Wow Bel - what great results! 8 fert is a great result Am keeping everything crossed that things continue to go well for you.

I'm back after a bit of an absence. AF arrived over the weekend and I feel strong enough to try another FET cycle. The last month has been a rollercoaster with being diagnosed with depression, going on meds and just dealing with life but am slowly learning to take one day at a time.

    Hello all!

BecD - glad to hear you are starting to feel a bit more on top of things...and YAY for your next FET!

I can't remember enough to do anymore personals... sorry.

AFM - Our 5 eggies, 4 were mature, 3 fertilised and when we rang yesterday they were developing nicely - 2 x 4 cell and 1 x 5 cell. I'm going to work today - : ( but DH is staying at home - it's been emotionally draining for us over the past few days. I can't wait to get my next embie update this morning. : )

    Good morning all,

Ruth- Hi my friend. The little ones are going great. Looking forward to your update this morning too. I hope you and DH are both ok after I know what must have been a stressful weekend. Take good care.

Bec- So glad to see you back here and really happy to hear that you are feeling strong enough to do another FET. Make sure you lean on us when you need to. Have been thinking of you.

Will chat to you all soon. My sis is driving me home now as DH is on his way home.

    Have a good morning,

    Hugs Bel

Hi Ruth, looking forward to hear some good news about your embie report. I have to agree that this is the most nerve-wrecking time for me usually as well, its like hearing a verdict after all these time jabbing and EPU etc...I hope you are having a good result.

Bel hun, so glad to hear that your go that many eggs fertlized. Hope the little ones keep growing and one of them is your baby soon.

    Hi to everyone else.

    hi all,

just a quick hello from a first timer. dh and i are doing our very first IVF this month. just got back from CD 9 test and scan, we only have 3 big follies so far. don't know if this is good enough for EPU, we're waiting for FS to come back with BT result and decision whether to increase the dosage.

    have a good one all!

Ruth- Go those good follies! They are spot on for today. I'm willing them to keep going strong and healthy. Hope you feeling better and reassured today.

CurlyGirl- Hi and welcome. Hope you have found your 1st IVF cycle to be easy so far and that your FS comes back with some good answers for you. Fire away all your questions here. There are lots of amazing, strong women here who will support you all the way.

    Hugs all

    Hi everyone,

Bel my lovely friend, thanks so much for the PM and for thinking of me. I have been thinking of you too, and am so happy all is going great for you. What fabulous news ? great embies, wow, 9 and 10 cells already. They must be strong ones. Sounds you have a perfect batch, and to have almost all that were fertilised continue to grow so strongly. This must be the month for you!

Curlygirl - Welcome and good luck to you too. Hope things go well for this cycle.

Smithy - Hope you are tracking along nicely!

Ruth - Great news, congratulations, those embies sound wonderful. Fingers crossed all goes well. Are you doing a blastie transfer?

Cuddlepie - I hope you are keeping well.

21 - Don?t lose hope, it may very well be too early, fingers crossed for you.

BecD - Welcome back, and glad to hear you are looking forward to your FET, wishing you all the luck in the world.

LNB - I?m sorry I can?t help you either, I have only ever done HRT FET cycles. Best of luck for your ET tomorrow.

Jodie - How are you going? I hope you are taking care of yourself.

Babytruj - Good luck with your FS appointment next week.

AFM - I am a bit behind here, it has been a crazy past few days. EPU went great, out of the 19 follies I had, 12 eggs were retrieved. I was happy with that, assuming there were quite a few that were a little to immature. Of the 12, 9 fertilised, YAY! As of today 6 are growing well and are between 7 and 8 cell. This is a record for me, I am over the moon as I have been stressing about having an embryo quality issue. While some of them have a small degree of fragmentation, the embryologist has said she is so much more happier with this batch than the last, and they are better quality than the last. Phew... She had also thawed the last 2 embies I had from my last cycle. She had thought that they would be suspect but they have picked up and are looking good. So a total of 8 in the mix. Grow embies grow! Fingers crossed I get to Wednesday and to a blastie transfer.

I had a great EPU day, came out of the general fine and have had only minimal pain, though a very swollen belly. I almost feel like new and am hanging out for ET on Wednesday. Bring on the TWW!

