Sunbeam- you are such a legend to bounce back like that. Camping in the cold isn't my cup of tea either. I stopped counting my cycle length, it was too depressing, I'll look in my diary later and work it out!! Least i am good at something lol

Matthewsmum- we had a 44yo at my work today, just had her 1st baby- used donor eggs, thought you'd be interested to hear that.

Crafty- if only DHs just had to take a tablet to make us pregnant, mine would still forget haha! Good luck with opks.

minnie-when is af due, are you testing?

afm- period pains- yuk, can't complain though ( well DH told me I couldn't lol). Start letrozole tomorrow- scary!

afm: 12dpo and i have woken with with brown bleeding (with a tiny bit of pink) so i'd say this cycle is coming to an end, i didn't get af until after i stopped the progesterone last time but who knows what my body is doing

Hi minnie- my AF is HORRIBLE, very heavy and painful still ( sorry tmi) I am patiently waiting it out, I think she stored up 3 months worth lol. Letrezole is similar to clomid apparently. Hope its implantation not AF xx

Minniemouse - Sorry it's a BFN for you too. We need one BFP to get us started they always come in clusters on here.

Saffy - I'm glad AF is here but i'm sorry she is being a b#$%ch! I always feel pretty good about a heavy one though as it's a good fresh start if you catch my meaning. Mine is only ever 2 days now and very light so sometimes I worry it's not enough. I'm a bit confused why they'd put you on clomid like meds for a FET when you don't need to make eggies unless it's to ensure you O. Maybe that's why they didn't suggest it to me as clomid doesn't work on me. I hope it works well for you babe.

AFM - Well decided against camping thank goodness as it is cold enough inside right now. I had breakfast with a friend and then snuggled in my room with the heating on watching Eclipse :p. New donor daddy was going to come over for a chat about the whole "how we do this" stuff but was not keen to be on his motorbike in the cold either so I am going to his place tomorrow. He's quite young a little freaked out I think. Poor boy.
On other news I have a NEW JOB :leap: I did the interview on thursday and got offered it yesterday. It is full time so I will have to cut back my private practise but it is only 5 mins from my office so I will see some clients before or after work for a while. I start on the 20th.

AFM~ Nothing to report at all here, all very boring no TTC this cycle for us but I am awaiting to see if I O today or not. Had some EWCM today but have had no cramping at all yet with this cycle like I did in my last at O time, so it's anybodies guess with me, lol.

Clairesmummy - I really hope it is implantation bleeding. Prog will stop AF but I never got any bleeding or spotting on it so I'm not sure, sorry not much help. Will you test again soon? How much prog are you on?

AFM - Officially cd1 today :dance: so we are going to be cycle buddies Saffy. I cut down to 400mg prog on wed-sat so I did not really expect AF till tues but she rocked in last night. Had a big chat with new donor daddy too last night and I think he is just a little nervous about "performing" and how his swimmers will go! Hopefully he will feel bit more relaxed once we get started. Had baby cuddles from their 9 month old all night too :D heaven.

afm well never got a pos OPK the line was very faint from day 11 to yesterday so I guess I didn't O this month and not expecting any BFPs. DH is really peeing me off he knows when is the right time and still falls asleep and is totally not interested in TTC even though he is taking menevit and zinc and asks how my opks went, :angry: WTF is he playing at does he not realize days are important in your cycle ! mananged to DTD day 11 and 13 only and yesterday when he became interested I told him to forget it its too damn late now !!!

crafty- I feel your frustration, I ALWAYS O'd in the middle of the week when DH was in a coma from work, never on the weekend when we had time to DTD. Lots of people think they missed it but somehow the little swimmers manage to get in the right place at the right time FX. Tell him you'll get a turkey baster if he doesn't lift his game lol.

Claresmummy- no TTC?? What are you going to do with all your free time :rofl:, no charting, checking undies for ewcm, temps, BDing, obsessing over phantom symptoms, peeing on sticks etc etc ( or is that just me??)

HI loops- how are you going? Have you told your dr about the faint bfp?

AFM- last day of letrozole, so I must be CD7, sunbeam I think its used to make sure your body is definately Oing and the hormones behave themselves. Having a scan next Wednesday to check follicle, lining etc then OPKs, BT then hopefully transfer! I don't feel bloated at all like on clomid, just had a few headaches and tiredness. Bit grumpy too but i think work caused that not the tablets haha.
I'm getting ready for our run of BFPs, then we can close this thread down FOREVER :dance::clap:

Saf~ No TTC for us this cycle, don't get me wrong darl, I was still checking for EWCM and taking my temp and doing my OPTs just to make sure I O'd and how long my LP will be this cycle so I have info for my OB GYN appointment in exactly 2 weeks time. So the only thing we are missing this cycle is the horrible 2WW to hopefully get a BFP that probably wouldn't happen anyhow, so all in all yes I was still monitoring Ovulation but I know I don't have to stress over everything in the 2WW as I know this cycle will be a BFN. Just didnt want to risk a BFP before my appointment so he has a free run to start any testing he may want to do with me, which he hopefully will as my last OB GYN did not do anything no tests nothing just put me straight onto clomid and that was it....hopefully this one will be very very different, FX.

