miloro, I'm sorry to hear your E2 was so high. How did you go this morning?

N2L, let me know when you want to call O for the list. I'd go with Saturday, even with the CM. I usually dry up right after O, but last cycle (and this one to some degree) I kept getting wet CM after O... Makes me wonder about my estrogen levels...

vic, being a FET, I'd keep on the progesterone, etc. Every so often, a FET results in a BFP with low, slow-rising hcg levels. Under any other circumstances you'd expect a m/c, but with FETs it still has a good chance at success. The thawed embies can be a little slow off the mark some times but still produce healthy bubs. FX you're just waiting for a late (but healthy) BFP.

Krikkit, sorry to hear AF is being a witch. AF is always like that for me, so I don't particularly notice any difference after a treatment cycle... Sorry to hear there's such a long wait for the new FS. I got lucky when I changed and happened to walk in (he was just down the hall from my old FS and I literally had to walk past to exit the building) just after they'd had a cancellation, so didn't have to wait the 6 weeks I was expecting. (Lol, I had to wait 5 weeks for the lap instead...)

Afm, I still have a quarter of a cake and no-one to share it with (DH doesn't like it and DD is too young to eat much). Oh, what a terrible burden to have to eat it all myself!
In other news, ugh, I'd forgotten just how "lovely" the progesterone pessaries are... Lol, and it's a lot harder to find half an hour to lie down twice per day with a toddler running around!

    *edit*
Krikkit, yes, sorry, I got that from your earlier post but had to post the list without edits and come back later because Little Miss was trying to tear my keyboard apart... She's a danger to laptop keyboards everywhere!! She actually ripped the left Ctrl key off my work laptop last year and it still tends to fall off intermittently...

Just quickly, Juniper, do you think you E2 levels are high (hence more CM?)
I have had bad metallic mouth this month which indicates increased E2. It would make sense.

Let's say Sunday was O day. Makes little difference anyhow

anyone got some reading I can do on CoQ10, dhea and hgh - I am wanting to go in full bottle info so I can smack my FS in the face with it. I was thinking of starting some CoQ10 in the mean time I just don't know where I can get it in a high enough dose? any suggestions?

@juniper - yes my dd is the same, I am missing my back space, ctrl and home key... little terrors...

Hmmm just called clinic and they won't let me do FET cycle yet, as I'm already day 11, bummer. Now have to wait till AF comes around, so still at least 20 days away... I just wanted to have it over and done with. Now more time to worry and another AF to look forward to. LTTTC sucks soooooo much.

N2L, yes, that's what I've been wondering. I know estrogen is supposed to stay high (not as high as the surge, but still high) during the LP, it's just meant to be lower than progesterone ("dominance" is about the relative quantities, not the absolute levels). With my slow-rising and fall-back rise BBTs and the CM hanging around past O, I've been wondering if my estrogen is still dominant for the first few days of the LP instead of the progesterone taking over immediately... My estrogen was very high just before O this cycle too (it was 1999 on the morning LH started to surge, which my FS suggested might mean more than one egg since he expects up to 600-1400 for a natural cycle, but he never did a scan to check).

me4ever, sorry to hear they're making you wait.

Krikkit, I am getting mine from iherb at the moment (US online company). The brand is healthy origins. I get the 200mg ubiquinol (the best type of coQ10) and take two of those and the 200gm ubiquinone and take one of those. It helps keep costs down a little. For a bottle of 150 ubiquinol, it is $126.85 at the moment (usually $289) and the ubiquinone are $46.99 for 150 (usually $147).

Krikkit, I'm sorry you had a bad day yesterday. I hope tomorrow is better. I have my fingers crossed that the next cycle is the one.

Vic, keep up the pessaries and we'll all keep our fingers crossed for your BT.

I just got the call from the clinic. E2 has gone up again to over 23,000 but the doc said the results are contradictory. Hormones say I'm overstimulated but scans and current health are showing there is no problem. He said they could cancel outright or reduce the trigger and freeze any embies. We said let's go wi pick up and freeze. Doc said he is happy with that, it is what he would have advised. It could be that this high is normal for me. Just frustrating that the one time my body responds to TTC it overdoes it.

    Epu on Thursday morning.

N2L, I was looking at those yesterday. How do they go with the shipping (ie how long and price)?

miloro, I'm glad to hear that both you and your FS wanted the same option. GL for Thursday!

Thanks girls for the advice on starting my pessaries again and on FET's being a bit slower. I guess because I got my BFP 12 days after transfer (was a stim cycle) and my HGC was 678 it showed up straight away. Yesterday I was 10 days post transfer, 15 days post ovulation I was expecting a result but maybe its just too early? So I will keep them up. I hope I have not affected it not taking one since yesterday morning

Thanks N2L. So, with the ubiquinol, you still take the same dosage as you would with the ubiquinone? What is the benefit of the "better" type then?

cut and paste from the interwebz ....

CoQ10 comes in two forms - Ubiquinone and Ubiquinol. Ubiquinone is more common and widely known because it is the form most commonly sold commercially. Ubiquinone is the completely oxidized form of CoQ10. When taken, this supplement is actually metabolized within our bodies where it becomes Ubiquinol.
Ubiquinol is the strong, antioxidant form of the aforementioned CoQ10. When purchasing CoQ10, if the bottle doesn't mention which form it is, Ubiquinone or Ubiquinol, it is usually Ubiquinone as this is the cheaper of the two forms.
The problem arises with aging in many people; the ability for the body to metabolize is reduced significantly over time and many people will find that it's difficult for the body to break down Ubiquinone into Ubiquinol. There-in lies the difference between the two supplements. Though it will come at a greater cost, taking Ubiquinol after the age of 40 is a good idea.
Ubiquinol supplements are in a form that has already been reduced to being a strong antioxidant. When taken directly in this format it works more quickly and can be delivered in lower concentrations without worry that it's not being metabolized properly.
Researchers have suggested that anyone taking these supplements (one or the other) can gain the greatest benefit of CoQ10 by combining them. The dosage would of course need to be appropriate as it includes both forms of supplement.

So, if I want to keep taking the one my acupuncturist supplies (which also contains alpha-lipoic acid and vitamin E, along with 150mg CoQ10), I'm trying to work out how I'd make a 200mg tablet work with that. Would I still take 2, taking me up to 700mg per day or switch to only 1 of the ones I get from acu and 2 of the ubiquinol, taking me down to 550mg (and also halving the ALA and Vit E)? (I'm currently taking 2 of the ones from acu and 2 plain CoQ10, all 150mg each, so 600mg total.)

Looks like AF is on her way. Which actually works out perfectly as that means EPU may be the Monday of my 2 weeks holidays. I cant believe my first EPU was October 18th last year and it looks like this one may be 15th October. Lucky transfer 7 *sigh* I always have more hope with fresh cycles. Not too sure why.

    Hi to everyone.

two weeks waiting, trying to relax, but I can't

I had my transfer on this Monday, I don't know why last night I woke up on 2am and then I can't sleep, this morning, I feel depressed. Anyone was telling me emotion can affect my hormone and it is not good for the implantation. I was trying to relax, but I can't.

    Vic, yay for good timing!

Rosemarry, don't fret the emotions. During our last fresh cycle (#5), we had so many bad things happen during that month that I was verging on a nervous breakdown and yet that was our first IVF BFP (which gave us DD). I was an emotional wreck, but it didn't prevent implantation at all!! It's absolutely worth improving your emotional state for your quality of life, but please don't think that you're harming your embryo in any way with your emotional state. That sort of thinking will only make you even more miserable.
