    Hi Everyone!!

I haven't been around much the last 2 days... been busy!!!

BG - Great news re your app today!!! I posted in your journal but wanted to send you wishes here too xxx

Ellie - Can't wait to see how you go with your phone call tomorrow... will be so interesting, and he has such a good reputation, too

Chez - Hope you're hanging in there sweetie
The first cycle always feels like you're running around in the dark trying to find the light to switch it on.... Great to hear your ovaries seem to be waking up a little!!!! Can I suggest to keep them warm... my NP told me last cycle to have a hot water bottle or something similar on your abdomen as much as you can while you're "growing" follies... If you can feel them niggling, you will definately notice the niggling increasing from keeping them warm.
I sat as often as I could with the hot water bottle (As it is at the moment I'm sitting here at the computer with a hot water bottle on my belly!!!)
I can vouch from experience that this can help... the other thing my NP told me to do was to eat lots of warm foods (soups, vegetables, etc... anything that warms you up inside helps with the growing of follies, too apparently!)
I guess it comes down to what you believe, but hey, anything is worth a try

Megan - Glad to hear you're ready to go again!!!! Are you excited?!

Lou - Praying things are starting soon sweetie xxx

Jo - Can I ask what PHI you switched to? We have been with Man Unity for the last 6yrs.. they seem to still be the best for our circumstances, but interested in what you guys have chosen!!!

To everyone else... a big Hope everyone is great!!!

Not much happening here - I think this is the weekend Antonia is in Sydney.. not sure, but she said she would call on the Fri if it was so I could meet her over the weekend for a treatment.... Here's hoping!!!
Am feeling great from everything I'm taking though... not sure if its coincidental or not, but since DH has started drinking Antonias tonic, he has stopped snoring... completely... this is an amazing miracle in itself, as it was pretty bad!!!
Am very happy at the better nights sleep we have both been getting!!!

Hope everyone is great and talk soon!!

    Love Holly

BW, good to see you are still popping in here, even though you have gone to the "other side" lol. I hope you are well and the pg hormones aren't knocking you about too much!

Holly, I am a bit excited this time! I guess because I know what to expect now so I'm not anxious or nervous. I've had a good break from AC which I think has done me the world of good too.
What is the tonic you mentioned that stopped your DH's snoring?? I need some of that!!! lol

Chez, I'm hoping you're right and your ovaries are just a bit slow to wake up. Nice of you to step in and keep BG company now that I've graduated. Life is such fun being a problem patient.

    BW
Thanks BW - I have never thought of myself as a problem patient before but it appears I might be.

Holly - thanks for the tip about the hot water bottle. I am someone who feels the cold and I have been finding myself needing to have the electric blanket on for what seems like hours before I warm up in bed!! But I am eating lots of soups and hot drinks to keep warm (but also because it is part of my new eating plan - lost 3.1kgs in 2 weeks so it is working!). I will pick up a hot water bottle on the way home - sounds like a nice way to spend Friday night, me, HWB, blankie, DF and our furbabies snuggling in front of a movie

Loula - I forgot to answer you last night: I did mention my pain to FS and she said that it wasn't OHSS, if anything, the pain was a good sign that my ovaries were actually responding! So now my motto is: ab pain is good pain!

To everyone else, happy spraying, injecting, etc etc and good luck with FS visits and phone calls! Chat soon.

Snap - we decided on Manchester Unity too, but they haven't sent the final papers through yet to sign, and it's been a week. Not sure what we are going to do as i will hopefully be doing and OPU in less than a fortnight. I really busy atm, so i'll try to ring them on Monday to see what the story is. I am really pleased that DH has stopped snoring - what a result! My DH stopped snoring once he quit smoking, but in the last few months he has started again. Hopefully the bruises in his ribs might help him stop!!

