Miss B - my last cycle I did hrt. My pesseries cost $210 for 100.
Bunnyfeet - when was your last pregnyl? I have 4 pregnyl shots following transfer till bt. My bt is always 4 days after last pregnyl shot. I did have bt once 3 days later & pregnyl was still around so never doing that again. The clinic wasn't sure if it was pregnyl or a pregnancy in trouble so needed another bt 2 days later.
Beau I had 3 shots after ET last being last Saturday but my clinic likes you to wait 7 days after last Pregnyl shot
Beau, I thought the pregnyl was in your system for at least 7 days - I thought it was only 3 shots as well. Each clinic is different though, so you can ony go by what they say.... Still I'd be tempted to ask saying I had heard it was in the system for seven days and how will that affect the BT... See what they say...?
Bunnyfeet, by 17dpo I can still get faint lines (after trigger and then hcg booster shots at 3, 6 and 10dpo), but a real BFP would give you a clear (dark) line by 17dpo, so you can generally tell whether it's real or not by now. I've been testing around 14dpo based on that logic. FX for great news in the next two days! :goodluck:
Thank you all so much for the warm welcome. While everything seems slightly overwhelming at the moment there is by the looks a wealth of knowledge and support in here to help dance through the process.
Unfortunately we have been deemed clomid resistant, even at the highest dose I had no response, so we are just bding and hoping for a miracle.:

Glorious hope transfer goes smoothly for you. Clinics are really different aren't they. I always have to take pregnyl after transfer.

Beau not sure how I feel! Don't want to get hopes up as they were flailing embyros and my lining wasn't right so the odds are against us. I just want to know and if it hasn't worked, just focus on our FET!

MrsOM- I'm not a great responder to clomid either. Fx for a nice little natural suprise... But if not you must be feeling positive that the wheels are in motion to start ivf.
MissB- Great news that a plan is sorted for your FET. From memory I think the pessaries are $4 each at my clinic... I don't use them because you have to lay down for half hour after and I don't have time for that in the morning before work. I use Crinone instead. Looks like we will end up being cycle buddies again soon X
Thanks all for keeping your fingers crossed for me. Unfortunately this mornings scan showed that I have not responded at all to Clomid.. Both my ovaries and lining were doing nothing! So the FS has decided to scrap trying with a clomid FET and go with a FSH stimmed cycle with FET. So back to the start again and back to daily Gonal F injections. Please please please work this time... I feel like we are running out of options :pray:
Oh Jasmime - I'm so sorry Hun. Fx gonal-f works. That's what I was going to have to try next if my lining didn't behave this cycle. I am ok so far. It hasn't even been 48 hours though.
Bunnyfeet I completely understand your thinking. I was feeling good about last cycle so was dry upset when I got bfn results. Fx for you tomorrow. I will be stalking.

Mrs O'M, my sister didn't respond to clomid either, but she got a BFP a few weeks ago on her second FSH+TI cycle. GL with the next step.

Miss.B, it is very good you have grade A embryo, you will have a good chance to have BFP for your next FET cycle. I wish I can have grade A embryo too, did you take any DHEA and Melatonin? I just have the prescription for DHEA, I am going to buy it tomorrow. I am a little bit hesitating to take it. The other doctor I have been asked for second opinion, he recommended to take Melatonin for two months and he said after you stop it, your body will generate melatonin by yourself. I feel a little bit lost I don't know how to improve my egg quality.

I have been taking the CoQ10 tablets for about 8 months now, I don't know if that did anything good for my egg quality but one thing that was good that came of it was that my AMH level went from 3.8 to almost 8. And I never had a grage A embryo before, with my first 3 BFPs I had a grade B embryo put in and my last BFN cycle I had a grade D put in, that didn't take. So maybe look into the CoQ10 tablets?
Kate, I tried acupuncture with my last BFN cycle, I did it for 3 or 4 months. I did get 9 eggies (previously I had 13 eggs which was 4 years ago, and then I kept getting about 3 or 4). So although I got more eggs, it seems that all 9 weren't that great. However, I have heard fantastic stories about BFPs with acupuncture. I think you should give it a go..

AFM, I am freaking out about the cost of the progesterone pessaries....:( I am told that I need 2 x 400mg from around the time of transfer and then if I get a BFP I will need to take them till around 12 weeks. I think I will go broke! I called Priceline and they are charging around $3.99 per pessary? That's so expensive!!

Thank you Miss.B, I am taking CoQ10 150mg per day and I can't remember how long I have been taking it. Maybe I have to take 600mg daily, how many do you take daily? Could I ask what it is AMH level?
Katewithquestions Ive been having acupunture last 4 months. Our last round we only had 2 viable embyros out of 15 :mad: this round we had 18 mature out of 20. So we have 11 frosties and yet to see if ET worked for others. So not sure if it was the acupunture or not that helped but it cant do any harm. I also took 150mg Q10 twice a day (seemingly its important to split dose) and went gluten free. So we'll see if it all has worked. We're hoping we have a good un somewhere in this batch!

I did the acu trial with my clinic last year (just to try something extra... Plus I believe in being involved in research - 1 its free! 2 it helps learn stuff ;) ) anyway.... It was the only cycle i have done where I got a BFP. I ended up finding out it was a missed mc at 8 weeks (had it grown past 6), but it gave me some hope. I did one cycle without it in December, and then decided to give it a go. Private health gives me some rebate.. Not much, but better than nothing. It Ii so helpful to have the time just to zone out each week, and not think, but just relax... I do a guided meditation at the same time... I also started seeing a naturopath this year... I really think both these things helped with the better egg haul I got this time (along with increased meds!) plus something tried to stick this time... And again... I had acu... I have only had the little blobs try and stick when I had had acu... So... I am going to continue doing it.:
KateWQ, I started acu after our 3rd IVF was another BFN. I had never been pg at the time and was desperate to try anything that might help. The acu recommended doing 4 months of treatments before our next IVF, to maximise egg quality. The second cycle of acu, we got a natural BFP - our first ever BFP! Unfortunately, it ended in m/c, but it seemed like a miracle after so many BFN treatment cycles (6 IUI, 3 IVF & 1 FET) with our FS. I continued acu through our next 2 IVFs and then throughout my pg with DD (and I had a very easy pg, in spite of being higher risk for complications due to my weight and medical history). When we started TTC#2, I started back at acu and once again we got a natural BFP in my second cycle of acu (and again it was a m/c). We have been TTC for 5.5 years all up and we've only had those 3 BFPs, so we've never managed to get a BFP in a cycle without acupuncture!

Was hard not to get my hopes up when she was so much later than usual this month. Sigh. :(

Yeah I will do a FET. Should try to lose weight more, but can't keep putting it off either. I am getting old. List about 2kg this month - better than nothing. Maybe I can lose one more before transfer.
Dibt know about the double posts :( you are not the only one though. It's frustrating!! I use safari on my phone all the time. But it doesn't double post. How are you accessing BB when it double posts?
