    hi all,

just a quick hello from a first timer. dh and i are doing our very first IVF this month. just got back from CD 9 test and scan, we only have 3 big follies so far. don't know if this is good enough for EPU, we're waiting for FS to come back with BT result and decision whether to increase the dosage.

    have a good one all!

Ruth- Go those good follies! They are spot on for today. I'm willing them to keep going strong and healthy. Hope you feeling better and reassured today.

CurlyGirl- Hi and welcome. Hope you have found your 1st IVF cycle to be easy so far and that your FS comes back with some good answers for you. Fire away all your questions here. There are lots of amazing, strong women here who will support you all the way.

    Hugs all

    Hi everyone,

Bel my lovely friend, thanks so much for the PM and for thinking of me. I have been thinking of you too, and am so happy all is going great for you. What fabulous news ? great embies, wow, 9 and 10 cells already. They must be strong ones. Sounds you have a perfect batch, and to have almost all that were fertilised continue to grow so strongly. This must be the month for you!

Curlygirl - Welcome and good luck to you too. Hope things go well for this cycle.

Smithy - Hope you are tracking along nicely!

Ruth - Great news, congratulations, those embies sound wonderful. Fingers crossed all goes well. Are you doing a blastie transfer?

Cuddlepie - I hope you are keeping well.

21 - Don?t lose hope, it may very well be too early, fingers crossed for you.

BecD - Welcome back, and glad to hear you are looking forward to your FET, wishing you all the luck in the world.

LNB - I?m sorry I can?t help you either, I have only ever done HRT FET cycles. Best of luck for your ET tomorrow.

Jodie - How are you going? I hope you are taking care of yourself.

Babytruj - Good luck with your FS appointment next week.

AFM - I am a bit behind here, it has been a crazy past few days. EPU went great, out of the 19 follies I had, 12 eggs were retrieved. I was happy with that, assuming there were quite a few that were a little to immature. Of the 12, 9 fertilised, YAY! As of today 6 are growing well and are between 7 and 8 cell. This is a record for me, I am over the moon as I have been stressing about having an embryo quality issue. While some of them have a small degree of fragmentation, the embryologist has said she is so much more happier with this batch than the last, and they are better quality than the last. Phew... She had also thawed the last 2 embies I had from my last cycle. She had thought that they would be suspect but they have picked up and are looking good. So a total of 8 in the mix. Grow embies grow! Fingers crossed I get to Wednesday and to a blastie transfer.

I had a great EPU day, came out of the general fine and have had only minimal pain, though a very swollen belly. I almost feel like new and am hanging out for ET on Wednesday. Bring on the TWW!

I hope everyone else is well and smiling and love to all
    xx

    hi girls

Bel- thankyou for the support im now waiting 2 sleeps to see if AF shows as I have never been late and hoping to god I am as Im not going to test again unless she doesnt show. I have been so tired although i am not doing anything! still slighty aching breasts and had a full on headache yesterday so im praying and praying as I just want to be able to tell my wonderful partner "IM PREGNANT!" as we all want to do. im also feeling a little queezy at the moment and my last pregnancy i was sick as a dog for 8 weeks! Also good luck to you on wednesday, it seems to be a big day for the 2 of us! I personally cant wait to get through all this testing and start ivf as I truly believe we need some help.

babydreamtime- also thankyou for the support. Im trying not to give up hope but its just so hard seeing that damn blood every month! gross i know but its all it deserves to be called! hope she doesnt show on wednesday.

Next month I will be charting temps as i funnily enough have never done this! also alongside with my monitor i will use OPK's and check cervical mucous so hopefully all this combined should tell me when i ovulate as i still havent been able to pinpoint it although i am regular as clock work with my cycles and have strong pms symptoms so i must therefore ovulate!

good luck everyone with all your endeavours! I look foward to the day we are all in the "pregnant after LTTTC" forum
