So right now this day I made my wish come true.....I am preggers on my birthday. Now that little (possibly very spoilt in the future) darlng has to cling on. I keep looking at my sig. to stay positive.
Aw Willi, that made me all teary!! Happy birthday my darling friend xo

N2L, thanks for sharing all of that info, it's a great help. So sorry to hear that AF arrived. Glad to hear you are trying some natural therapies, it definitely can't hurt!!

Kass, those levels do sound like you'll need to increase your Puregon. I hope you get some answers

Jayejaye, enjoy your break and look after yourself.

Saffy, they are fantastic numbers!!! When is your transfer? You, Willi and I will be hanging in the TWW together!! I hope you are feeling ok today.

JBM, not long to go now until you begin your cycle

Blossom, I hope your furbaby is better today.

Melissa, I'm glad you pushed and got the earlier appt. The receptionist at my old FS clinic was the same - always sounded like I was interuppting her.

    Happybaby hun

Hi to anyone I missed, sorry, trying to be quick while I'm at work.

I just called the clinic and everything is looking great so far. I have 4 lil embies with 6 cells, and 2 with 8 cells. The scientist said they all look fantastic and that I'm welcome to call back tomorrow to check on them! I forgot to ask about the grading though, so will do that when I call tomorrow.

C'mon Saturday!!! I'm ready to be preggers!!

Elocin - sounds like they're going well

Williever - yay for being pg on your bday! Stick around little one!

ntl - good info. My fs isn't big on comp therapy either, but there's no harm in a couple of healthy diet tweaks!

Thanks for your thoughts on my results. I gave the clinic a call today and they insist that it's within the normal range and nothing to worry about. Guess I just have to wait and see what the us shows.

Okay - time for some jokes....because we ALL need a laugh!!!

Why does it take 50 million sperm to fertilize one egg?
Because they won't ask for directions either!

How many infertility patients does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Screw in a lightbulb! Hmmm . . . do you think it might help?

You know you are trying to get pregnant when someone asks you today's date and you reply "Day 21" . . .

How can you tell if a man has a high sperm count?
You have to chew before you swallow (sorry if too much!)

How does a FS like his/her eggs?
    Over 20mm!

Why did the FS cross the road?
Because there was an affluent, infertile woman in her 30s on the other side.

"Looteal" phase: The period of time between cycles when all of the insurance statements/doctor's bills come in from the beginning of the cycle. Also a time to save $$ for the upcoming cycle.

Hormonophobia - dread fear of saying the wrong thing to your wife when she is on fertility drugs

Pregtember - name of the month you hope to be pregnant by.

Multiple Dwarf Syndrome - a state caused by the ups and downs of fertility treatments, characterized by describing oneself as some combination of grumpy, sleepy, dopey, bashful, etc; especially effective descriptor if you include what we like to call the "alternative dwarves," such as horny, *****y, barfy, crampy, etc

Snow White Complex - the mental state following your careful examination of white undies and panty liners for indications of mucus or menstrual flow; any hint of red on white or confusing mucus signs gives you the absolute right to take on any or all of the emotions in the Multiple Dwarf Syndrome.

Hormotional - easily rattled emotional state brought on by hormone surges; especially symptomatic of women on fertility drugs

I've done that. Somebody asked me what day it was (obviously meaning Monday? Tuesday?) and I answered with 'ummm, cycle day 16 I think'

    Just a quickie

Kass - honestly, don't worry about your numbers. You may just be a bit slow to get started. Last cycle for us (which admittedly did suck), my CD6 E2 was only 289 (compared to 2500 at the same time previous cycle). Yes, my Puregon was bumped up (but 289 is pathetic!!!) but it took 5 days for me to start responding after that However, it was a pity that my clinic decided to trigger me that night. My point is for you not to panic yet, as your nurse said, you are still in the normal range and plenty can still happen in the next few days. I think you need to talk very sternly to your ovaries and demand for them to get their A into G!! Hang in there hun, you will be fine and good luck for your next BT and scan. Hoping your follies are getting their acts together.

    N2L - pmsl!!!!!!

    Hi Ladies
Wow I'm struggling to keep up...

n2l ~ thanks for the info and for the laughs All the best, for you.

JBM ~ exciting times - enjoy!!

Williever ~ Happy Birthday for yestie, I'm very happy for you that you had such a great day and everything is going so well. Hope it continues, all the best

Elocin ~ all the best for your cycle,

Saff ~ 3 days to go- exciting!! Goodluck hun

Goodluck everyone, hope you are all well and have a nice weekend.
AFM ~ Still waiting to be able to test - I think I have about 8days until AF would be due. Still had constipation type pain and problems - hoping its all good things. Also my nipples are quite sore. I guess there isnt a lot of difference though from previous cycles that have all ended in BFN. Can only hope though that this month we get a miracle!

Saffy - thanks. Hope you're not too bloated today!

Melissa - thank you, you've given me some perspective. It's so hard not to worry when things don't go the way you expect, but I'm feeling better now. Did you ever get any explanation for why you had such a different result last time?

JBM - hope the next few days fly by!

Screw in a lightbulb! Hmmm . . . do you think it might help?
    Sadly, so true.... thanks ntl!

Hi williever, elocin, blossom, and everyone I've missed!

    Hi again Ladies
I have a quick question - if I'm suspecting that I may be PG would I be silly to go to a high active zumba class tonight. On one hand I'm worried about risking anything because I've heard people say vigorous exercise is not good for an embryo trying to stick and then on the other hand Dr's say small amounts of exercise is good. Then I think we'll I can't stop my life when TTC and I may not even be PG and I want to lose weight.
Any suggestions ladies as to whether I should or shouldnt or whether you would?

Kass ~ FX'd your next scan is really great, think pos!

Loops - I am often asking the same thing. My advice would be to keep the exercise light. Rumba is rigorous and includes lots of jumping around. Do something less intense instead. But that is just what I would do.

I agree with Willi. Can you do some treadmill or similar?

Just called the clinic and my embies are doing well today. I have one in the early Morula stage, 2 in the Morula stage and 3 at early blastocyst stage. Scientist is happy with how they all look and is confident we'll have an awesome little embryo to transfer tomorrow.

to everyone... gotta run, am at work

From what I've read (from Google) it's the stage before they hit blasty... right where they need to be for day 4.

I have to be at the clinic at 9.30am for a 10am transfer.

How long does the actual transfer take? Did you have to hang around long afterwards?

It took 2 minutes and I was out. No fanfare. No fireworks.......quite a let down after waiting so long. Looking at the little egg was the most amazing thing though. Let me know how it goes! How are you feeling?
