EmeraldStar - don't think I am preggers.... no, no symtoms. No AF symptoms either. I usually have a regular 28 day cycle - my system is obviously just struggling after the stim. My FS wanted me to have a month off so this will be my second bleed since my chemical pregnancy.
Sonyalouise - We are having the same wonderful weather in NSW - glad it didn't ruin your weekend and you had a good time away. for the scan tomorrow.
Juniper - great news - I hope the levels keep going up (whatever that means - as I have to say i don't really understand what you are all talking about there - I assume it has something to do with a hormone reading?) but anyway hope all stays positive for you
Mitf - I'm in a natural FET - so trying to figure out ovulation for me at the moment - doing the pee tests and once we predict it we can book in a FET. Just hope I don't miss that surge. I have another scan tomorrow to check how things are. Still think it is a little early - but maybe a few more days?
Tantee - we are only putting 1 back (we have 2 frozen) and I'm praying the first one thaws OK but as this is only the 2nd transfer we will only put 1 back. I think if we have to go around more than 4 times then we might start to think about putting more than 1 back - but I really don't want twins. I can see how my thoughts on this may change tho if I have to go through all this for much longer - I don't know how you all do it - but I guess you all just do. Sorry to see you got a BFN reading. I have a feel I will be a month behind you in a fresh stim cycle - I know not a positive attitude going into a FET - but we shall wait and see.
Emerald - it is good to read so many BFP's - it is nice to be reminded that IT DOES HAPPEN! I also kind of feel sad like why is my name not there - and then I also think Gosh I hope I will be there in October like you said. I am truly happy for all those listed tho as, without checking the details, think they have all had to endure more than what I have so far and I am glad finally the first hurdle is over for them. Look after yourselves ladies and good luck for a happy & healthy pg.
Good luck for your EPU on Monday - I hope there are lots of eggs for you - but hopefully you just need the one!
Coral - GL for this cycle. I hope it produces lots of eggs and that one of them will get success for you.
Edie - Don't sweat the small stuff is good hey - I have not read that for a while - tho I think you have to already be mildly positive to have that outlook - I am still not sure why I deserve the challenge of this IVF thing and quite frankly think I would be fine without it. I have never been one for patience and this certainly is not teaching me any new ideas/feelings on that. The only positive spin I can think from it is that our baby will be sooo much more loved if that is more possible than parents who get to conceive naturally - OK that doesn't sound right - but maybe somehow appreciated more and considered more of a miracle than those who are lucky enough not to endure our pain.
Emerald - Did you hear from Taureen - you are right we have not seen her for a bit? You added a late congrats - did she get a BFP? Nice news if so.
Goddvibes - Welcome!
Ladies - I know I have missed so many of you - I hope you had a nice weekend and the upcoming week is good to you. GL to anyone getting results or starting a new cycle or anything exciting this week. Hope to read some more good news posts by the end of the month!

I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend. Personally, it went way too fast for me and I can't believe that I am sitting back at work again, aargghh!
Airline - sonyalouise is right... So yay!!! we can be cycle sisters . I also take my last pill on the 29th and then next up after that is a baseline scan and BT this Friday. If all goes well than I am scheduled to start FSH on Wednesday, 7 October 2009. Such a long process isn't it? Oh well.... patience is a virtue and I guess we will get there eventually! Do you know when you are due to start FSH?
Emerald Star - It has definitely brought me some perspective so thank you again . Makes me feel like it will happen one day for all of us... It's funny how during this process someone can just say something that helps and then you tend to hang on to it during those tough times! GOOD LUCK with you scan today and I hope you get some good results!
