Miss.B, sorry to hear you're unwell, but glad to hear the tablets are keeping the symptoms under control. They never work for me since they changed the ingredients, so I tend to get a bit man-flu-ish.

You know, I think it was when I started being open with my managers (both men) about our TTC issues and the AF pain that they stopped requiring medical certificates for my sick leave. They didn't like getting a phone call every month saying "my period has started so I'll be off sick for 3 days" (my pain was genuinely that severe). I was eventually asked to just send them an email with the subject line "the 3 days" and nothing more...
