Hey girls, don't know if it's still the Pregnyl in my system, but I'm starting to feel a bit more hopeful now. I shouldn't have been testing before 10DPO, but did, with 2 FUE's.
8DPO FUE HPT, very very very faint grey line
appeared somewhere between 6mins & 1hr after.
It became darker over time & is now easily visible.
9DPO FUE HPT, very very faint grey line
appeared between 5 & 6mins after.
It became darker over time & is now very easily visible.
10DPO CC (CrystalClear) HPT, very faint pinkish line after 5-10mins &
has been getting darker over time, is clearly visible after 20mins.
So each has become slightly darker over time, hubby says I'm reading too much into it, but if it was Pregnyl still in my system, then it would be getting lighter & lighter.
I don't know what to think, time will tell. I'm putting them on FF as -'ves as they didn't appear within the 5mins.
I'll get another CC from the chemist & test again tomorrow morning, if no lighter, then I'll have my BT on Tue instead of Fri, as nurse said I can.
I'd started to lose hope last week, but am regaining it again, hopefully for good reason, I don't know whether to cry or not right now, as it sounds promising, well thats what I keep telling myself.
What dyu think?
P.S. Sat was the anniversary of our blind (double) date 12yrs ago, what better timing, here's hoping...
Oooh, I hope this is it for you. Please get your BT sooner rather than later and I hope everything goes well.
Just a note: my two negative HPTs were still in the bin the other day and when I emptied it out, I noticed they had both gone to very very dark positives. I know the package insert says not to put too much store by that but this has NEVER happened before with any other HPT I've done.
Fingers crossed for you Shell! Cant wait to hear about it - plus Im thinking mel could do with a partner because we are supposed to board the pg ark in pairs!

Just a Q. for anyone who's used Crinone gel in their TWW and I have to warn there is Far TMI coming;
Ok here goes;
I have been getting these, sorry no other way to put it, big clumps of stuff when I wipe that I am assuming is the crinone. It is quite thick and (very clumpy), Sorry again, sounds terrible I know. Has anyone else had this? Sometimes it is even a little discoloured almost a bit like old blood stained. I'm worried that something is wrong.
Oh yes, it's the Crinone Curse. Very yuck and happens to everyone who is on Crinone. I had stuff (TMI alert) coming away for weeks!
Shell, it does sound really good for you. I made a deal with myself not to POAS this cycle coz from ET to BT is only 9 days. I figured that that isn't much of a TWW, and I should be able to go the distance.
But today I am convinced that it hasn't worked, as I always do (and I'm usually right!) so am thinking I may succumb by Thurs. I shall have to see.

Shell ~ all my five BFP's I have gotten I used 2 - 4 HPT's every time and the first couple of BFP's all looked like them. That last one fo yours looks good to me. I agree they would be getting lighter rather than darker.

Not a gret weekend for me. DH was in a foul mood all weekend. It always happens the closer we get to the "making baby" part.
Anyway as for my scan today
I have lots of follies. she did not tell me how many because they are all under 10mm and she said that you dont know how many of those will actually turn into bigger follies or if any will reabsorb.(anyone had that happen?)
So my dose has been upped to 350IU(from 200) and I go back in on Thursday for another scan.
Man I hope there is progress by then.
The longer the process takes the more antsy martin will get.
My Endo lining was 8.
Blue ~ to answer your earlier question - I have not more frozen bubs left so have to go back to IVF
Ali ~ I had the same problem with crinone gel I know its gross the things we have to go through - If you get a BFP then be prepared to continue with the gel, they don't want your baby to go cold turkey on progesterone

Thanks Ness & Sush, that puts my mind at ease, it's not so much the grossness (if that's not a word it is now) it's just the stress of not knowing whether it is normal or not. Is even the discolouration normal??
Sush - I know how hard it is to stay positive and I think sometimes it's easier for us to be negative just so we're not setting ourselves up for a fall at the end. But you have such an added advantage knowing that your precious embies already made it to day five really strong & healthy. There's no reason why they shouldn't continue. I'm sending you more inkstick: even though I think you've got it in the bag!!!
Ali ~ yes discolouration is normal the gel that you are seeing was not used by the body and is coming from the uterus so it brushes past the lining on the way out
thanks so much girls for the positive vibes. I guess after 7 cycles without even the shadow of a BFP, I can't help but be a negative nelly.
Funny story: I just tried to book a post cycle review with my FS, and his receptionist said that the notes he's made are that I shouldn't make an appt with him until after my BT (which he's never done before) for a OBYGYN appt! He's got a really wry sense of humour, so I think it's his little playful joke on me for the month!
I will try to be more positive. And will probably POAS on Thurs!
