Hi girls,
transfer went well yesterday, now resting up! I hope it works but I'm not feeling very optimistic.
Called in sick for today cos the kind nurse gave me a certificate for today- yay!
I'm going to try nad take annual leave next week if I can get it at short notice, as I want to avoid doing nightshift next week.
Hi to everyone and hope your bub is sticking tight india'smum xx
-
Hi Saffy - Glad to hear it went well. I'm very much looking forward to you and I going to the PAML thread together and sharing our journey. I understand about not feeling optimistic but hey, we wouldn't put ourselves through this unless there was a chance, would we?
Crafty - how are you doing honey? Did AF show up yet?
-
saffy-glad transfer went well, sounds like youv'e got a strong little embie there,to be able to survive thawing, hope it continues to grow in strength...hi everyone...afm-bt results are still showing levels too low for transfer, having another test tomorrow...
-
Saffy - so glad to hear transfer went well - will be thing of you over the coming weeks xx
Hi and special love to everyone else, hope you are all travelling well xx
-
Saffy: Hope little embie is snuggling in tight!
Mathew'smum: Hope you get good news about hormone levels soon.
India'smum: FX for you that your numbers go from strength to strength and you can have your dating scan very soon.
Minniemouse: What a long wait! How frustrating! Hope you have lots of motivation for BD'ing after your long wait!
Loops: Glad AF finally showed up.
Crafty: Sorry for bl00dy BFN.
Hi everyone else....
-
Saffy - fingers crossed! Rest and take care of your embies, I'll feel optimistic for you.
Matthew's mum - how did the test go?
India's mum - have things settled down now? Are you feeling a bit less panicky now? I know you will not feel fully at ease until the bub is born, so I am not even asking that.
Minniemouse - I had some cycles with ovulation on day 20-21 too. Once I even got pregnant with ovulation so late, but it was not meant to be. BTW, I decided against clomid. I read that for some women, it can makes things worse, it can cause uterine lining to be too thin, or the cervical mucus to turn against the sperms. I know I ovulate, so I'd rather take things slowly but surely than take a risk. No time for risky things.

hi everyone,
saffy: glad the transfer went well, hope you manage to sort out that annual leave, im in the 2ww with you
matthewsmum: hope did your next blood test go ?
possum magic: nice to see you still checking on us, hope you are going well
sunbeam: good to see you also, well done on the weight loss, i can't remember did you get the results from your mri ?
luna: probably a good call on the clomid if you dont need it, i know my specialist said clomid increases the risk of miscarriage
india's mum: whats the latest with you ? sending you sticky vibes
hi to everyone else
afm: i saw my specialist today, he has given me another 2 cycles of clomid, this time at 100mgs before i have to think about whether to go down the ivf path, hopefully this cycle will be successful and i don't have to worry about that but as we all know things aren't that easy. anyway im 2dpo so i'll concentrate on that for now
-
Luna - Thanks for asking. Things have settled down, I don't have anymore pain in my side and I haven't bled since Monday. I do still feel quite pessimistic about my chances but it helps to have the progesterone and baby aspirin the FS prescribed as it makes me feel as though I am giving it my best shot. Expensive stuff that progesterone. DH nearly fell over when I told him it was around $80 a week. I only have to take it for 6 weeks though.
Matthews Mum - How did the second blood test go, any better?
Sunbeam - woo hoo to 4kg. I lost 4kg in January too. I wanted to lose about 8 before we went to Bali but I can't really diet now.
Saffy - how are you feeling? Silly question, I know you are probably tied up in knots with worry. I can't wait until I am telling someone about YOUR success story to give them a boost. I don't have another blood test until next Tuesday and if that shows the numbers rising correctly then I will have a scan the following week when I will be between 6 and 7 weeks and there is actually something to see.
Minninemouse - hope you don't need the extra clomid. Fingers crossed that this is the cycle for you.
