hi ladies, thank you all for your kind words, it's good to know i'm not alone in this roller coaster ride!
i just went for EPU this morning and we had all 3 eggs retrieved. so the small one did catch up after the trigger :D fingers crossed now to have them all fertilized and hopefully we can do ET on monday or wednesday.

I'm just feeling a bit down today. For some reason I think that we are going to get a BFN... I just have a sense... I know I'm only 4 days post transfer but I just have a "feeling". I have a few questions that I was wondering if anyone could answer:
Generally - how long between a stim cycle and a FET? (we have just one in the freezer though it's not a great one)
Also, I know implantation generally occurs between 6-10 DPO... so does that mean it still happens 6-10 days past EPU?
Smithy - hope your jabbing is going well and that AF makes her final exit properly now!
Curly girl - glad to hear your EPU went well! All the best for your growing little ones - let us know how your embies are doing!

Ruth - I'm not sure when implantation occurs in IVF, I was googling it yesterday myself and still have no idea. Think it might also depend on what day post EPU the ET is done.
I have just had a FET the cycle immediately after a stim cycle. A lot of people will say to wait a month and have a natural cycle. Our FS said we can try a FET cycle straight away because if I don't ovulate or things don't look right in the scan, they will cancel the ET. She said it was also depending on how you feel emotionally. We went ahead with it as my scans were good, I had a 22mm follicle which showed normal ovulation and am now in the TWW. My age was also a factor as I don't want to lose any month if I can help it. Hope that helps.

Ruth, I know you are with SIVF, generally they won't allow you to do a FET straight after the stim cycle, you need to wait for 1 month in between. You can do FET back to back. But worth to ask FS if you can.
Regarding implantation timing, trigger time in a stim cycle is considered O time, if your have 5-day blastie transferred, than the implantation time should be about 1 to 4 day after your transfer date based on you theory. I hope that makes sense...
Try to relax and stay positive hun, the time I got pregnant, I absolutely felt nothing, it was only like 3 days before b/t, I had this sudden feeling in my lower tummy like embie trying to snuggle deeper and it only last about 3 seconds. That was about 10 days after ET.

im now 4 days late with a negative HPT this morning I have no pms symptoms other than heavy breasts sore pointy nipples and VERY tired. i dont know whats going on. i dont believe its stress as i have been stressing for 2 years! i will do a blood test next week. i have HEAPS of CM and ive never been late, ive read online some ppl dont get a positive til a week or more after missed period but i dont like those chances. Im just so upset as I at least had a quick reliable cycle now thats even been taken away :( im also scared i have an ectopic as my right lower abdomen is tender and i had really bad lower back ache for 2days, day of missed period and one after but now today and yesterday NOTHING! no aches or cramps i swear i ovulated. has anyone got any advice
PLEASE HELP!
21 - i have been thinking of you - why dont you go to your local gp and make sure all is well, especially if you think it may be eptopic .. dont worry about your reliable cycle - it may be really good news - so please put your mind at rest and get seen by a doc xx
AFM: Did you ladies experience pain on in your groin when you were on puregon (im on 300 ) and it is my 3 rd day, i feel pain either side - any help ??
Hi 21 - I agree with wouldloveabubba - take yourself off to your GP on Monday and ask for a BT. It will put your mind at ease sweetheart. I hope that you are taking care of yourself - big hugs to you.
Sorry wouldloveabubba, I can't actually help you out with your question as I have not had puregon, only Gonal F. Not sure what the difference is. Hope your pain goes away soon.

Ruth - I actually did our FET cycle the month after the stim cycle. I am not too sure about implantation in a transfer cycle, I am guessing that it would be around the same timeframe as you mention below. I do hope that you are not feeling too down, try to keep your hopes up won't you. I know it is easier said than done - been down that road myself on quite numerous occasions. But keep on trying to stay positive - I am thinking of you.

Wouldloveabubba - i was in total agony the whole time on puregon (borderline OHSS, so the pain was in my ov's rather than groin)? I was only on 125mg - and had some uber-reaction to it. hang in there, only a few more days of injecting?
21- i agree that stressing can muddle AF, so try to relax. best to get a BT.

As my dear friend Lulu said, am in hospital with OHSS...not the best experience to be honest!!
Am HUGE! In quite a bit of pain and so uncomfortable. Weight is slowly creeping on and I really do look like I'm about to give birth.
I am praying that I am pg and that's why this isn't getting any better. Will not be out before next week and if I am pg...especially with twins, this could be a long stay for me.
I pray that I am pregnant, but that I am well enough to leave hospital soon.
I have a great FS who is monitoring me very closely.
My gorgeous sister bought me in her computer and mobile wireless cause weekend viewing is so so so bad!!

