rosemarry - try to remember it's not your fault, things just happen. It's really hard I know, but try not to blame yourself. Have a good cry and hopefully the FS will have something new to try when you go to your appointment this week. Look after and be kind to yourself xxxx

    I'm really sorry Rosemarry

It's really hard and it hurts so badly, but as Myturn said, it's not your fault. Try to remember that.

Be kind to yourself, maybe pamper yourself a little. I really hope the next one is the one that works for you.

    Take care x

Jo, sorry, I can't help with that. I've never used provera. However, I know progesterone can cause cramping, so it may just be a side effect?

Rosemarry, I'm sorry to hear the b/t confirmed the BFN. It's normal to feel like you've let down your partner (I'm sure we all feel that way, I know I do) but the other ladies are completely correct when they say it is NOT your fault. You did nothing wrong. The outcome of IVF usually boils down to luck and no-one can make it a success - we just do as much as we can and then hope we get lucky. When you're ready, let me know what cycle day you're up to for the list.

As for our next cycle, I'm having a long hard think about what we want to do. I suspect November may be too early (for egg quality), but I'm worried January may be too late (for endo). I've probably got about 3 weeks to work it out or it will be too late to do November anyway. I just need to be clear in my head about protocol options and find out how receptive my FS is to trying something different. If he digs his heels in about wanting to do the long synarel protocol, then I will also give some thought to going elsewhere, because I just don't think that's the best protocol for DOR. However, if he surprises me and suggests (or is receptive to) antagonist, then I think that could be a good starting point for coming up with a plan that we are both comfortable with.