Goodvibes - My DH also has fertility issues. He has a very low count (2million), poor motility and morphology. Not sure if this will help or relates directly to your situation but our FS told me that after fertilisation (we have to use ICSI) that during the first 3-4 days, the egg does all the work (we had 9 going strong still at this stage) and then the sperm takes over for the next couple of days. We lost 6 eggs here and were only able to freeze 2. One did not survive the thaw and we did a FET with the other. I'm not sure about why you loose eggs on the thaw but here is an extract from my patient handbook:
Failed Embryo Survival
There is a 20% failure rate. It is rare for all embryos to survive freeze/thawing however usually at least one survives in good condition. In around 15-20% of cases none of the embryos survive and the transfer must be cancelled.
I just know that every couples situation is different and that you should definitely speak to your FS if you have any concerns and push for answers if need be.
Lastly, but most importantly... GOOD LUCK with your 2WW and try not to stress yourself out too much. I know it's easier said than done of course!
calin - Hello . I'm not sure about the answer to you question (sorry) but good luck on your cycle and hopefully it will be your last (due to getting a BFP of course)!
mtif - Thank you and it would be great to join the October Wall of Fame, he, he! On my 1st stim cycle I got AF 2 days before the BT was due and then it came 4 days late during my next cycle. I hope you get her soon so that you can get back on track again.
Tracy - Were are you up to with your cycle... Are you doing another stim soon?
sonyalouise - The headaches are bad aren't they? Mine seem to have gone away now though, which is good. GOOD LUCK with your scan today.. is it to see how many follies you have?
Nix - Thanks for the well wishes... Good Luck with the scan and catching that surge !
Anyway, better get back to work, he, he! Hope everyone has good results this week with where ever they are up to!

Nix76 - Firstly, i'd like to say your turn will come...just like it will for all of us. Hang in there. I also noticed you are not sure when people talk about levels going up..this is called your Beta Hcg levels which determine the state of your pregnancy. This "number" should double every 48 hrs for a great pregnancy, it can triple or so...and women can also have viable pregnancies even if they don't double every 48 hrs..just depends. But Usually all is good when doubling...confused??? Ask your nurses next time to explain properly..i don't know if i've explained it well enough.
Coral73, mitf and everyone else
AFM - TODAY Had EPU 10 eggs colleccted now lets wait and see if any make it to blast.
My clinic call at 11am everyday and give you updates on your embies...now i can't wait till tomorrow..i will also be told grade and quality tomorrow...i'll let you know. ET will be on Saturday...God willing!
Emerald Star - Congratulations that's fantastic! I got 10 eggs last time too. I hope you are doing ok... put your feet up and rest up. with the updates and getting lots to blastie.
Nix76 - Mitf was cycling with Taurean and she posted that Tuarean got a BFP!!
So exciting isn't it !!! To think they were where we are and now they have moved on the pregnancy threads....I really hope they ALL have H & H nine months....all i ask is they let us know what they had..Boys, girls, twins....
Yeah for AF!! She may be 8 days late but at least she is finally here we can start moving ahead. I have called the clinic and I am booked in for my first BT on day 10.
Coral - I agree that the weekend went way to fast.... back to the grind. Thanks for the info on failed thaws. We are heading that way now so it was good to know at my end too.
Nix - Sounds like you are a lot further along in your FET. you find success this time. Further to EmeraldStar's explanation ? Beta HCG is the pregnancy hormone that your clinic is looking for at your confirmation BT. Some people get a low reading that doesn't end up making it (a chemical pregnancy). The clinics are usually looking for a reading over 100 that should double every 48 hours although some start a little slow before they finally get their racing stripes. Incidentally it is the Beta HcG hormone that makes you need to pee all the time when you are first preggers. The presence of it irritates your bladder which cause you to feel like going to the toilet more often even if your bladder isn't actually full.... which I thought was interesting when I first found out!
Calin - did you get any more details about your scan? SonjaLouise explanation sounds like it might be on the money. I did down reg without the pill. I had a BT to check things were ok before starting my injections so my first scan was actually to check my follies.... hope I didn't confuse you.
EmeraldStar - don't work too hard.... make sure you save some chores for DH.