I know I've missed lots of you but still trying to get to know everyone at the moment.
Me - I'm still overwhelmed about my EPU on Friday - 17 eggs when they were only talking 7-9 from the scans. It thought for sure that half of them would be immature but 15/17 have fertilised. The embryologist chose to do ICSI due to the sample "not prepping up too well". Can anyone tell me whether that will mean a big increase in our bill? I was too stunned to ask at the time!

hey guys i got the witch sunday arvo being 5 days late! couldnt believe it but so glad. Although my right lower abdomen is tender and my lower right back is aching i think maybe i have a cyst or something would this have made AF late? My DP and I went to dreamworld yesterday hoping it would get my mind off things and we would have a nice day away from TTC ( although there were preg women EVERYWHERE! i couldnt believe it at a themepark full of rides, what would they be doing?) anyway wallah! came home and i got it kinda peeved though if it had come on time i would be CD 5 already instead of 1 oh well! still going to gp have to wait though bit short on money this week and DP has to go too so will be quite a bit. hope all is well with everyone, surely someone has to get knocked up soon! come on girls!

On tra_k, congrats for 15 eggies fertilized. Re. ICSI, I don't think it will make too much of a difference. I am with SIVF, the difference is about $330 and I think most of them you can claim it back. So rest up and just enjoy your good result....

AFM, I have decided to delay a cycle till mid November start after FS changing event, but I am feeling quite confident and positive about it and hope everything will be on track from now on. I am now just waiting AF now, suppose to be Wed but given I have took Provera for 4 days and stopped, it might delay. So as much as I can't believe it, I am just wishing AF can turn up sooner so I can get on things...

WouldLove Bubba ? Scan showed a nice fat egg, so we did lots of BD ing on Wed and Thurs and the weekend, and just hoping. I was a bit sore after wards ? I think the doc bruised me when she was scanning, and the BD-ing didn?t really help But all in the name of aiming for that BFP?. Now we just wait to see:D
21TTC ? When I was late, the doc always told me to wait a week after AF was due before testing, and I also think the more you think you are positive, then the later AF will be? It sucks, but your body tricks you for wanting so badly?.

I went to a baby shower on Friday morning, and you know what?s worse than seeing babies and pregnant women (which I'm actually ok with, but 21TCC - I know what you mean - pregnant women are everywhere), is everyone asking you when it?s your turn, and when you?re going to start trying. They said "be careful you don't catch the baby bug" - I was like "Bring it on" If only it was that simple!! We have only told a few close friends, as we don?t want the whole world knowing, but it seems lately that everyone asks me when we?re having babies. It?s like ? we?re trying, but these things aren?t so easy for some of us?

Babytruj - good luck with the lap. Like I said, I am glad I had mine. It put my mind at ease. The only thing was AF was quite heavy afterwards BUT that's a small price to pay for peace of mind. Now we have about a week or so until ovulation so I will :pray: that I am able to do this naturally. I might only give it a couple of months and then move onto IVF. I am kinda in two minds. I think maybe I should just go straight to IVF as I am over the threshold and the year's end is fast approaching. Hope your lap gives you some answers or erases some of your worries.

Our IVF cycles must be very different, I am on day 5 of injections then in 2morow for the scan and then EPU from there I guess, I wonder why I am not having a blood test - oh mayby 2mrow after my scan -
I am so sore in my ovaries - have to stop and sit down just to get a break - it feels like they are burning sometimes, oh I hope that is good news and not one of those cycle's that FS mentioned where I am too stimulated and I have to go home with no BD'ing for 2 weeks - PS has anyone ever BD in those two weeks - I wonder what would happen ... Cant wait for 2mrow -

Shelbee - I know what you mean about trying a few more cycles, or moving to IVF. My theory is try it step by step. But my husband thinks whats the point, lets move stright to IVF. We'll see what the lap says. The doc did say that we weren't allowed to TTC that cycle, but you can be more fertile for a couple of cycles afterwards, so we'll probably try a few months after the lap, and in the new year we'll look at IVF if we need to.
I also understand where you are coming from in the "jealousy" department. My work colleague told me she was pregnant, and although I am so happy for her, I was like Why Why!! They aren;t even trying - it was a bit of an accident. I also havea lot of friends who are pregnant/just given birth, and it is hard, but keep thinking that my time is near, and it will be my turn soon...

Sarah, my understanding, the answer is no. However, they encourage people to be in a healthy weight range. I had the reverse problem. I am a bit underweight and had to fatten up (to my DH's pleasure).:
