Tasha and Joeve - I just had a good old laugh at the "DIY insemination" talk!! Oh, and Sunbeam - I just realised that smiley must be "falling off the chair laughing"

That's great about the EWCM Tasha, just a pity your body doesn't want to give it to you in a normal cycle!! Just wondering - is it the semen or dtd itself that causes the thrush to come back? I'm just thinking in relation to using the applicator. I love that this is the only place in the world we could talk about this stuff and have everyone understand the desperation

Pity about the nausea Minnie but hopefully it's a really good sign that the drugs are working. Can I ask what drugs you are on and how much? The nurse I saw commented on what a low dose the FS had put me on. So now I'm worrying about my first cycle being cancelled before I've even started. Yeah, I'm insane

Andie, how frustrating! That's really strange. Did they say whether your estrogen was at a good level for ovulating?

Well, it seems every time I jump on here and complain about nothing happening on the OPKs, things start happening! Must be the good vibes It's nowhere near positive but getting to sort of medium.

mich - the BT just measured lh & prog levels, no mention of estrogen levels. apparently if they lh is over 20, you are ready to ovulate. if prog is up, you have already ovulated. both were low, so i guess fingers crossed todays BT shows something, although the seretec was slightly lighter today. who knows?! hoping your opk's are getting closer for you today.

tasha - you poor thing, ewcm! how frustrating. so tempting, but think of the delay...

morning to sunbeam, saffy, joeve & minnie.

Andie - Good luck for a definitive answer with the blood test today!
Tasha - are you counting today as 1dpo? Does this mean your IUI cycle will start slightly earlier?
Joeve - Oh no, there can't be another missing egg! Are you going to have a BT to check?

Who ever thought ovulation would be so complicated?

    hi girls,

joeve: what is going on with you ? after this cycle what is your plan ? sounds like you need closer monitoring to have a better idea of what is going on with you ? clomid doesn't seem to be sorting things out for you

mich: fingers crossed for a positive opt for you today

afm: i had my scan this morning have a number of follicles, sizes 19mm, 18mm, 17mm, 12mm, 11mm and some smaller ones, depending on my blood test results from today we are probably looking at epu on thursday or friday. its not huge numbers but hopefully it will be enough to get one good one from. the lady said there is no point cancelling the cycle because i may just respond the same next cycle, i may just be a small egg producer. so fingers crossed the 11mm and 12mm pick up in the next few days before collection and i will have 5 follicles.

    Hey girls

Andie, sorry you are not getting a clear answer. I wouldn't have a clue about temping, never tried it, probably never will. How did today's BT go?

Joeve, put down the poas!! Bummer about the sore bb's, but ya never know....

Mich, you must be about ready to O yeah? Hope it's a good one! And yes, my IUI cycle will start a little earlier

Minnie, Good scan results and great news about the estrogen levels. I am crossing my fingers tight for your follies!

Sunbeam & Saffy, any news from you guys?

AFM: I am still so bummed about not DTD. It's such a waste! And all that EWCM, Wtf? I have never seen ewcm before like that, and I had more this morning. It's like it's a sign or something I am calling the FS anyway to see what he says about it. Devastated

ETA: Just got off the phone with nurses at FS office and they say go for it. She said that it may aggravate the thrush, but since my symptoms were minimal I should be fine. I don't know, cant decide. If it wasn't for all the ewcm, I wouldn't have a doubt. Far out, such a hard decision.

I guess you have formal permission to get the applicator out and "baste" away Tasha! He he
Minnie - ooh, exciting about the follicles! It looks like it's all going ahead

Nothing is happening here, OPK line is the same, maybe lighter? I think my body has forgotten how to O without drugs!! But now I kind of want the surge to hold off until Wed so I can at least have the possibility of trying this month. I'll be out til all hours tonight and tomorrow (I'm graduating tomorrow - yay!). DP turns into a zombie by 8.30pm at the latest so if we haven't dtd by then, it's not happening! Men!

minnie - good scan result i reckon and you still have a few more days for those smaller ones to hopefully catch up. i dont usually produce many eggs either, and the nurses have always told me sometimes it can be a case of quality, not quantity.

tasha - soooo tempting... maybe you could dose up on the cranberry juice and go for it?!

mich - congrats on graduating, well done. hope you are planning a something special to celebrate? (aside from ovulating?!)

    hi everyone else.

not much happening here, had another bt today to check for ovulation. i will probably get results at my scan tomoz. maybe our ovulations have all synchronised via this thread and we will all get it together?

    Hi Girls,

Tasha - If you decide to go for the home insem I can give you lots of tips . Like I wrote before a lady on fertility friend had a baby girls from a CD65 O so it is totally possible. My FS said it does not matter how late it happens its just like it is all on hold until the hormones catch up.

Andie - That is very strange that the bt is not pointing to o because it sounds like everything else is suggesting it's happening. I hope it is close. Good luck with tomorrows scan.

Mich - I hope O does wait till wednesday for you. What dose have they given you for when you start IVF? Minnie's dose is about half what I was put on, there seems to be a lot of variation between clinics. Congratulations on graduating

Saffy - How you doing sweetie? When will you be able to POAS and know it is not the pregnyl?

Joeve - Weren't you using OPKs? I know a surge does not guarantee O but it would be pretty unlikely that you didn't. I hope the reassuring bb's appear soon.

AFM - Apparently the drugs do affect me, mum says I've been a bit snappy on the phone the last few days. Still going well with the diet and exercise and on advice from my brother resisted weighing myself for 4 days and . . . . nothing not an ounce of change! I'm putting it down to the bloating becuase I know how hard I've worked and I'm not quitting! Jabbing is going well. have managed to not give myself a single bruise yet though it's far easier on the low dose for IUI. This cycle seems to be taking ages!!! Been working hard on the job hunting.

Sunbeam yay for not bruising and booo to the scales.

Yes I used some opks then forgot a few days and didn't get a positive or near positive at all. Last month I got a def positive and no ov so who knows what is going on.

Joeve - That sucks. Stupid clomid never worked for me either! Are you going straight to IVF, would you not consider IUI first?

My FS doesn't recommend IUI for us as DH has some dodge swimmers so we are on to ivf.

Fair enough. At least with IVF they can pick the very best swimmers. I often thought about the embryologist chasing them around the petre dish grabbing them by the tail, tricky little suckers

Just a question - If clomid makes you ovulate, but you still don't get pregnant, why is that? I ovulated every time, but no luck. And now I know My tubes are fine so what gives!?