I hope everyone else is well and smiling and love to all
    xx

    hi girls

Bel- thankyou for the support im now waiting 2 sleeps to see if AF shows as I have never been late and hoping to god I am as Im not going to test again unless she doesnt show. I have been so tired although i am not doing anything! still slighty aching breasts and had a full on headache yesterday so im praying and praying as I just want to be able to tell my wonderful partner "IM PREGNANT!" as we all want to do. im also feeling a little queezy at the moment and my last pregnancy i was sick as a dog for 8 weeks! Also good luck to you on wednesday, it seems to be a big day for the 2 of us! I personally cant wait to get through all this testing and start ivf as I truly believe we need some help.

babydreamtime- also thankyou for the support. Im trying not to give up hope but its just so hard seeing that damn blood every month! gross i know but its all it deserves to be called! hope she doesnt show on wednesday.

Next month I will be charting temps as i funnily enough have never done this! also alongside with my monitor i will use OPK's and check cervical mucous so hopefully all this combined should tell me when i ovulate as i still havent been able to pinpoint it although i am regular as clock work with my cycles and have strong pms symptoms so i must therefore ovulate!

good luck everyone with all your endeavours! I look foward to the day we are all in the "pregnant after LTTTC" forum

    Hi everyone
WOW ! It is a big week for everyone this week - especially Wedenesday .. Good Luck to everyone

21TTC - I bought a "maybe baby" ovulation microscope and that worked for me - so do a little research and see what you think of them .. I did see a cheaper version on ebay for about $25.00

Im still waiting on Af so I can begin my Puregon - its ready and waiting in the fridge

I went to see a accupunture lady today who is registered with the Chinese Board (etc etc) and she told me she went to a seminar yesterday on Fertility and combining chinese herbs, accupuncture and IVF - they have a 91 % success rate ....... big statistics .. has anyone tried herbs with IVF ? Im looking for that success - what to do ....

    Hey Everyone

I'm still trying to keep up with everyone And all the different procedures

Wouldlovebubba - How does the Ovulation microscope work? I've been going to my Gymea every month for an ultrasound to see if there is an egg there...
I can't believe the success rate with acupuncture. I am looking into this, but hate needles - I guess I better get used to them, I'm only at the start of the treatments for TTC, and I know there are a lot of needles to come if it doesn’t happen naturally.

21andTTC - I started charting my temps, but found that they seemed all over the place, so gave up for the last 2 months, especially as I have been going to the doctor every month around DPO 12/13 to see if there is an egg there... I'm going to start again though, as it will be nice to try and get a feel for what is going on with my body.

Bel – great news with your embies

AFM - I have been on Chlomid for 3 cycles now.
First cycle, I was on 50mg, and I had a nice egg. My LH levels were negative, So I had a Pregnyl Injection. BFN.
2nd Cycle, I was on 50mg, and there were no eggs, and the doc said that AF would possibly be late, as my uterus wasn't ready (It was 1 week late).
This cycle, I am on 100mg chlomid, and waiting for the scan on Wed.... Bring on the eggs.

    Afternoon All,

BDT- Glad to hear from you and so happy for you that things are going well with your little embies. You must be over the moon that this cycle has produced great results for you and that the 2 frosties are going strong as well. I wish I could say I felt like new!!

21- Hoping you don't have to pinpoint ovulation and this cycle is the one for you.

Ange- Gee those stats sound great. I haven't tried any herbs but am right into acupuncture. Would be interested to hear what is involved though.

Janet- Thinking of you for your FET tomorrow. Hoping everything is going well and your lining in nice and thick for the little one to settle in. Looking forward to hearing how it all goes and seeing you in the TWW thread on Wed.

Smithy- My sweets, have you heard back from your clinic yet? Have been thinking about you all afternoon.

AFM- My BB's are KILLING ME!!! Could it be possible that somehow..magically...I fell pg since EPU. I don't think so as DH as been away since then..LOL!!! Just the drugs I know..but they are BAD.

Also..sorry if TMI, I've had discoloured discharge since EPU. Started freaking today that I may have an infection down there somehow from EPU. My FS rang me to chat with me about it and he said it would be highly unlikely, that probably cause I had some bleeding after EPU, it could be old stuff coming out. I'm just really uncomfortable still. Have the same feeling as before EPU...kind of bladder infection feeling and the normal post EPU period pain feeling. I just wanted to go into Wednesday's TF feeling tip-top. Seems my embies are doing great, but my dud body not so!!

Hope everyone has a good night
    Hugs Bel
