Great news on your egg pick saffy and good luck for sundays trans hope the TWW flies by for you.

Matthewsmum I have a good feeling about this one after all you were so close last time !
Will be checking in for your BFP !

Luna look on the bright side you got a few BFPs last year and your not as old as me, I had my last BFP at the age of 44 and my son was born when I was 43 so you are still in with a chance ( my oldest is nearly 7 yrs older than my 2nd so you do get used to the waking to feed a newborn again and its not for that long )

afm well feeling really tired and got a bad headache sitting behind my eyes so I guess that means my hormones are playing up again I read somewhere that a drop in hormones can give you bad headaches when your perimenapause ! oh well got lots to keep me busy my lovely DH got me a new sewing machine early birthday present to cheer me up and take my mind off of TTC its a Designer Ruby shes so lovely and does so much lucky me !!!!! He knows how to keep me smiling and busy !

Saffy: good news for you, how many days to they take the embryos to ? (how many will you put back in ?). i got progesterone pessaries, is one better than the other do you know ? and who knew they were really hard to get i had to go to a compounding chemist and they are making them for me, thank goodness i didn't leave them until the last minute to get, it really didn't occur to me they would take a few days to prepare

matthewsmum: hope things are good with you, shame they won't give you progesterone, have they said why they don't ?

crafty: enjoy your new sewing machine, i wouldn't know the first thing about how to use one lol

loops: how are you going ?

afm: nothing new with me, cycle day 10, i am thinking i might ovulate earlier this cycle, i hope so, having been having a lot of back pain that i don't normally get this early in the cycle

saffy-we always seem to be waiting for something...crafty-happy sewing, glad dh was able to put a smile on your face...minniemouse-they check prog levels before transfer,& if they have started to rise, they trust my body to do what it is supposed to do(frustrating when my body has not always done what it is supposed to)...

Saffy - 7 embies! So exciting, I am keeping fingers crossed for Sunday

Matthew's mum - when are you testing? Does this time feel any different than last transfer?

Crafty - I am a bit younger but not really that much. So what are you making first on this new toy? I think I never learned how to sew because my mother is so good at it. It was just easier to go to her and ask than learn.... She made my prom dress, and it was so pretty and unique, lots of my gilrfriends wanted to borrow it later for various occasions. When you know how to sew you have more fashion choices.

Minnie mouse - let's hope you are right about early O, the long wait is just such PITA. It happened to me this cycle, so I can totally understand.

Possum magic - glad to hear everything is going well, look how the time flies, you are in your second trimester already!

AFM - CD 21 and I think I may ovulate today... Or maybe tomorrow... I am feeling ambivalent about TTC, I think DH's doubts crept into my head.

    hi girls,
luna-waiting that long for O must be torturous, although if you are ambivalent, you must just want to ignore it ( impossible I know!)

    possummagic- hi chick!

minniemouse- everyday I feel a bit better, I think I was spoilt last stim cycle cos I didn't have any pain at all which now I realise is unusual, so its been a shock. I have to do a late/early today & tomorrow so that will be a challenge ( you're a midwife aren't you? So you know the pain) I think theres no difference between the pessaries and the others, we are spoilt and get them from the ivf place, don't have to compound.

crafty- have you ever looked into acupuncture, it is very good for balancing out hormonal problems, I know it got rid of my AF pains, I go to someone who specialises in female reproduction and she does a lot of work sorting out people's hormones. I'm so in awe of you being able to use a sewing machine, I have tried sewing cos i would love to but I am hopeless.

