or so - feeling quite bloated - off to work now will check in later.

    xxBella

P.s - congrats Loops on AF arrival - now you can start GL!!!!
PPS - mindhugs tips for painfree injecting works - orgalutran didn't even hurt last night!

    Hi Everyone,

Rob - That is fantastic news. Great fertilisation rates! Congrats!

Loops - Glad AF finally arrived so you can get back on that horse and try try again...all the best for this cycle!

Bella - I think your e2 levels are really good for 6 days of injections, Kims was only 72!! Its only early in the game, next scan and bloods will be the tell tale!!

Mindhugs - That is fantastic an egg for every follicle!! Cant wait to hear about fertilisation !!! Good on you!!

BabyDreamTime - Have you had your BT yet??

Kmond - Everyone is different, but usually about day 10 or 11 you have your 1st scan, so about 6 days of stims..

    Big hi to everyone else!!

Well we had the transfer this morning. When we got there we had:

2 x 6 cells at Grade2+ (the two we put back)
1 x 5 cell at Grade2+ (one we are going to freeze)
1 x 4 cell at Grade2 (one that has probaby arrested)

I asked if they should have been 8 cells by now and she said that because it is so early on the 3rd day they are perfectly good embryo's. I asked if the 4 cell was the one that was only 2 cells yesterday, and she said no, that the 2 cell from yesterday was now a 5 cell, good enough to freeze. The other one that is a 4 cell was already a 4 cell yesterday and most likely wont be good enough to freeze. They will check it this afternoon to see if it has changed to a 5 or 6 cell, but it has most likely arrested. Wont know until Monday.

So we have the best two embryos that are perfectly great embryo's on board! Kim went to accupuncture yesterday afternoon at 5pm and today after the transfer at 10am. We arent going to do anymore, the accupuncturist said that studies have shown that before and after transfer is all that is required. She put these little round sticky plasters that are like tiny thumb tacks into Kim's ear and she said they can stay in for up to 7 days to assist implantation. Now all we can do is hope and pray!!!
