Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

    Thanks rai. xx

Having a sucky day. AF pain is getting worse each cycle and my feet are killing me (was supposed to start seeing the podiatrist today, but had to postpone because of AF). Hobbling about like an 80yo woman and trying to keep up with a 3yo...
    [/end whinge]

Hoping the podiatrist can help next week and then I guess it's probably time to see the GYN about my endo again... For some reason the idea of another lap scares me this time (it didn't the last two times), so I've been putting it off, but I can't keep doing this every month...

Juniper - i second Rai's sentiments "wish the stupid witch would stay away for you"

Happy Tuesday all, love and light and LOTS of baby dust

AFM - a little out of sorts which i think is my norm when AF has recently started. the realization that another month has passed with no BFP is always hard but onwards and upwards. My calender this month says “To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping” I am going to keep on stepping until I get my BFP!!!!

That really sucks Juniper, what a pain for you both physically and mentally.....hope it eases for you until you can get to your appt next week

Sorry you are feeling scared about doing another lap, that sucks too! GL with that appointment, I agree you can't keep going on like this best to get it sorted

Wishing your day gets better hun xx

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

Sorry Ladies, quick question...... AF up until about 9/10 months ago used to last pretty much 4 days each cycle however in the last 9 or so months that has changed to 2 days i spot for a couple of days prior and a day after the 2 days of AF

It worries me that its changed, I have asked my FS and he reckons my bloods are perfect when i do a stimulated cycle so my hormones are all doing what they are supposed to and he said that a 2 day period is normal. I am 37 so maybe that's a factor too

Has this happened to any of you with AF as you have got older? or has it happened at some point in your cycle when you were perhaps younger? just trying to work it out, it likely doesn't mean much and I guess I should just go with what FS is saying

I was told that i can expect to start menopause at 45 years of age great!!

Your opinions on this would be appreciated, thanks!

Thanks Positively. xx I'll be interested to hear if you get another explanation for the AF change. Mine has gotten lighter and shorter over the last 8 months or so (from 5 days down to 3-4 and big decrease in heaviness). I'd love to hear an explanation that doesn't include perimenopause (my current theory for me because my AMH is very low and my last AFC was only 2)...

    Hi ladies,

Back again, after the madness that is working keeping me away from all of you. Have briefly caught up on all your news.

AFM, blood tests show no O yet this month and it's CD19, so maybe didn't happen or maybe bt missed it  feeling a bit over the whole process atm to be honest. Anyone else ever feel like you just keep going round and round in circles?? Not letting it get me down, just a bit deflated.

On a side note, another Cavi owner here- we had a beautiful Black and Tan called Charlie, unfortunately he was killed by a cane toad when he was 2.5 yo. Still miss him terribly every day. Enjoy baby Ruby Sarah, I'm sure she will have a gorgeous personality.

Joski - meant to say I do often feel like I am going round and round in circles, i certianly feel that way around AF time each month. It does pass thank goodness I think once I have accepted that I didn't get my BFP yet so time to get back in the saddle and try again. So you are not alone, you are completely normal and good on you for not letting it get you down. I somehow also manage to pick myself up dust myself off and keep going, so grateful for that strength!

GL hope your body starts behaving itself for you

Joski, when we were in that stage of doing cycle after cycle, there used to be a personal trainer business in the building where I work and I had to pass it on my way to the toilets (and when you're drinking 3L per day for IVF, you go to the toilet a lot). They used to have a blackboard outside their door and often had Einstein's definition of insanity written on it (doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome) and after a few cycles it was a very hard thing to see day after day... BUT, we did eventually get our different outcome... and I can hear her in the next room spitting water, so I'd better run...

Aw juniper sorry about darn AF xoxo
I can say that my AF used to go for 5 days with spotting on 6th. But this last year it's been more like 3days and a lot lighter. I've got an AMH of about 5 last test last year.
This mc I've bled all month! Noo!
So sick of the mess by now. It's only spotting though.

Well my pups name is Ebony now as she is a black one as they sold the red by mistake! But I'm still happy!

Not sure where to from here. I'm kinda scared to ttc atm :-/ before I was like lets get pg ASAP but now I'm a chicken!
Like lets put another embryo in my womb of death! Lol like I'm so positive right now can't u tell?!

I've got more puregon in my fridge waiting patiently.

Saw my healer/dr. Today, he asked me how long we been ttc and when I said over 2 yrs he said sometimes it's just not meant to be" ... Not what I want to hear that's for sure!!
Life is all upside down n back the front right now.
All I wish for is a baby :-/

Joski, round n round is making me dizzy!

    Baby dust girls xxxxxx

Thanks you juniper and positively (love the name change!) for your kind words, nice to know I'm supported by you ladies.

Sarah, it does make you dizzy, doesn't it? Certainly not what you want to hear from you dr. Give yourself time - start again when you feel ready, that moment might take you by surprise but you will know when it feels right. :hugs:
Btw Ebony is a lovely name, bet she looks like my Charlie did, all black with little brown eyebrows?

    Love to all xx

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

he said sometimes it's just not meant to be
That's a completely inappropriate thing for any sort of healer or doctor to say! It's bad enough when an ignorant lay-person says it, but a professional should know better! It's right up there with FS#2 telling us "nature did you a favour" when I showed him the test results from our mm/c...

It's normal for it to take a while to work through the emotions and I'd imagine your uncertainty stems from that emotional turmoil. But, let's be clear, you do NOT have a "womb of death". Like most other m/c, odds are it was a chromosomal issue; nothing anyone could do to prevent it and certainly NOT your fault.

I hope snuggles with Ebony will give you plenty to smile about.

Positively fantastic name change love the attitude xxx

Sarah cant believe the dr said that I would not be happy at all with that comment. I understand you need time its so hard to get through it and honestly you will know when your ready
just take it easy on yourself in the mean time. Ebony is a beautiful name and she sounds gorgeous xxx

Juniper - hope DD was ok when you had to run and see what she was doing!

Sarah - thanks for sharing how AF has changed for you too, i need to find out what my AMH count is, can't recall all that stuck out was starting menopause at 45. You so dont have a womb of death young lady! as Juniper says must have been something like a chromosomal issue. Once you are in the right place again you will know when its time to start trying again. As for your Dr/healer I just knew it had to be a male saying that....so insensitive of him not at all appropriate he should be keeping those nasty thoughts to himself. I love the name Ebony i bet she is as cute as a button too

Rai - Oooh how exciting for you, GL with your search for a furry bub. Boo hoo for the no symptoms hope this changes for you. When is your bday? wishing you a lovely day and a year filled with lots of love, happiness, good health and fulfulling your dreams
my heart aches for you, i still think of our little angel and wonder why, what he/she would look like, who they would take after etc its just heartbreaking stuff :hugs:
