goodluck with the painting hun - i'm sitting here looking at the half painted dining room trying to get motivated - aint gonna happen! - think it's time for a nana nap! painting might get done this weekend - weather looks like it's gonna be a shocker - perfect time to be inside painting (now if i only had an aunt to babysit the furbabies that make painting so difficult LOL!)

You are both making me feel guilty...I've had weeks off work and the one thing I wanted to achieve was to paint the gym and the study....and I haven't even got the paint out the shed!!!! You go girls!!!

    G'day Team,

Have been checking in often, just got nothing to say at present.

Chez, completely bypassing all of the other stuff, don't feel guilty about a blueberry muffin! If you are being that hard on yourself the diet will not work and you'll go mental. Good luck with everything else too. I can appreciate the urgency you feel regarding your age. But there is still ample time.

BG, bet you're up the duff!

Kotare, hope things progress well with cycle 2. If it's not too personal or identifying, what does DH do for work? Ignore question if it's not cool.

Ellie, the thought of a green apple sprinkled with sugar has the opposite effect on me! Particularly as I am recovering from nausea myself, of the self inflicted feral Saturday night kind.

    G'day to everyone else.

    Hi everyone

BG - I bet you are UTD too!

Just an update on me - my FS phoned: my oestregon (I guess I should learn how to spell this?) levels are at 377 and apparently they like them to be more than 200 so FS says we should continue even though there is only one follie. So, I have to drive back into the city this afternoon and pick up another script and get more Gonal-F and then another scan and b/t on Thursday. I finally had to tell my supervisor at work that there were some medical issues going on with me and that I would need some flexibility with my work schedule and of course I started crying. Luckily he is a friend socially as well so it makes it a bit easier and he was very understanding offering both his and his wife's help with anything that I might need. He used the phrase "emotional rollercoaster" to me so maybe he suspects what is going on but he had the good grace not to ask for any more details than what I was providing.

So, we're back on! The FS is cautiously optimistic and doesn't want to cancel the cycle just yet, although she reminded me that there was still a 50% chance of not making it to a transfer. So, I am going to try for another acupuncture session ASAP to try to help things along as much as possible!

Rols, you are right, I shouldn't feel guilty about one blueberry muffin what I do feel more guilty about now is that my gym session that I am scheduled for now has just been blown out the window because I need to spend more than an hour in traffic driving into and out of the city!

Sushee - gl with your painting and house selling, and a trip to Egypt - what a busy time you have ahead!

Anyway, thanks everyone for all your support, again. Talk again soon.

    Hi Everyone!!!

Chez - So sorry tp hear about how things are going, sweetie. I know that just nobody can say anything to make you feel better right now, but please know we're thinking of you.
Fingers crossed that the phonecall this afternoon brings good news for you.
I was going to suggest the same as BG - Is IUI an option?

Jo - How exciting.. things seem to be more relaxed already for you this cycle with DH's work... what dose have you been put up to with your needles? Hope this week flies by for you and EPU is here before you know it!!! How exciting, I've got everything crossed for you xxx

Ellie - So sorry to hear about your infection xxx
I don't want to scare you but I had something very similar happen to me after giving birth to Luke... Don't want to freak you out, but OMG, definatley stay on top of it sweetie... It makes you wonder how things like this can still happen, but they do xxx

BG - I've posted in your journal, but just wanted to send you positive thoughts All is sounding good for you!!!!

Hi Ellie..... I had group B strep to. The nurses told me it doesnt affect you until you had a vag birth. It will only ever affect the baby not you. They gave my son a shot of penacilane (not sure of spelling sorry) when he was born and everyone was fine. Great you have found out early. I think but dont hold me to it,but once you have it you always have it.

    Hi Everyone,

Just quickly... I'm getting into trouble as DH wants some "wife" time.....!!!!!!!!!!

Ellie - If you read my TTC journal (Its a little long, I apologise in advance! ), the details are all there.

The hospital wouldn't tell me exactly what it was, but did say it was "Strep Related" ...... whatever that means???!!!
I only know that this is the reason that I have had soo much trouble TTC another baby - because they didn't recognise it straight away, and because they didn't treat it properly.
It may not be anything like yours, but from experience, my advice is to get every answer that you can & make sure you are taking the right antibiotics, etc.
I'm probably a little overdramatic now, but history haunts me...

BG...sounding good. Have everything crossed for you & then some.

Me - I went to new FS & really like him. Felt very comfortable which is such a relief. DH having another anaylsis done & I had more blood tests. Going back in 3 weeks & looks like we will give IUI a go first. Just depends on the results. Am excited cause we are one step closer. Have started doing Yoga which is great cause it helps me relax & going to Port Macquarie next week so that'll get my mind off things.

    Hope everyone is okay...talk soon.

Sushee, good luck with the house. BTDT recently, and am so glad it's all over! lol
Have a great time in Egypt. Good to hear you will be back in time for my TWW... I may need some of your calming words!

Chez, glad to hear things are back on track for you. Hopefully this follie is going to do the job for you.

Ali, you've reminded me I need to go back to yoga. I haven't been for about 6 weeks, and I know it makes a difference. Just that hour or so once a week and I find it so beneficial. I should really make an effor to get there this Thursday night.

Well, I finally get to start the pill on Wednesday for down reg. I have ended up with a 32 day cycle which is a few days longer than usual...but now I can concentrate on what is ahead of me. So relieved.

Sushee – good luck with the house – I’m jealous of the holiday – some warm weather would be lovely!
Megan – I’m pleased you are finally started again. Good luck.
Ali – great news about your new FS. So pleased you sound lots more positive.
Holly – I’m on 187.5 this time. This probably sounds like nothing to most of you, but I was on 112.5 last time, so I hope the little bit extra does the trick.
Chez – sorry I didn’t get back to you, but it sounds like all is not lost. I have everything crossed for you I would ask about IUI as well. Seems like a logical step when you only have one or two follies.
BG – hope you are a little better today. I so hope all the feeling unwell is a sign of an amazing natural surprise.
Rols – I don’t mind you asking, but I won’t say where DH works. Reason is no-one there knows we are doing IVF except for his boss. They aren’t inflexible with him taking time off, but due to the nature of the industry it’s not really possible to get cover for one day, then come back for one day and then have the next one off too. It mucks others around and many are FIFO too. And they can see he’s not actually sick! So we don’t want gossip and rumours. Men are as bad (if not worse sometimes) at the gossiping!! I have no complaints with the company – if they all knew about IVF they’d bend over backwards I’m sure, but we have decided that we’d rather not tell - It’s been 3 ½ years of TTC – you get tired of people asking how it’s going!!

Jo, I can get the gist of what DH does from what you've said. Not that it's relevant of important of course. I was only talking in a general sense anyway, not specifics. I actually was thinking he may have been in uniform so I was barking up the wrong tree. And I know what you mean about telling ppl. We've hardly told anybody because I couldn't stand the thought of ppl asking questions all the time. It's not that I have a problem with various ppl knowing, I just don't really like discussing that kind of stuff with 30 different ppl on a daily basis!

How are you finding the jabs/routine this time around?

Well, technically he does wear a uniform - but it's orange overalls with reflective stripes and steel toe boots

Now that the jabs have started i feel much better - no more headaches. It's only been 4 days but i've come out in a few bruises this time. Glad it's not bikini season - then i'd have some explaining to do.
