Lou, I'm crying now!
Yes, I can back her up, she really is so wonderful with Nicholas! Lou is truly amazing in how well she copes with all of her friends pgs and babies. She is always so genuinely excited and happy for everyone. But not nearly as excited and happy as I will be for her when she graduates out of here! I am praying every day for her, and all of the rest of you too![]()

Hi everyone
I too am struggling with personals as there is sooo much happening! So a BIG hello to everyone!
Sushee...just wanted to let you know I emailed IVF Australia re a phone consult with Dr Gavin Sacks re:reproductive immunology and he is available to speak to me Thursday or Friday...and get this...no charge????? Don't know why but I am soooo nervous! Will be very interesting to see what he has to say!
well done Ellie - hoping Dr Sacks will have some news for you. xx
i spoke to soon re: Harvey the wonder dog. as he is a street dog he still has a lot of learning esp when learning not to go to the toilet on my cream colour couch................ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. hope it wont stain!! its scotch garder and just on the flappy bit at the bottom. have attached it with washing up liquid and water !!!!any ideas would be great. I also rubbed his nose very close to it and told him no and put him out...... he knows he in trouble as everytime he see me and i say out he goes out and he doesnt usually. boy will he be sooking
Hi Loula
I have had a similar problem with one of my furbaby cats - I expect the smell won't be as bad with your dog but still bad enough. I have found success with using an enzyme based washing powder such as BioZet etc - damp it onto the area and rinse out with a wet cloth as well as you can, using a dry cloth to dry out as much as possible. The enzymes will break down the proteins in the urine and therefore get rid of the some of the smell (apparently!). Once it is dry, I then use Febreeze on the area - you can get it at the supermarket - it should get rid of any lingering odours. Hope this helps you.
Cheryl
Funny you say that but it doesnt smell, unless this cold is getting the better of me ..hehe I have got frebreeze and love the stuff - someone once told me that it was going to be banned as people have been caught spraying it ONTO their animals !!!!!WTF havent they heard of bathing !!!
Hi everyone
Loula - it sounds like you are already sorted with your baby's mess then - the only other thing that I have used is bi-carb of soda to help draw the stain out when it is wet - might be a bit hard on a vertical surface though!
Just an update on me in case anyone is interested - I had to take some panadol last night to sleep. This morning all my bloating and pain was gone! So I had my injection and phoned the nurses. They have told me not to worry and to wait until my scan tomorrow before having the next injection, so I will know more then. Apparently, the hot flushes and bloating/discomfort are common and not necessarily OHSS - can anyone else confirm this?
Anyway, hope everyone is going well today. I am not feeling as cr@ppy today as I did this time yesterday, which hopefully is a good sign.
Take care all, Cheryl xx
Ellie, fabulous news about Dr S! I swear there are many women here who think he's the greatest. Flowerchild and Keen and SuziQ and a whole host of others who think he's the bees knees. I am so glad you're getting to talk to him, and isn't he great that he is doing it free of charge? How many Drs would do that?
I am so happy for you!
hi Chez - great news that things have settled down now hun - i had some bloating and discomfort during the stim cycle - just kinda came and went - hope it's going to stay nice and calm for you
take care
Chez - glad to hear that you are feeling a little more comfortable and that the thought of OHSS has eased a little gl with your scan
Thanks everybody for being so supportive. I kinda feel a bit silly jumping to conclusions of OHSS but I guess this is all still so new for me and I want to make sure I maximise my chances with this first cycle. There are never too many questions when it comes to your health!
Ellie - that is great news about your phone call with the doc. Fingers crossed for you that you will get more information to add to your plan for the next cycle.
Jo - how is everything with you? Have you started your next cycle?
BW - are your symptoms still nice and strong? Are you having another b/t before your scan?
Everyone else, hope all is well, take care.
Cheryl xx
Chez - i just replyed to you in the acpunture thread
Chez, I don't see how you can be silly at all for being worried about it. As BW knows, OHSS is a big thing and it would be way more silly to not do anything and get sick.
Thanks for your kind words Rols. Maybe some of our female traits are rubbing off on you since being here, or have you always been a SNAG? Anyway, thanks again everyone for your support. I will let you know how the scan goes tomorrow morning.
Cheryl
Good luck tomorrow Cheryl...will be thinking of you xxx
Methinks Rols is most definitely a SNAG
GL Cheryl for the scan tomorrow, hun!