Well half way through my TWW well thinks so anyway, had some BBs tenderness but hey beens nothing right still praying for a miracle and still taking the vitex think im getting a bit more used to it now as it was giving me dreadful headaches and I was quite depressed but thats how it goes on this thread hey girls.
DH had the day off yesterday and we had a good chat and he was sorry he was not upto date with TTC but promised to be upto date in the future even if it means sending him a text during the day to REMIND him what cycle day we are on !!!

saffy good luck with the scans and lets hope these BFPs start coming soon and we get out of this thread !

Crafty - Do you think you didn't O at all or will it just be a late one? I will be back on OPKs now and will have to test cd13-cd25 as I can O anytime between cd17 and cd26! I'm sorry DH has been difficult but I'm glad you guys worked it out. That is weird that the vitex makes you depressed it has quite the opposite effect on me and I will continue to take it pretty much forever as it helps with my mood. I hope the sore BBs is the first sign of your miracle.

Minniemouse - I'm sorry it was a BFN but that's good that you are all ready to go with the clomid.

Saffy - That is crazy that I went through a whole FET while you waited for AF. I'm glad the Letrozole hasn't been too hard on you. I don't get the whole scared of performing it's not like it's something they don't do on a pretty regular basis usually anyway!! Boys!!! And totally yes to bringing on the BFP run it has been ages.

Claire'smummy - I really hope your new FS is on the ball your last one sounds pretty slack. I have to say from my 4 months off it is nice to have a stress free cycle not checking for symptoms every minute of the TTW.

AFM - Well I am all booked for a scan to check follie size and lining on the 27th, cd15. I will be doing OPKs too so I'll make sure I don't miss it, if by some miracle I O before cd17 ( it never happened in 3 years of charting). My 50 OPKs arrived in the post yesterday so i feel all set. We are not getting Donor daddy's swimmers checked at this point as I don't want to put any extra pressure on him but given that his partner has a 9 month old and is 15 weeks pregnant I'm guessing they can't be too bad!

Maybe my hormones were so out of whack it took vitex a while to agree with me and settle down but I have read on the net that it can give headaches nausea and either make moods better or worse but today I feel great so I guess I am getting used to it after 3 full weeks of taking it despite how shi* I felt I am so glad I carried on.
Not sure if I did O or not as my opks were all the same a faint 2nd line that never got darker ! oh well keep trying I say !!!

crafty- I had weird effects from vitex as well, I had to stop taking it immediantely, it was making me crazy, esp at night trying to get to sleep I had racing thoughts and anxiety, I googled and other people had effects like that too.
sunbeam- hope your cold ges better soon!
claresmummy- enjoy 2 weeks without the dreaded tww, hope the appt rolls around soon hun
afm- had to stay late at work last night til 2.30am!!! So tired today but have to go back to work this arvo. Why can't I just be on maternity leave, I am so sick of working!!

Afm well day 24 and my boobies are so damn sore can't stand them touched my 3yr old wanted a cuddle but the pain was dreadful got bfn this morning so why they hurt? Oh well looking forward to the headache that will follow shortly not!

afm: im a bit up and down (well maybe that should be so so and down), i started clomid yesterday and im hoping for an early ovulation again. im trying to remember the latest 2 lucky girls who left this thread were over 40 so there is still hope for us all, we just need that one lucky cycle !

i have this really strange pain that i have never had before, its hard to describe, its from my lower back and also from above my uterus, its like a really painful pins and needles thing that spreads up my torso right up to under my boobs. im wondering if it is some late side effect from the hycosy as i think that is the space the fluid would have gone into ? (but should be long gone), anyone have any clue as to what it is ?

minnie- not sure about that sounds wierd (and painful). I always think about the over 40s getting utd, its very encouraging!

