Hey Emerald,

I think it depends on which clinic you go to as to what the school of thought is best i.e. 2 day transfer v's blastie.

I asked about blastie's at Melb IVF as they do a lot of 2 day transfer's there whereas Monash in Melb do blastie's.
The nurse I spoke to said that some thought is that it is better to get an emby back where it should be as soon as possible whereas an argument for blastie is that it makes the emby as strong as it can be before putting it back in. She also said some places are good at freez & thaw and some are not as good. So I think it just depends what clinic as to what is best.
I think as much research as they have done we are all further research for them and every case is probably slightly different to the last. I think it is all still a bit of a mystery as to why some make it and why some don't regardless of what stage they were at. I do recall her saying that they very often just do not know why they don't make it. I think at the end of the day the emby and your body have to be ready to take it all on and when they are and the stars align then magic happens.

Hope your magic is coming this round!
