Miracle, just checking in. I had the BT today and guess what!?! They've scheduled me in for the AI tomorrow!!!! Couldnt believe that I was ready already thought it would be Tues at the earliest. DH is suprised also and is now worried about the "boys" performing tomorrow hahahahaha Anyways ladies I will keep you up to speed of what happens tomorrow, wish me luck!
Vanessa was reading some of the past posts and noticed you had insemination already so you are one step ahead of me. Just wondering if it hurt etc any advice? Am having mine tomorrow...
Thanks Miracle, we didnt end up having time to do an ultra sound cos my hormone levels indicated yesterday that I have a follicle ready to go so the nurse gave me the trigger and I managed to do that (for the first time) myself aswell It just happened that I had gone to my parents place so I was about 40 mins away so my DH went picked up the trigger and all the stuff and I gave it to myself when I got home.
Good luck with the BT! What dose are you on at the moment? I was on 30 then went up to 50.

HI miracle just got back from the AI and it was nerve racking but it went by quick (only took 15mins). It was exactly like a pap smear and that was the worst bit but the insemination catheter I barely felt. Here's hoping! How's your bt go?
hi Mia....good to know it didnt take vary long.....everyone tells me its just like pap smear...but the nurse told me the cervix can sometimes go in a shock after the procedure. and i have had tht once when i had a levovist scan.......

with puregon my dose was 75 to start with !!! had the BT this morning, nurse hasnt called back yet so will wait......
Cool you must be close what day are you in your cycle and when do you usually O? We were told to BD yesterday to help with the AI and we'll prob BD again today just incase we didnt catch the eggie with the procedure. Felt a little crampy last night but the nurse told me that I would so not trying to read too much into that. I took the day off from work yesterday just so I could relax prior to and after the procedure. I was a little nervous so I just kept myself busy in the morning and then once it was done went home and lay on the couch for awhile. Crossing fingers!
i have my scan tomorrow and also a BT. the nurse said they will probably schedule the AI on friday or saturday !!!! tht came as a surprise to me ...i thought thts too early in my cycle ! i hope it is saturday,its gonna be difficult for me to take friday off as its very busy.but the eggie wont wait will it.....if it has to come on friday....it will.
Mia just a quick question....wht is the scan like? i've never had one before....is it a simple procudure ? i am wondering if they insert anything into the vagina ....sorry this might sound stupid but just being over cautious. i had a levovist scan before and i never want to have anything like tht again or even near it....it was a horrible experience.....
and also did your clinic ask you to not have intercourse a few days before. my DH read somewhere tht he needs to abstain from ejaculation for 2-3 days but not more than 5.....
Hey Miracle where are you at in your cycle? When do you usually O? It could be due to the hormone injections as to why you might be a little early I was a couple of days earlier then "normal" CD14 and I usually O CD16 but as you said the eggie wont wait! I'm assuming the "scan" is the Ultra sound? If it is then yes its internal but its not painful at all just uncomfortable but hey all these types of things are uncomfortable when you're not used to showing your verjayjay to everyone! hahahaha I guess we need to get used to it cos when you're utd you have to go in for exams all the time. Also your DH is correct its prob best to obstain for 2-3 days before the BIG day so he has enough good quality in there so he's right on the money Good luck with the BT and scan tomorrow and crossing fingers its sat for you! Let me know if you need any other info ok. I'm feeling good still a little crampy? So thats a little weird, have my next injection tonight as you have to have your next shot Day 2 (Day 0 being the day of AI) and the next one and last one is on Sunday then I have a BT on Monday to see if I O'd properly and then its just a waiting game!
i am at CD8 only !!!!!! tomorrow will be cd9 ....thts reaaaallly early ovulation for me. i ovulate around CD16 as well. anyway it must be the injections. i have heaps of CM and i have other signs of O as well....
yes i can imagine the scan is going to be uncomfortable....hhehee we should really get used to ...atleast when you have scans after you are pregnant there is some sort of satisfaction,atleast you are PREGNANT....and hope to see your baby.

hey i told my other boss as well,who is a female and i told her i am having fertility treatment and she was ssoooooo supportive...god bless her ! i felt so good after talking to her. i havent really told this to any of my close friends ,somehow i just cant....dont know why..even when i was telling my boss i was actually crying and felt awkward but she was very very understanding.
oh the scan wasnt bad at all.....waiting for the nurse to call me now.
she said there was one big follicle and few other small ones,but said will have to wait for the BT results to confirm anything....

AFM - going well my injection yesterday was a little painful but I think its bcos I'm used to the pen rather then a proper syringe so now it seems a little more thicker or something but got through it no dramas
Only have one left on Sunday and then off to my BT on Monday to see if I O'd. Been feeling cramping on and off not sure if thats "normal" or if its cos the eggie is making its way down and is fertilised??? Here's hoping, I dont usually get O pain at all so its very strange. Let us know what the nurse says
yes it was the ultrasound you were talking about. as you said it was only uncomfortable not painful. and the lady was lovely, i think tht makes a difference as well.
i have to take pregnyl inj today.
hope your cramping is due to fertilisation or implantation....fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!! did you have the same previous cycle?
i usually have ovulation pain so right now i think i am very close to ovulation.
and what are these injections you are taking after the insemination? the nurse did not tell me anything like that...??

The injections you have are pretty much the same as the trigger one except a lower dose. I got The trigger pack and then 2 more packs and thought WTF is this for but the nurse said its basically hormones to help with conceiving, like I said the same thing as the trigger but lower dose thats all. Had to work the syrange out at first but wasnt too hard, the pen is definately easier tho. When's your next appointment?

my next appointment is tomorrow morning. Dh has to give his sample first and then i got in around 10am.....offcourse Dh is coming along .
i think i will get the next 2 packs of injection tomorrow after insemination....
hope your cramping is for a good reason. yes i was reading on the net, a lot of women have cramping throughout after the IUI and they said it was because of those injections...women have to go thru sooo much and men get away so easy.....
DH has an office party tonight and we had a big fight yesterday. i warned him not to drink....i said its just the previous day you'll be drinking alcohol think what it'll do to the sprems. i am taking all these painful injections only for you to go and drink alcohol????????? finally he promised me he wont.....i was so furious at him .