matthewsmum- you must be coming up to a week post transfer- so close! God I hope it works for you

saffy-have they agreed to give you the progesterone pessaries this time round?..luna-bt isn't due until next thursday but i think i'll poas before then, just incase it's a bfp & the prog low(clinic might hand over some prog support then )...possummagic & minniemouse -i'm trying trying to stay positive...i haven't had any spotting this time yet except for night of transfer, acupuncturist put my dose of herbal mixture i've been taking up,going to have an oesteopath session tomorrow ,then another acupuncture session next week.Dont know if i mentioned this before or not,but acupunturist told me to stay away from anything chilled, like ice in drinks,so been having my water at room temperature & letting the chill go off my fruit juice a little before drinking

saffy: must be hard to work at the moment for you, yes im a midwife too, don't you just love the late/early combo, the hospital i used to work at used to have the afternoon shift finish at 1045pm and mornings was a 0645am start, that was hard some days ! have you heard how the embies are doing ?

matthewsmum: i hope all is going well for you, when do you think you will poas ?

afm: nothing much happening, i picked up the progesterone today from the chemist, it looks like minature ice cream cones, very weird ! now i just have to ovulate, going on the last few months it won't happen until after next weekend *twiddles thumbs* im sure we would all agree to fast forward time at the moment ?

Yes, Matthewsmum - when are you going to POAS?

AFM - well, I DTD last night, so I guess I am in TWW. The ovulation test was very dark and definetly positive yesterday afternoon. I am honestly not sure how I feel about it anymore, the urgency is gone, so either way will be fine. Maybe it is a healing process after m/c - the overwhelming need to be pregnant again just goes away.

Saffy - Are you getting the progesterone support this time. Good luck for Sunday sweetie.

I had my 12 week scan this morning and bubs is doing well. HB was 156 and lots of movement. I had no HB at my last two 12 week scans so this was a huge relief and I burst into tears when they found the HB.

India'smum- thats fanastic news, what a relief . How was bali?? I'm on progesterone twice a day so I am happy with that x

Luna- now you are in the tww maybe you will feel less pressure and not go mad like the rest of us- hope so! (don't know if that makes sense) Good timing with your OPK anyway x

Sunbeam- great to see you as usual! Thanks, I hope it is your turn soon, you deserve it. Hurry up May! x

minniemouse- no idea about the embryos, my clinic just leaves you guessing, but its good not to obsess about it for a few days before the tww! I'm very excited about your cycle with progesterone, come on egg- get moving! x

matthewsmum- Glad you are throwing everything at this one! Sounds like you are giving this embie the greatest chance. I have progesterone twice a day (vaginal) hope it works! x

Cafty- how are the headaches going? x

Hi loops- how are you chick?? x

AFM- transfer tomorrow at 8.15, no sleep-ins for me this cycle! I spoke to the Dr at work today who is doing my transfer- he is almost as excited as me! Can't wait, hope I get some frosties too

saffy-be thinking about you & embies tomorrow morning...india's mum-great news, have you told dd1?...luna-good luck...minniemouse-big 'o' wishes...sunbeam -congrats on the weight loss...afm-saw oesteo today ,she said blood flow overall was good but felt some holding in pelvis area,so she worked on that and also worked on pituary gland to help with hormone levels, did some visualisation with her .Going to poas on monday ,feeling scared about the result, not feeling very strong at the moment to handle another negative result but feel i have to poas just in case i need the extra progesterone support, best to find out earlier.

Saffy - I found the progesterone also provided a lot of emotional support as well as physical as I felt I was doing something to help the baby. I used it twice a day too.

Matthew'sMum - I am dying to tell DD but we are holding off a bit longer. I have a good nuchal fold measurement but I will wait and see what the the blood test results combined with it are. If they are good we will tell DD this week. DD is a talker so once we tell her, we pretty much will have told everyone she comes into contact with.

    Hey ladies,

I am still a stalker wishing you all lots of luck and look forward to some good news for all of you.

Crafty-as always you are in my thoughts and remember if that 47 year old lady in hospital with me can do it then there is always hope.

My princess is here safe Ella Jean Christine arrived the 18/3/11 at 10:48 weighing 6lb 7oz with a light covering of dark hair so after 2 years of heartache and extreme stress and sadness we did it.

India'smum- as i said in the other thread woohoo on the 12 weeks scan just the BT results then you can relax a bit and enjoy.
