huntsman's ain't spiders Jo! they're eight legged horses (according to a very masculine fella i was friends with a few years back - this comment coming on the back of a very scared scream from him!!) - i can understand the need for sympathy, and if i lived closer i'd come over and help him find his way outside (with the help of a big plastic container of course!) - so far i haven't seen any huntsman since we've lived here (on and off for two years from today!) - but used to get them regularly at my old place, and would usher them unceremoniously into the very back corner of the yard in the hope they wouldn't come back (some got destroyed though - if they weren't in an easy to catch place - well, that was just too bad - they weren't staying inside!!) - good luck getting rid of him hun!
the weather here appears to have calmed down in the past couple of hours (isn't it always the way - pours til you get home out of the rain, then nothing - well, not nothing - it's still raining, but i can at least here the TV now!!). they reckon it will get worse over the next few days though! water over the roads in a few places between here and work, so if it keeps raining over night, might be interesting getting to work - as much as i'd like the day off, i doubt i'd get paid for it, and DH has been rained off work this week, so i kinda have to turn up!! i just don't know about going the long way (straight trip, 40km, long way number 1 - approx 50km, long way number 2 - about 75km.... and no guarantee of clear roads either of those ways either!)
Chez, just wanted to say again that i'll be thinking of you tomorrow and praying for that follie to be nice and healthy and ripe for the picking - good luck hun
Chez, will be thinking of you today and crossing all my fingers and toes for a good outcome!
BG, was just watching the news about the rain. A river in Bairnsdale I think it was has burst it's banks and the water is rising. I hope it's not too bad on the way to work for you. Drive safely!
A question Guys,
We have been LTTTC and i have a question about Pg Suppliments. I take one called Femme Essentials (from meta genics) which i am happy with. However it doesn't have a few of the things in it i have noticed others do. Like selenium, vit K, Silica, phosphorus etc. I want to know if i should be missing these things or if i should add to what i am taking. I also take Spirulina and EHA DHA complex oils. Boy it adds up over the years doesn't it!!! Now...i am my fathers daughter and although i type like a maniac with so many mistakes, I spreadsheet everything. So i have done one of what i take against another brand we have over here and again against recommendations from the Natural Pg, Better Baby book by Francesca (the aussie one). If some one wanted to have a look at it and give me an opinion of what they think. Let me know and i can send it to you. I hope i am allowed to give my address. Maybe i could cut and paste it into here. Can someone let me know. I have read what i can as far as the rules go but i am never sure.
I sometimes get nervous that i am missing a vital ingredient that stops me from getting pg. I have had so many BT and despite being vego don't seem to be low in anything obvious. But you need to much mroe to sustain a pg. Sory about all the questions. Maybe this should be a new thread.
Good luck with that spider, that is something i do not miss over here in the UK are the redbacks, huntsmans and funnelwebs. Eeeeck, i am not a fan.
Best wishes to all and good luck.
Hippy Mum

yes you can post your email address here. Just be aware though that this is a public forum, so anyone browsing this site will now have access to your email address. As far as Vitamins for TTC, maybe try this thread: * Herbal Remedies & Supplements for TTC
Hi everyone - well my FS is very pleased with the size of my follie and we are going ahead for an EPU on Saturday. I will get my phone call to confirm the time to take my trigger injection tonight and then will have another scan prior to the EPU on Saturday to confirm that the egg hasn't prematurely released. My FS has said that in her experience there is about a 80-90% chance that the follie will contain an egg, and then about 70-80% chance that the egg will fertilise for transfer. So we are staying with the odds and the original plan of IVF and ICSI. We discussed a 2 day vs 5 day transfer, and my FS says that because there is only one egg she doesn't want to risk going to 5 days as the embie may not make it - there is a better success rate with 2 day transfer for single eggs apparently.
Maybe the acupuncture sessions and heat pack have worked? I am having another session tomorrow tonight and then a 30mins session before and after transfer. I am starting to sound like a real convert now aren't I?
I am SOOOOOO EXCITED and HAPPY - I am keeping it in check at the moment because of work, but I am sure they all think that something is going on because I have had some real ups and downs this week (although I can write it off as the job thing). Anyway, DF gets home tonight, so he will have to make sure everything is 'fresh' and ready to go on his side of things Unfortunately, he flies out again on Monday morning so won't be around for the transfer. I know that this is probably a long shot but I can't help but feeling positive. Maybe we will be able to meet up with our AC babies sooner than I thought possible? And maybe I will be in my TWW for my 40th birthday - so what if I can't indulge - I have a birthday every year, not an embie in me!!
Thanks everyone - and I forgot to mention my FS wrote me a medical certificate for the whole of next week off work, so I am now cancelling my holiday leave I had booked and changing it to sick leave - YAY!!
xx
Ya Chez - that's wonderful news hun!!! good luck for Saturday!
Mega - we're not all that close to Bairnsdale - although i work in one of the heavily flooded towns - we have a little "creek" that runs behind our building - by the time i got to work this morning the water was up tolevel with thecar park - toput it in perspective, the water had gne high enough to brush the bottom of the viaduct under the train tracks - was still up heaps when i left at lunch time (had been talking to DH and the river near home, although at a stedy level for now, is copping a fair bit of water from the rain in the hills, so i wanted to get home)
