I hope you have better luck Miracle.
I had my trigger Sunday the 6th and got AF yesterday 15th. I wont be going on to another cycle for now due to $$ so I'll continue to try naturally for a few months and hopefully I wont have to but if nothing then retry IUI around Sep

hey guys - so sorry to hear abt this month, hoping next month brings better luck.

afm, today is 14DPO - decided I'm not going for a blood test, do not want to hear the dreaded words "sorry hun but you're not pregnant." AF is probably right around the corner though - I can feel it...This is the 2nd IUI and our doctor said that if this is unsuccessful, then we should see him and I think the next step is IVF, which is an ok alternative to not being pregnant this cycle - it means that my chances increase next cycle by a lot. A bit nervous though - if I thought IUI was invasive, I think IVF is a lot more hectic - more injections, the transfer etc - we'll wait and see and let you know...

good luck with ur next cycles!

    Hi Michal
I hope your IUI #2 is successful, yeah I think IVF is a lot more invasive. Do you know how much that would be? Just thinking maybe next road I should save for is IVF rather then IUI.

    hi

Michal....have you taken a test at home??? AF is still not there, so you still have a chance !!!
just to refresh my memory.....michal is there male factor or female factor in your case?? my DH has poor morphology, and my FS also thinks ICSI is the option for us, but we have been pressing for IUI coz IVF is very invasive.so just curious to know why your FS suggested IVF as well. just makes me go crazy, dont know if we are doing the right thing.if 2nd IUI is not successfull then we might also go for ICSI.

Mia i think IVF costs something like $7000 but you get a fair bit back from medicare. 1st cycle out of pocket is about $4000 but each subsequent cycle (if at all you need it ) you get back more from medicare.

i am starting next IUI today,so ready to pinch myself again ...........not looking fwd to that part.............

    hey all,

first - answers to your questions:

    1. not sure how much IVF costs as I no longer live in Oz
    2. we have female (PCOS) factor and male (morphology) factor - but the FS said that the male factor isn't so severe because everything else abt DH's results came back pretty perfect.
    3. AF reared its ugly head 10 days ago

My reaction to AF was probably the best it's been for a few months. I think it was because I knew we were changing the plan of action this month. Even though I thought we were going straight to IVF, when I spoke to the FS, she told me that instead of taking clomid, I'd be taking gonal-F injections. I started taking it on cd6 and finished last night. Tonight I take ovidrel, and then we have an IUI on Wednesday. I had a scan and bloods today - was expecting lots of follicles, but only 1 18 mm on my right ovary.

Would love to hear how your cycles are going, hoping for BFP's all round!

    Hi

I am also on my 2nd IUI and i have the insemination scheduled for Wednesday. So Michal we we be together in the TWW!
We have male morphology factor, and i have been told i have polycystic ovaries but no PCOS which means i manage to ovulate on my own.
If this IUI dosent work then we r heading straight to IVF but probably by the end of this year.......still want to give nature a chance!

Good luck with your IUI Michal....

    Mia how are you going?
