Loops - i hope everything is going ok, it sounds pretty scary and stressful, I would be pushing for a blood test tomorrow. Hope it all goes well.

Marcellus - thanks, God i hope this is it. Hope everything goes smooth with your cycle.

M2B - GL for EPU tomoz. Hope you get lots of lovely eggies.

JBM - thanks i have been really positive this time round so hopefully that pays off this time. I think there can be something to say for positive thinking hope it goes well with your FS.

Melissal - that sounds really rough hon. Don't you just love MIL's Don't let her get to you, take as much time as you need.

Laridoz - hope your dinner party went well and that you are feeling a bit better about your stim cycle, it will happen (if i had a $1 for everytime i heard that, sorry). I went through a similar thing last night, going out for dinner with a group of friends 2 of which are pregnant and another has one already, so i spent hours discussing breast feeding, labour, bottles, prams and anything else to do with having a baby! Sometimes i think that people just don't take a second to think! I expected the baby talk but not it to be the sole topic!

    Hi to anyone i missed!

ATM - did another HPT this morning and it was still very faint, so not sure what to think! I am hoping that it is just too early for it to show on a stick. Have BT tomoz so will let you all know then.

Marcellus ~ thank you, GL with your cycle!

Melissa ~ thank you 2 and Im sorry about your MIL, that is rough and not very considerate. Hope you're doing ok.

JBM ~ thanks hun, not long now for you, woohoo

Renee ~ FX hun, hoping its a BFP for you!!

Em-star ~ I would let you know if I knew but its not looking good at all, I can tell you that. that all is still good with your pg and you get the best confirmation news this arvo! FX xo

Miss K ~ Apparently ectopics are common with IVF, but if baffles me as to how as well. If that is it - im going to have serious questions for the FS when I see him on 25th March. How are you going?

Terry ~ all the best with your up-coming cycle, yay

AFM ~ Just rang Monash IVF, my nurse is away but spoke to replacement nurse and she is faxing a referral to my local pathology clinic so I can have emergency BT, Im pretty sure its an ectopic as all the signs are here! Then if looking like possible ectopic i guess i'll be having an ultrasound at some point

Thanks Miss K, I'm starting to get nervous now...

Loops, I hate to say it, but I've read that ectopic pg's are more common with IVF. I don't understand why that would be, but that's what I've read. I hope you've just got a slow starter there, but sounds like a good idea to get it checked out sooner rather than later.

    Emerald Star, GL today!

I don't think you can count me in for a BFP this time. They just rang and said it is too hard to tell what my levels will do. I had the test a day earlier than usual and my Beta is only 19, which is more than my chem preg from last time, but still quite low. They are not sure if it is on the way down or will jump up quickly, but i'm not holding my breath. I'm soooo bummed

Loops - I am soo soo surprised with this ectopic thing... I have NEVER been warned this is common with IVF and I am amazed!! I really really hope its not an ectopic I hope that you are part of the small percentage that bleeds with preg ... HUGE

Renee - Don't give up yet!!! Those levels can shoot straight up you will be soo surprised!! It is scary and very upsetting to hear though

Juniper - I would be getting nervous now too!! When I had my lap I was scared outta my brains and when I woke up from the anaesthesia I was fine and hardly any pain!! Heat packs will be your friend after though!!

Terry - Happy Anniversary!! And good luck for the 16th!! It won't be too far away!!

Emerald Star - Thankyou! And thank goodness you seen the sac wahoooooooooooo congrats congrats

    Thank goodness EmS!

Oh Renee - if it was early, that may explain the low level. You're still in with a fighting chance

I don't know that ectopics are commone with IVF, but there is an increased risk. Not sure why... maybe due to underlying reasons for inferility? Or maybe because embryos are put back at around the time they'd implant, so if they get 'shot' up into the wrong spot they implant there...? Anyway it sucks.

Thanks ladies, would not be getting through all of this without you.
Ive left work feeling really crappy, dont think I'll get my results from BT until the morning because I had to wait an hr to get my BT done, bloody country pathology.

Em Star ~ So both, and so glad you were able to see that little heart beat, congratulations!!
When you had you ectopic did you know what was happening, were you bleeding alot, what sorry of pain did you have? Sorry about all the questions Im just interested to know.
Obviously you are pg now, so that makes me feel a bit better xo

Renee ~ I hope you get a pleasant surprise hun, but that it ends up better than my surprise obviously. All the best, FX

    Way to go Emerald Star!

Miss K, did I miss something? Are congratulations in order?

Renee, as long as it doubles quickly enough you could still be fine! Will they test again in a couple of days? I'll be for your little emby.

Loops, I wouldn't even be at work in your situation, so I'm all for your heading home early plan.

Loops12 - Just wanting to give you info about ectopics...with me, it was about 2 - 3 years ago...I was doing my usual sales trip for work to melb, adelaide, qld and Perth...all up it was a 3 week sales trip. I was getting ready to leave SYD - ADEL when that norning i noticed brown spotting..thought AF was on her way so didn't think much of it....while in Adelaide for 3 days the spotting stopped..then i was on my way from ADEL - MEL and some more spotting...again i thought AF wants to rear her ugly head, but changed her mind...came back to SYD after 3 days and no more spotting.....4 days later as i was getting ready to go to QLD, spotting started again but this time a little heavier..again i put it down to AF...came back to SYD 5 days later and spotting stopped.
At this point i had no other symptoms, no pain, no cramping, no nausea, no sore boobies..nothing. Then after 2 days back was getting ready to go to Perth, evreything still ok..as far as i was concerned...on the plane drank one of those small red wine bottles..felt great!!! Get to Perth check in to Hotel...it was evening so thought i would have a warm shower and go to bed...well...as soon as i took my bra off the pain and heaviness was excruciating...i also noticed more spotting brownish / red in color but not very heavy...thought maybe i was tooo stressed from work and all the travelling put my body out of whack and AF was just having a difficult time getting to the party...I also noticed at that time that my stomack was very swollen..but still no pain symptoms...it wasn't until i got back and a relative suggest i do a pregnancy test that i realised i was pregnant...5 days later at the U/S found it was a twin ectopic......i was devastated to say the least....hence why i am here today. I hope this helps you in some way..if you need anymore info let me know...but just like pregnancies are all different, ectopics are different with everyone too.
