Just popping in here quickly (or not), I'm a bit of a talker.
As Sunbeam said we had a good chat last week. Actually she has become a great buddy of mine and I'm very lucky to have her living so close to me (ok, yes, we hang out from time to time )..............
Just wanted to share a piece of information that played a part in my journey, that I hope might help you in some way. I am a LTTTCer and have had 4 miscarriages (2 natural & 2 IVF ones last year), and am now over 6 months pregnant with a little boy.
I stuck with my clinic and trusted my Dr for most of my journey which began about 3 years ago (the IVF part anyway...). I thought it was the best thing to do and that he was doing the best by me. But after 4 embies & 2 miscarriages with IVF, we were heartbroken, financially broken & I didn't physically think I could take anymore.
We had 1 left in the freezer and then we were out of the game and probably looking at buying 2 large dogs and trying for adoption. I was still suffering from "Post Traumatic stress" from 2 miscarriages in a row during last yeasr, and had began to activate Plan B which also involved doing a Uni Degree.
So it was with all of this in mind and going on that we decided, what the hell, let's just change Dr's and throw caution to the wind.
Would you believe, we changed Dr's, I ovulated 10 days later, my endometrium was not even thick enough, but he said "let's do it anyway and throw everything at it". So we did. They transferred my frozen embie by car from Bris to the Gold Coast. I went the Colorado Protocol, more blood tests than normal and way more evil Crinone pessaries than my previous Dr ever gave me (in fact kept up the Crinone until 16 weeks), and daily Clexane injections (which I will have to take until close to birth). My new Dr wasn't even here on the day to perform the Embryo transfer.............
And I now have 13 weeks left until I give birth by CS.
So if you are considering changing Dr's I would say go with your gut. My new Dr said it is often the case that when you change Dr's you fall straight away. I think it has to do with fresh eyes trying fresh things - or more to the point, WILLING to try fresh things to assist you.
