1MP - I had same issue today but I checked the applicator by holding up to the light before I used it and again afterwards to check it was empty... The nurse at clinic recommended doing this as she said sometimes you feel it other times you don't... 😊

AFM: feeling a little devastated, we may not get to do transfer on Saturday as I've been unable to start the Clexane injections as yet due to me still bleeding too heavily for their liking from the EPU so as a precaution they have said no to Clexane until I've had 12hrs without any bleeding but without Clexane we can't do transfer so will have to do freeze all & skip a month then do a FET... They are hoping the Crinone will help stop bleeding & if it does I can start Clexane & still do transfer... Have to wait and see... All 7 are still progressing nicely which is a positive... Trying not to feel defeated it's not the end if the world I know but everything was going well until EPU... 😔

Chellico, really hope you get to transfer on Saturday! It is such a rollercoaster. Great news that all 7 are still progressing- that is fantastic!

1MP, how are you feeling? Not that you should symptom spot this early, that is a world of pain. Sending you sticky vibes!

Pholi, sorry to hear about your cyst. So frustrating.

Spoons, did you have a lap already to clear you of endo? I just wanted to put it out there that I put up with pain and some classic symptoms for years, which I had simply normalised and didn't "notice" as endo (nor did the doctors, or the scans pick it up), and when I finally insisted on a lap "just in case", it was stage 4. Also some endo doesn't create symptoms. I don't want to create stress, I just feel compelled to tell my story just in case one woman gets her baby by having a lap (which is how I was able to have DD and also most likely how I got to be pregnant now).

AFM, nothing new, just staying in present moment as much as possible.

    all the best,
    WW

Chellico thanks next time I will do that had me worried for a while. I have everything crossed you can do your ET this Saturday I know when my fs told me I may have to freeze all
and do a fet I was so disappointed so completely feeling for you, have you tried acupuncture? I had spontaneous bleeding before EPU and that's when they thought they would have to
freeze all but went to a wonderful acupuncturist who specialises is fertility and she stopped it, I just really believe that acupuncture really helps. PM me where you live see if your close
I can definitely recommend this lady I'm seeing. Good Luck xxx

WW feeling good, I've had really sore boobs but was told today to not think too much into it cause crinone will make it seem like I have lots of symptoms. So I'm just freaking quietly cause
honestly not sure if this worked and I know I'm going to be really disappointed if it didn't. But all the hcg is now out of my system so that's good. but I have to say the tww really s***s,
So happy that's everything is going well for you, you so deserve this xxxx

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception June/July 2014

Thanks for sharing, worrywart. I haven't had a lap. Is that a laparoscopy where they just go in and have a look? All I've had is an ultrasound and some blood tests. I'll ask the FS about it when I see him next week.

What should I expect from a first appt with a FS? I've had CD21 bloods and a few other blood tests (cant remember what they were for!) and an ultrasound. DH has done a semen sample (dont have those results yet). Are there any more tests we should ask for? I'll be CD13 on the day of the appt. My main worry ATM is that I've had blood clots on the lungs four years ago so I don't want to take anything that increases the risk of clotting if that's possible to work around. It didn't even cross my mind until I read that some people need to go on the pill before starting their treatment.

Good luck, chellico. I hope you can still transfer on Saturday. x

Thanks guys, I'm reading along and cheering you all on xo

Hi Spoons, every FS wants different tests in my experience I have a clotting issue too so I will be taking Clexane so I dare say with your history they will start you on it from day 1 I have a friend who has had a stroke & is on warfarin but you can't take that while pregnant so they swapped to Clexane whilst doing IVF... Can't hurt to have a lap sometimes they find the answers with them... That's how a friend who was being investigated for endo found out her tubes were blocked they unblocked them & she had 2 babies 2 yrs apart without IVF at 41 & 43 😊

Hi girls, just a quick update... from 6 embryos, 2 were too slow, didn't make it to transfer, so I have 4, we transferred 2, one was frozen yesterday and the other they were going to let me know today if they can freeze it or not, but they still don't call me. Transfer was very painful, not when FS introduced the catheter, but the speculum, after transfer I felt nauseous I thought it was just the shock of the pain, apart from that all went good. Also I wanted to ask, Crinone could give a fase BFP? I just want to make sure if I can test before b/t or is not worth it, because I will be on Crinone?

WW - Im very glad to hear about your hcg numbers. Enjoy it hun, you deserve it xx

1 More - Fingers crossed for a bfp hun, I hope the rest of your 2 ww go quick!

chellico - how are you sweety? I second 1 more, try acupuncture hun, it could really help. Praying things go well and you end up having a transfer on Saturday.

juniper - Thinking of you hun, praying O occur soon.

Sorry if I missed anyone, have a good day everyone xx

Sarah - Congratulations, glad to hear that everything is going great

1 More - We transferred 2 embryos yesterday, so today 1dp5dt, I think my blood test is on the 4th of August, and I don't know when I am going to test, perhaps tomorrow given than I am very anxious lol

AFM - I just went to the clinic to have my Pregnyl 500iu shot and now I will be only on Crinone gel per night. I asked FS for more but she said I don't need more because my levels of progesterone are good, pffff, what does she know, just give me more, ;p
Also I was told no frozen embryos for me We really understood yesterday that they were freezing one... now I am worried about the quality of the 2 embryos that were transferred, I don't remember how many cells or anything else. I just remember that FS said she was very happy with the embryos as they were blastocyst and she pointed at something and said that's what becomes the placenta, I think I was too excited about taking pictures of the embryos that I didn't listen what she was saying... oh well...

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception June/July 2014

CatyO - yay for transfer going well... Boo for pain, I'm still in pain from EPU 😞

1MP- bleeding finally stopped can start Clexane tonight & we are back on track for transfer on Saturday...

Clinic sent me an update all the embryos are still growing well & progressing along so it looks like we'll transfer 1 freeze 6 which is excellent...

FS did ultrasound today due to the pain I'm having so it turns out my pain is due to internal bleeding round my ovaries this is normal apparently for people with my condition... So hoping the embies keep going well & freeze well as I'm not sure I can deal with pain like this every month... Ended up having a full week off work sick with pain as it got so bad I had a slight temp too but that's resolved itself... 😞 holding off starting panadene forte though...

FS says I'm responding really well she was sure I would be a freeze all with much worse side effects... Hope that means it keeps going well... 😳

Will look into the acupuncture thanks ladies for the tip... 😊 xx

CatyO, congratulations on your transfer! Two embryos on board! So sorry you had none to freeze though, that is disappointing. I also had none to re-freeze from this thaw cycle. Also, I have painful transfers too. It can be shocking can't it? Once I thought I would pass out.

Chellico, hope your pain eases really soon. That sounds great about all your frosties (and your transfer!).

Sarah, that is wonderful that things are going well! You deserve it.

Hi, sorry all I can tell you is 5,000 and even the 10,000 was out of my system in 8 days:-) I would assume 500 would not take long to get out of your system but I'm honestly not sure. GOOD LUCK hope you get you BFP xxx
