Saffy- yeah congratulations on your transfer, hoping they are sticky sticky sticky!

Keta- wow that is fantastic news!! Slow and steady is definitely the way with these cycles. I looked back at my notes and on the cycle when I got pregnant with my son (3+ years ago now...) I triggered at day 20. I had remembered it as shorter than that, so it made me feel better about these looong cycles. Enjoy the romantic break!

me4ever- oh I am so excited and nervous for you. I'm so happy that you had some HCG, but I know how it feels to not be celebrating about that. I know the waiting is torture... but there's still a chance. For what it's worth, with my chem pregnancy the HCG was only 13, so 39 sounds good compared to that. I am really praying that it's good news for you.

Thanks for all the replies about exercise.. I'm now even more confused so THANKS! haha. No I am going to the gym but not pushing myself too far, so am still getting the mental benefits but trying not to get too out of breath and heart rate too high. I'll see how I go later in the cycle but will try and continue doing something.

    Good luck ladies!

Lyra, just quickly, the idea is that you can't raise your core temperature because it can 'cook' the embryos.

Sounds like a load of rubbish I know, but I promise you it's true!

    Hi Girls

Back at work and will work on the list asap

Everything went soooo much better than I even hoped for. All 5 made it to blast I couldn't believe it. ALL 5!!!!! I was soooo excited to hear that. Transfer was yesterday and I had 2 x day 5 transferred. One was starting to hatch, so we dont think that assisted hatching is something we need to worry about. I was so worried about having thick shells and they couldn't get out, but he said nope, all shells look good and one is just starting to hatch, so not to worry anymore about that. So we can cross that of our list of things to try. One was refrozen yesterday and the lab tech said it actually has a bridging in it which would lean towards identical twins. Well bugger me!!!! I was so super excited to hear about that one, although god knows twins would be a handful. They didn't want to use that one as I was having 2 put back in this cycle. DH looked like a deer in a head light lol. The nurse said both our facial reactions could not have been further apart lol. I lit up like a christmas tree and DH looked all pale and couldn't blink for ages. So everyone in the room believes that at this stage egg quality is not the issue, however I do know they have to continue to grow. The 2 in me are cruising along and were of good quality. The other two will be grown out till today and he said that they are good blasties but wanted to make sure they were refreezable. I now think that if they are strong enough to thaw and continue to grow surely now if it doesn't work it has to be an embedding issue.

I think that what my FS said about testing for next time we do a stim. The biopsy, from what i gather (from Dr Google), is to check for NK cells. I feel really good about this cycle. It was our one year anniversary yesterday and as we were walking out of the hospital would of been the time we were saying our vows. It was certainly a very loving, glowing day for both of us. We had an awesome weekend in Adelaide at my Nan's 90th and made use of the hotel room

I always feel so positive straight after a transfer. Its the 2nd week that the doubts creep in. BT is the 8th of May. Will head over to the TWW. Will be back for persies xxx

N2L provided they keep growing we are aiming for day 5 which is Saturday.
Do you think I should be pushing for 2 at transfer if we have 2? I am feeling so out of my depth with this whole process I am confused about what is good and what isn't! Any advice will be treated with love x

I always do two. But that's due to me being an old fart. Your FS will probably have an opinion. S/he might say no as it's your first time...

Joeve - I always have 2 trans if I can. I am 41. They say it doesn't increase the chances of getting pregnant just the chances of having twins. Having said that what about the girls on here that have 2 put back in and get a singleton out of it. I like having the 2 put back in. Even my first go I had 2 put in.

Porche & Saff - Your both so lucky to have your BT's on the 5th. I have to wait for the 8th.

The way I see it is it saves me time and money. It is unlikely I am going to get twins and it saves and an extra month and a FET. if one is going to stick, it is going to stick regardless of it going in alone or with another at the same time iykwim.

Lol, your very patient Joeve. I stalk everyday. Its like they are my babies already and I need to know if they are ok.

I called the clinic and the other 2 embies were not suitable to refreeze. Shame, but am hoping whats in me will do the trick

I agree N2L it is a time and money issue.
