Mich no way! I can't believe the terrible luck we all have! I had a kidney infection ( like a uti but peeing blood and no burning) so dtd for us was limited to sat and sun instead of thurs, fri, sat Sunday. I don't think even 1 of us has had an incident free month!

OMG it is getting worse it is like we are all jinxed this month!!!

Tasha - That is great news about the loan that must be a weight lifted off you.

Saffy - Sorry she didn't mention your missing AF but I bet she is off hiding with all your missing eggies!

Mich - You poor thing what shocking timing. I say give DH a major amount of pain killers and see how he goes. Do you live close enough to the clinic that he can do his part at home?

Joeve - You poor thing a kidney infection is no fun even without the burning.

AFM - So according to the psychic I'm going to have boy/girl twins...... when I'm 43!!!! Apparently I'll be going to Sydney or Melbourne for the procedure. She told me lots of other stuff too of course, I don't know how I feel about it, I'm not sure how much I connected with her. One interesting thing she said and at least one other psychic I've seen said the same thing is that I am going to write a kids book! Who knows!

    hi girls,

our bodies all sound like they need a kick up the backside !

joeve: ouch for you, i hope you are covered with the bding you managed to do and i hope you get those antibiotics asap !

mich: gosh how frustrating, i agree dose up DH with strong drugs and get the job done :-)

sunbeam: how is that egg of yours going ? i guess time will tell if the psychic is right !

saffy: come on af, gosh what is she waiting for ?! your holiday is something nice to look forward too :-)

tasha: confusion for you with the opt's, it will be a relief for you to get onto a more closely monitored cycle

afm: not much news, tomorrow im seeing the gp for the ivf referral and see what my prolactin is doing at the moment then im having a scan because my old FS gave me a form and i figured i might as well have it done to take to the ivf dr next week, i'll be interested to see if any follicles look like they are doing something.
so here is my current thinking......do i try this cycle and hope we avoid ivf or do we not try in case it works and its a bad egg and leads to another 9 week miscarriage and puts ivf back a few months, thoughts anyone ?

This place is just a disaster zone isn't it?

Oh Joeve - you poor thing take really good care of yourself with that kidney infection. I don't want to scare you but I ended up in hospital with one years ago!
Sunbeam - interesting psychic reading - twins sound great, but in 3 years - that's not what you want to hear?!? Are you going to have any more tests to see if you did in fact ovulate this cycle or assume the best?
Tasha - hope that line keeps getting darker and I'm glad you found a nice cooperative bank
    Saffy - c'mon AF!!

AFM - where do I start? I did end up having the IUI Now for my long, drawn out story, feel free to tune out, I just have to write it- ha ha!
The clinic called 10 minutes into lunch with my friend who'd just got back from 6 months overseas saying to send DP in ASAP. DP said no way could he drive with his back pain. So I had to get home (40 mins away) and get a 'sample' back to the clinic by 3pm. I cut lunch short, then all the parking payment machines were broken and it took forever to get out, picked up a specimen jar, got home and DP was passed out from all the pain killers! Had to wake him up and he said he felt so nauseous from the drugs he needed to eat first but could only stomach hot chicken in a roll. So off I flew down the shops but the lady in front of me at the bread shop was ordering the entire shop and I was silently panicking! I force fed DP but when he went to do his thing the guy arrived to fix the aircon and was ringing the doorbell and calling DP's phone - timing argh! I bet he thought we were actually doing something fun! I made it to the clinic in the nick of time and although the sperm count was much lower than usual, it was still ok considering.

Someone once told me to make a baby you put your legs in the air and have fun! Bahahahahah

Hi Minnie - sorry I was writing my long post when you posted.
It's a really tough question. Will the results of the scan help you make a decision? Are you on any meds this cycle or natural? I'd be inclined to try but I have no medical backing for this statement!! Just a lack of patience...

oh mich: what a nightmare, can you laugh about it now its done ? i can't believe all that went wrong for you !

this is a natural cycle for me, i have scripts for clomid but had planned to not try this cycle, i guess if the scan shows things are on track it will be hard not to try but that also means using the progesterone etc i just don't know

OMG it just goes from bad to worse! Mich you are so going to get pg this time, that is a story you are going to have to retell at your child's 21st You must have been cursing every step of the way. I hope poor DH gets extra special care for his super heroic effort it can't have been easy in so much pain, doped up on drugs and with all the distractions, he did well.

Minnie - I say go for it. We are all such a catastrophe right now I think there is something cosmic going on. This next egg could be just as good as any you'll get in IVF, unless you feel a month off will do you good.

AFM - Strong O pains came back at 7pm so maybe it happened tonight! I wonder if it is yesterday's new moon messing us all up, not that I can see it on the Gold Coast with torrential rain for the past 2 days? Who knows!

Surely in all this chaos someone gets a prize baby?

Hey, you know how people say "it'll happen when you least expect it". Maybe for all of us, this is that time!! Hope so
Yeah I had a good laugh about yesterday last night. Especially when I kept kissing my partner on the cheek cos I was so grateful for all his efforts and he would say - "I'm trying not to vomit and that's not helping!" ha ha

Hopefully things will be calmer for everyone for a while. Sunbeam - that rain looks crazy, stay safe and Joeve - get well soon!

Hi girls- hopefully the tide is turning for us and our disobedient bodies- I got AF today after waking to no signs whatsoever and being very depressed she suddenly appeared out of the blue. Nice one AF!

Mich- that is an unbelieveable story, your DH rocks performing under pressure! Hope it was worth it with a bfp coming your way!

Minnie- ivf won't weed out any eggs that would make it to a pregnancy, maybe have a month off if you need a break, or just try, I don't know really! x

joeve-are you feeling any better?? Hope so x

sunbeam- wow, so maybe you are going to write a kids book?? I think she's wrong about the 43 thing- its our year this year!

tasha- your ovaries need a kick up the backside, hurry up eggs!

Hope my AF;s arrival heralds a new start for everyone- eggs popping, opks darkening, kidneys healing, embryos implanting

tasha: any sign of ovulation ? i know how hard those long cycles are

sunbeam: you stay safe in all that rain, its been bad here today too

minnie- I start jabbing CD3- tomorrow and have a blood test and scan thursday next week. That will give them an idea of where my follies are up to, then depending on that, keep jabbing and scans until its ok, usually its not much longer though for me although some people gp for a while. They think my egg pick up will be week of 5th Feb so I have taken that week off work. Its all explained to you when you organise your cycle nad they give you a piece of paper with every step of the way listed so you can refer to that as it is a lot to remember.

*TMI alert*- my AF is weird as, really brown and 'stringy' not overly heavy but definately a period- strange, will put it down to being on the pill for a month. Hopefully it will be my last for aaaaaages