-
Hi Minniemouse - Thanks for asking, yes I just got my MRI results yesterday arvo. The enormous amount of pain was well founded given the fact that I had managed to rupture 2 discs!!! They are well on the mend now but my spine does show considerably more degeneration that he would have expected to see for my age. He said exersize is the only thing that will help and I have to do it everyday. I told him I'd gladly exersize everyday of my life if I never ever have to have another MRI!!
Saw my nutrionist today, holy smokes I've lost 9.5cm from my waist
Saffy - It seems insane how much harder the TWW is after IVF given the fact its only 11 days. Just keep breathing babe.
Miss you all can't wait till May.
-
Sunbeam - 4 kilos, that is like 8 pounds! Holy smokes indeed! Does not weight loss look better in pounds BTW?
India's mum - glad to hear everything is fine. I hear you about the progesterone.... I have some left over actually, they put me on it for my last pregnancy before we knew it was ectopic, I am wondering whether to start taking it now just in case? But if I am not preggers, I will be just wasting the expensive stuff.
Matthew's Mum - did you go ahead with the transfer this month?
I am just waiting, not really feeling any symptoms... Not sure if I should 10 DPO.
-
Hi Lovely Ladies
Just another quick one sorry. Hope you are all well - always thinking of you and
Saffy ~ thanks hun, doing ok. Glad the transfer went well and I have everything crossed for you! :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Goodluck all!
-
Hi everyone sorry ive been away from here for a while but with my mum visiting from the UK I needed time to spend with her,
saffy FX for you and hope the TWW isn't too bad for you and your bfp will be on here soon.

everyone else thanks for asking about me I am ok I guess bit tearful atm as I just took my mum to the airport and said goodbye !
AF finally turned up properly today so thank god for that but been a funny 6 wks with lots of spotting 2wks ago and a bfn but she is well and truely here now so I guess I have to be happy I am still having a full cycle just not sure on ovulation now adays
anyhow onwards and upwards I guess not giving up just yet ! WANT MY BFP AND I WILL GET IT ONE OF THESE DAYS !
-
Hi craftymummy- sad for you having to say goodbye to your mummy xx Sorry AF the biatch is here, hope your bfp comes soon xx
Hi loops- sorry if this is too personal but does you DH's injury allow you to :bd:? Or do you have to put that on hold? Thanks for the stickys.xx
Luna- I am about a day behind you I think, no symptoms here either.xx
Sunbeam- glad you have found a diagnosis but god no wonder you were in pain!! What exercise do you have to do? Hope the weight loss is still going well. xx
India'smum- wow, no more bleeding is a positive sign hun, sounding good!! xx
minniemouse- hope the 100mg does the trick, or even better that you don't need it!
matthewsmum- what happened with your cycle?
afm- not having fun at all, I have been spotting ( brown small amounts) since transfer, so am about to call the clinic and demand a BT to check my pregesterone. Don't know whats going on, but I feel like this cycle has no chance and I am going to get AF soon, very depressing.
-
Saffy - But might the brown spotting be implantation bleeding? I don't think it's necessarily a bad sign.
Crafty - Sorry your Mum has gone home. I couldn't imagine living so far away from my Mum (but DH couldn't live far enough away from his!)
Luna - Do you usually have very early symptoms? Personally I wouldn't feel anything much at 10DPO
Loops - Will DH's injury effect your TTC?
-
:partysmiley: happy birthday loops!!!! xx have a great day, have a drink or two for me please!!
indiasmum- yeah, I know its not implantation its been going for 4 days constantly, got my blood test done so if the results are normal I'll stop stressing anyway. The clinic was trying to palm off as I expected but I insisted. How are you? x
-
Saffy - could it be they scratched something during transfer? You know how sometimes you can have spotting after DTD when you are pregnant? Maybe it is like that?
India's mum - the only time I got very early symptoms was with my daughter, so this is my marker for a successful pregnancy...I did not really have much symptoms with her at all, except my bbs killing me very early on. The bbs made me take the test 12 dpo and it came up positive, and it was not even FMU.
So, tomorrow is 12 DPO, not feeling pregnant in the least, but I am still going to do the test because I planned it, so it is getting done.