AFM ~ have had a busy couple of weekends which has been great as its kept my mind off TTC for a bit - a nice break. The funerals not so good but had a great QB'day long weekend and then my families charity ball this weekend and my step-dads 60th - both fantastic nights. Starting with accupuncture again soon and DH is also going to try it, after he got his tattoo I said if he can handle that he should be able to handle accu :)

Spoke to IVF nurse yestie and she said I could have got a blood test referral from them - when I got my last natural BFP - so now I know if it happens again I can get a BT done.

afm- scan went well, i've got a follie thats 18mm so doing opks but no positive yet. Lining was a bit thin ( 6mm) but got in an acupuncture yesterday to boost it. Old clinic is still giving me the run around with child protection checks etc but I've made my new clinic deal with it now as I am sick of ringing them. I just went outside and it is freezing!!!! I'm having a woe-is-me morning.
Rang the clinic this morning cos i have only had faint lines on OPK and today no line at all, the nurse thinks I might have missed my O, just had a blood test to confirm. If I haven't O'd thats ok, just need blood tests daily but if I had my cycle is cancelled :crying:. I can't handle a cancelled cycle, I'm so depressed.

oh no Saffy thats awful ! so frustrating and upsetting if you have missed it, when will you get the blood test result ? have you felt any ovulation pain ? (do you usually). fingers crossed it shows it hasn't happened yet :hug: for you

thanks hun, I forgot to say my UTI is better thanks, got ABs that night and it felt better by the morning- luckily!!
Haven't felt any O pain ( used to but don't much anymore since starting ivf), had ewcm on sunday but nothing before or since, don't know wtf is going on I think my body has lost the plot since my chem preg.

AFM - Sorry I have not been in lately my cold is nearly gone but I have been flat out with my new job and trying to see my private clients as well. I am getting a scan on monday to check if I'm heading towards O. I have been having O pain so I'm hopeful. I'll be starting my OPK's tomorrow to make sure I don't miss it. I have been keeping in contact with donor daddy to try and keep him calm about the whole thing I guess I'm still a but scared he'll find it too overwhelming and pull out, I'll feel easier about it after our first cycle (let hope we don't need more.)

AFM~ Well going by my last cycle AF is due to come today, which if she does that is twice since my last MC that I have had an LP of 9 days before my last MC it was only 5-8days. My appointment is now only 6 days away and starting to feel very scared now of what I am committing myself to as I really don't know if I could handle yet another MC any time soon as if it wasn't for my very good friend Minnie I would not of got through the whole thing at all last time. I couldn't even get myself to come on here to talk about my problems I was having at the time which contained a whole lot more than the MC, OUTLAWS who needs them IYKWIM. Anyhoo Pete is coming to my appointment with me and I am praying like crazy that this time there will be light at the end of the tunnel. I have a million questions to ask my DR and I am hoping that he aint like the last one I had and push me out the door without listening to a word I had said.

Saffy - How totally unfair, I can't believe the s#@t we have to go through in here sometimes! After that huge long cycle with no AF you now O early WTF! Hugest hugs babe:comfort: I hope AF hurries and you can get started again, sounds like they need to be doing bt more often so they know what is going on.

AFM~ First of all I am so sorry if this is gut churning for any of you but I really have a few questions I would like answered by ladies in the know, who is not me, lol. Well AF arrived for me yesterday which gave me a 10LP this cycle much to my shock I haven;t had an LP that long for many many years. But my question is that I would like help with is when AF arrives she is always very clotty, not big huge clots but clots she never seems to be just bleeding for me like it was before having DD nearly 6 years ago. And is always pretty dark in colour as well. Does this mean anything or is it just normal for some women to have clotty blood with AF?????

my acupuncturist doesn't like clots in AF but I'm not sure why. I get them too occassionally. Sorry to ask this question but did you have a D&C after your miscarriage in Feb? Only asking cos whenever i have had a D&C, my AF has been much more 'clotty' than usual for a good few months. After I do a lot of acupuncture , my AF is just bright red blood and no clots, which apparently is good, but usually it reverts back to darker red and clots if no acupuncture. I'm not sure if it actually is good to have no clots, it muight just be in Eastern medicine/ acupuncture terms.
Sorry you can't get any good news about your new OB/Gyn, but give him/her a chance, and hopefully they will be on your side!
Hi everyone else, I am back on track after a night out on the booze last night, I guess I'm in the tww now as we had dtd around when i apparently o'd but won't hold my breath on that one lol, babydust to all xx

Saffy~ Must of been a night for it last night, DF and I did the same thing, we had an awesome night and it was so great to let our hair down and forget our troubles. All 3 of my MC have been natural never needed a D&C for any of them thank goodness. I have some bright red blood but not alot it's mostly always darker and clotty and sorry if this makes you feel violently ill but it also seems to always look kinda like slimey a little like EWCM as well. Maybe a good question to ask the Ob as well hey.
