India's Mum - watch this one closely! I did not want to mention the ectopic, because I did not want to scare you, but since you did... My experience was exactly the same, slow dripping, no clots, not much pain, kind of dizzy. Had 2 scans and two doctors were telling me it is a miscarriage. The problem is, with hcg this low, they really cannot see anything anywhere. However, one big difference in your situation is, your hcg DID double in 1 day. That is a good sign, mine was only going up about 50% every 2 days. We all know some women experience bleeding in early pregnancy around when the period should show up, let's hope this is the case and bub is OK. But I would insist on blood works and a scan as early as possible. They say at 2000 something should be visible.

Thanks Luna. I did remember your story and it was one of the reasons I was concerned enough to go to the ER. I am having more blood taken on Monday and a scan when my levels hit 1000 (or earlier if they have concern). The bleeding has now almost stopped and I feel queasy most of the time so I'm hoping Monday brings good news.

afm :crying: well got a test a first response and well BFN so nothing suprising there then !
I so wish I had not given in and tested but I just needed to know as it was kind of driving me crazy all these phantom symptoms ! so no idea if I am day 7 of a new cycle or day 37 of my old one go figure ! really do feel this is the end of the line for me ! :wall:

craftymummy-sorry it was a bfn,our bodies are cruel with symtoms sometimes...they'll put me on hormone replacement tablets for next cycle if this one has to be cancelled..

crafty: sorry to hear you got a bfn, matthewsmum is right, our bodies play cruel tricks on us sometimes. i think i remember reading you did a cycle of clomid ? are you going to do anymore of it ?
matthewsmum: hope the acupuncture helps your hormone levels
saffy: how are you feeling ? did you have a few goes of bding ?
afm: no news really, day 19 still haven't ovulated (i don't think), sore boobs now though so looks like something is happening, i think i get that a few days before ovulation so here's hoping i get an positive opt in the next day or so

Crafty - Really sorry to hear you had a BFN, I was sure it would go the other way. Are you sure about your ovulation times? Since I got older I ovulate much later than I used to. Whereas it was around that day 14 to 18 when I was 40 now it's around day 21 to 23. That's why we BD so long, to make sure we cover any possible ovulation.

I am sorry I am so long between posts - we are at the busiest time of year for my job plus with DH's injuries its real hard to get on here and stay up-to-date with everyone.

AFM ~ AF finally did arrive - about time!! My B'day is on the 7th and I'll be 31, really depressing as I so wanted to have kids before I was 30 :( I know I still have time but after 5yrs It really gets to you.:wall: DH is mending well - thanks for asking ladies :)

Loops- yay for AF arriving, about time! Milestones in age are always hard, if only we could put our ages on hold while we are ttc! I'm sure you will be a great mummy no matter what age you are x
India'smum- good luck with your appt today, I hope they give you some good news. I wish you ( and all of us) would be given a break and be given a definate BFP with no stress attached but that obviously isn't any of our journeys!! I'm :pray: that you have a sticky bub there xx
minniemouse- only did one BD cos DH and I aren't getting along well at the moment and we both are sick of TTC sex I think. Relying on the FET this week I suppose. Glad you are seeing hte FS this week, hope you O soon too!
Crafty-:hug: so sorry sweetie for your BFN, you held off testing for a long time too! You poor darling, it is so disappointing.
Matthewsmum- good luck with BT today, I hope the acu helped and that your cycle still goes ahead.

AFM- can't believe I'm having an embryo transfer in 2 days! Its weird on a natural cycle, no meds or emotional buildup ( although Dh and I are fighting which we only do in the lead up to stressful IVF stuff). Babydust to everyone!

Loops - it's so hard to have several birthdays go by when you are trying to conceive. It really makes you notice the amount of time you have been trying. I will be 45 on the 2nd.
Saffy - It would be weird not to go through the entire process for the ET. Sorry to hear you and DH are not getting along. DH and I are ok but sometimes I think "if we never had sex again, I don't think I would care". I'm longing to go back to that time when I actually looked forward to going to bed with him.
Well my HCG is now 280 so I think that is doubling ok. It's still a very early pregnancy though. By dates I should be 5 weeks but I think I will go back a week as I'm sure I ovulated late so I'm calling myself 4 weeks pregnant. I have to go back for another blood test in a week and if it's over 1000 then they will just organise a 6 week scan to see if it's viable. Fingers crossed.
