saffy: good to hear you had a good weekend away and cleared there air, ttc long term is so stressful, especially on those closest too you. when do you start your stimulated cycle ?
hi all,thanks for thinking of me...1st embryo defrosted survived the thaw,so still got 1 in freezer,had acupuncture before & after transfer,got another acupuncture session tomorrow..had some cramping & the slightest bit of spotting when i got home(probably from the procedure)but of course hoping implantation,so have spent most of my time since transfer laying down.
WOW Matthewsmum- sounds great, I hope so much it was implantation, FX for you and your little one xxxxxxx
India'smum- hmmmm, good symptom of pregnancy!! Hope yu can rest up xx
minniemouse-I'm on the pill and start injections on the 10 march i think, need to do a lot of extra shifts to help the bank balance in the meantime!

india'smum: great to hear things to be progressing well, when will you have another scan ?
saffy: do you work full time ? how do manage working around your ivf treatment ? cause you don't know exactly when you need to go into the clinic in advance right ?
afm: day 3 of clomid, quite down about it all, im really not sure i can move onto "full" ivf, at the moment im only thinking as far as the injections and still dtd at home, will re think things after that if no success
thanks ladies...saffy-remember you can claim some money back from medicare & maybe health fund if your in one(know it's not all that much,but every little bit helps)...minniemouse-hope 'o' comes round quicker this time for you...afm-seen acupuncturist again,i didn't know bananas were bad for you after transfer,were always learning things aren't we?also she said if i get any spotting or cramping she'll mix me up some concoction which may help..

minniemouse- I only work 3 shifts a week, but do extra shifts if its convenient. We decided it would be impossible to work more and do ivf, my workplace has been very understanding and my NUM is supportive and gives me time off at short notice. I have no idea how people work fulltime and do ivf, esp people who go back to work straight after transfers etc. Someone I work with who is 40 or 41, did the injections and dtd, and it worked for her, so maybe that would be good for you xxx
matthewsmum- I've already got my rebate! It came really quickly, and I've factored that in, thanks for the reminder. Why are bananas bad? I've never heard it and eat them a lot, although maybe not as much now they will be scarce! Are you still getting cramping? I have a feeling this one will work for you xxxx

saffy-i was surprised about the bananas as well,she said it was something to do with being a damp food and the spleen doesn't like damp foods,and the spleen plays a big part in the blood in your body,she also said to stay away from avocados & nuts....craftymummy-sending lots of 'o' vibes...afm-not cramping as much,more of a tingling sensation??might be all the acupuncture i've had this time,no spotting..Need to shave my legs,but to scared to bend over..went shopping yesterday & when bend over to get something from the bottom shelf,got a bit of a sharp pain

AFM ~ Nothing new to report. Its our 4th year wedding anniversary today, despite everything that has been happening we will celebrate that we have each other and the wonderful 4 yrs we've been married. AS soon as DH is out of his neck brace we are going to go away for a nice weekend, before he goes back to work. We did manage to get one quiet round of B'Ding in which was hard with DH's brace etc (sorry if TMI) but he was keen to try and because I was ovulating we had a go LOL. So hoping once will be enough - highly doubtful but you just never know I guess, can always hope =)

afm: nothing to tell really, day 10 or 11, can't remember which and can't see my own ticker, anyway nothing is happening yet, i think it will probably be another 12 + days until i ovulate
hi minniemouse,got some stuff happening ,clinic have said it could still go either way,cm had red streaks through it,then turned a brownish colour,then i had some light bleeding on wiping,it seems to be gone now & cm is back to a creamy colour.Had cramping on & off as well.Seeing acu tomorrow,she is going to start me on a herbal mixture..Dont think i'll poas ,don't feel strong enough to see another 1 liner at the moment...are you still considering acu for your long cycles?...thinking of you all

minniemouse- you are day 11- (I can see your ticker lol). My cycle is just in the waiting stage, on the pill, nothing much else, can't even try naturally cos I'm on the pill.
Can't believe you have to wait so long to O, how frustrating!
matthewsmum- I hope they are positive signs, the fact the spotting has stopped is excellent I think, could be a sticky one, I am crossing my fingers very tightly, when is your blood test? Don't poas yet, it is too soon and you don't want the disappointment esp if its a false neg. xxxx
Loops- imagine if you get utd from BDing with DH in a neck brace! Great story to tell your kids!! Enjoy your weekend away when you go! xxx
