Ferrals, sorry to hear about the cyst - at least that explains things and hopefully it will go soon. I'm surprised to read that they won't let you go to day 5 with only 6 eggs. I only ever get that many, and we always go to Day 5. Anyway, I hope the fertilisation goes well and you get the option but if not, a good strong day 3 embie can do just as well (that's how my niece was born!) so fingers crossed. Don't blame you for feeling meeh- that's IVF for you - full of ups and downs and unexpected turns. We all understand - hang in there and stay hopeful xx
Nice one Sunbeam - I can understand you still not wanting to get too excited, but surely the fact that the doc could see a heartbeat warrants at least a little cheer. Yay!

Things just goes from bad to worse we have 3 of 5 injected fertilised as one was not suitable to be injected with DH sperm so if 1 of the 3 is good for TF monday it will be at 2:45.
Its all down to 3 i am not real optimistic actually i am devastated this cycle is going to be a flop.
Ferrals, I'm so sorry things haven't gone as well as you would have hoped. It is devastating - we have so many hopes riding on IVF and somehow, having that intervention in a way makes us more confident that things might work, but there are always hurdles to overcome that are difficult to deal with. Just remember it only takes one good embie. I know you have the PGD to consider so the more you have the greater your chances but let's just hope that all three keep growing strong and that the one they transfer will be healthy. Don't give up yet, you're still in with a chance and we're here for you x

I am pretty sore and uncomfortable i put on over 2kg since wednesdays trigger and was getting worried but i lost 1kg over night so i know its just fluid retention and it will settle down.
Otherwise i am ok just trying not to be to upset and tell myself i can do another cycle in August and we will do things differently next time.
