Arohanui, it's a bit of a steep learning curve when you start out, isn't it? It took me a while to learn them and I still encounter new ones at times (after almost 5 years on the forums). If there are any particular ones tripping you up, just post them here and we'll explain them. I'll see if I can find a webpage that has a more comprehensive list for you though.

thank u so much !!!! I am going to be starting the pill on monday we have been told this is good so my cycle can be monitored. then I pick up injections and looks like hopefully my first egg pick up will be 5 th november. It is all happening very quickly which is good. Does anyone have any symptoms they could tell me about the injections? also i am just having gas and air and valium and pain relief for the egg collection and the fertilized egg return any one else had this the same way? ;-)
miloro, I was so emotional when I woke up from my first EPU that I burst into tears (lol, it was my first general anaesthetic and I was terrified, so I was overwhelmingly relieved to actually wake up!! I think it was also a lot of pent up stress about doing IVF doing our first IVF). The nurses didn't know what to do, so they called DH up. It was the only time he was ever allowed to see me in recovery. The others were much easier, I promise! If it makes you feel better, I read an article recently that said that frozen cycles can sometimes be more successful than fresh cycles because the stims put a lot of stress on our bodies in the fresh cycles, whereas our bodies are more calm for a FET. FX for a great fertilisation rate! Lol, it's funny, my SIL said exactly the same thing to me (about the multiple IVF) recently after it took her 2 cycles to get a BFP.
Arohanui, the FSH injections are usually pretty good - the only s/e (side effect) I've ever had from them was fatigue and that was only for one of my cycles. All my EPUs (egg pick-ups) have been done under a light general anaesthetic, so can't help you there. I've never had any meds for the embryo transfer, but I know some (mostly American, I think?) clinics prescribe valium.
