Smithy, sorry things haven't turned out as you expected. I really hope you can still go to transfer though.

Quick hi to everyone else, especially Sushee with her lovely comment at the close of the previous thread . I'll have a more detailed read tomorrow.

Smithy, I can understand why you are feeling so low about this, but try not to be too hard on yourself. Hopefully one of those eggs will be super-egg and that will be all you need. Just remember that the first cycle is often an experiment to see how your body responds - which is why some of us get OHSS and some of us get very few eggs. But in the worst case scenario, what your doctors learn from this cycle will give them a better idea of how to get a better outcome with the next. Although, I will be praying that you don't need to get to a next cycle until you are going for your next bub.

Shan, a big congratulations to you.

Me... feeling excited and hopeful as the reality of being on another FET cycle sinks in. Our timing, even though it was the pill stuffing up again, was brilliant. My OI drugs are started on day 4 - which was the day we saw the FS. This timing should see us just sneak in a transfer in the holidays - which I'm really excited about. I'm probably feeling more prepared for this one, physically, mentally and emotionally than I was the first time around. Our little caterpillar really did teach us a lot.

Smithy, so sorry to hear your news about your eggies. truckloads of hugs...

    BIG hello to everyone

bW, hope you manage to sneak transfer in during the holidays. Going back to school will be a distraction during the TWW too.

Me, We have our appointment tomorrow for our ultrasound to see if we are ready to start our cycle. I might be staying with my parents if we start injections, my mum said she will give them to me for the first 4 days or so. DH has to come home to work for a couple of nights then will come back to pick us up and hopefully have our second u/s all going well. Will catch up with everyone when I get back.

    Wow, so busy in here.
Smithy- im really sorry things didnt work out. Its not fair. Did they say why or give you any answers?
Ellie- im glad your taking some time out. I just read about a suspicious melanoma you have??! I hope you're ok. When do you find out? Thinking of you. I hope its just a yukky mole, and nothing too advanced or serious. I hope the time out that you and DH are having makes you stronger and ready for all the future faces. And make sure you have some fun BD'ing!!
BW- glad to see things are going well for you guys and its great that you're about to start again. I think second and third time round we were way more ready for things. Good luck
Shannon- congrats, things sound really good.
