Juniper - I am so sorry to hear that your little miracle wasn't meant to be. On the upside I guess you got one step closer and it shows that the acupuncture and herbs are helping your body understand what you are hoping it will do. All the best for your Stim in December. Hopefully all your planning and patience will pay off then and you will get a Christmas miracle.
Tantee - again I am so sorry to hear about your BFN. I hope you enjoyed your wine and AF comes quickly. GL as your plan for your next stim later this year.
EmeraldStar - try to stay positive hun.... You never know maybe twins! It is pretty common for about 50% of eggs collected not to fertilise, divide or degenerate. We had 10 eggs on my first IVF and by day 5 only 4 survived (1 transferred & 3 in the freeze). GL with the 3 stragglers and FX that the other 2 manage to get you UTD.....they are A grade after all! Also, I din't have Orgalutran - is that instead of Synarel?
Lise - I hope you are enjoying your reduced hours. Having extra time to yourself and to go to the gym must be a treat! 6 follies is a good start but FX that you get lots of new little ones spring up before Thursday.
Melttc - I had some minor period like cramping after egg pick, otherwise no side effects and bounced back very quickly. My FS sets the dosage for of my drugs and the nurses just provide support and advice. I wouldn't think the nurse would have prescribing rites to set dosage.... while your dose sounds a little low your FS is probably being careful to avoid OHSS and will probably increase it if needed after your first scan. I only had 145 iui Puregon on my first IVF and got 10 eggs. Other ladies end up on much higher doses and only get a couple of eggs... you never know everyone reacts differently.
SonjaLouise - 8 follies at day 5 sounds excellent to me. You may grow a few more but it is likely the dose increase is will make sure those currently under 10 make it over the line. I had done a couple of IUI's and my clinic was pretty sure how my body would react so I only had one scan 11 days after beginning puregon and I had 12 follicles ranging from about 11mm ? 15mm which resulted in 10 eggs and then 7 embies.
Nix - it's amazing how different our clinics can be. Mine pinpoints O via the hormones in my BT's, first one next week on day 10 of my cycle.
Loops - welcome back. Glad to hear you had a great time but shame about the flu. I hope you are feeling better soon.