Hi Megan, good to hear things are starting again for you. Hope AF behaves for you.

to everyone else. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

hehehe - the bruised ribs only work temporarily Jo - they start snoring again pretty quickly (well, mine does anyway!!) - a friend suggested a tennis ball to help DH stop snoring - wear a t-shirt back to front with a tennis ball in the pocket to stop him rolling onto his back (interesting suggestion - if you wear clothes to bed!)

    Hi everyone

Just checking in to let you know that I have just been to my first IVF support acupuncture session. I am feeling very positive after the visit - not sure if it is an effect of the acupuncture or because I feel I am taking a little bit of control back over my body Anyway, she believes that there is still a good chance for an EPU later next week with the treatment she gave me today. So, I have to think lots of positive thoughts.

Hope everyone is doing well and has somewhere nice and warm to be tonight. I have a date with my hot water bottle, blankie and DF while we watch some movies. Take care.

A new house? Surely not the same house that is photographed on your MySpace? That place is awesome!

Oh yeh, i forgot i had that webpage listed.
No, that was our first home - we built it and did everything to it for 15 months and then my lovely DH decided to move us to victoria, so he could get a new job. We rent a cold little place with high ceilings. And we have no painting, gardening, fixing, mending etc to do in our weekends. It's weird not owning a home after having thrown all our time and effort into one, but we are getting used to it. Lots of free time (and no mortgage ). Good for when you do AC!!

Ellie - i hope that your Ok? (silly Q, i know) just here for you. im sorry that youve got this infection, make sure you discuss this with Dr S and/ or you normal FS. i thisnk there are many different strep, i know a girl at work had it in her chest and took her some time to get over.

The only advice i can give you is get some inner health + from you local chemist, not the tablet but the one you sprinkel onto your food and have a spoon of that with some yoghurt, that should help it to settle at least .

Thanks guys...my day just isn't getting any better...due to the job drama I thought I'd go in to work today...being Saturday and no one around to clear out my gear...only to find that all my cupboards and filing cabinet have been gone through...even my diary and note book have pages torn out of them! I even found some in the bin...AND a heap of my stuff is gone...hundreds of dollars worth of teaching resources GONE!!! Soooooo NOT HAPPY! SO this is just more proof that I would never get pregnant working there...stress is a very BAD thing!

OMG Ellie - that's attrocious!! you're kinda stuck in a bad place - to keep your stress levels down, you kinda have to let it go - but i'd be furious, and making sure it was known! NOONE has a right to go through your things! if they were concerned that you'd take stuff that didn't belong to you, they should have arranged with you a time to go in and clean your stuff out. i'm digusted for you hun! let me at 'em - i'll give 'em a piece of my mind! (for you of course!!)

Thanks BG...so it's not just me??? It's really rude huh? DH was with me and he was really annoyed but like you...said I need to let it go...I'm trying!@?! That would be funny...walking in with team BB and giving them a piece of 'our' minds...that works for me...I'll hang on to that thought lol

Oh...and to top off this fantastic day I'm having...I'm off for the MIL's birthday dinner tonight that was to be held at our house was then cancelled and reorganised at the BIL's?????

    GIVE ME STRENGTH!!!!!!

Oh my gosh.... some people, i really dont get it. Ellie are you a teacher too ? i know a GF of mine works in a competative biss and when someone leaves they ask them to go through their stuff together, but what you have had to gothrough is so bad, can you go to anyone ? or is it better to let it go as BG says?

Im sorry that you have had such a rough time ATM

it's definitely not just you hun - i felt violated when i'd had a couple of weeks off work due to illness and someone had packed my stuff up as we had a desk change while i was away - everything was there - but i felt really annoyed that someone else had been messing with my stuff

had anything been missing, i would have seriously given them a piece of my mind! i'm sure Team BB will be there with you in spirit through the whole thing hun - and if you have a list of things you yourself have paid for that are now missing - or things that are rightfully yours, i'd be sending them a letter asking for it back - i'm not sure of your circumstances, but is there someone you can talk to and mention you're not happy and want your things back - along with a formal apology for the interference with your personal items??
