    Andie78 and ThirdtimeLucky

Keta and Myturn again a massive for you both and hoping you are doing ok under the circumstances

Richichichi - Thats great that your transfer went well. Which TWW thread do you go too? Just wondering as I'm hoping my transfer will be soon so will need to know so I dont bust chops in here LOL

Vic This all is very hard on a couple and I commend you for thinking about you both first. I hope with everything that your transfer goes well and you get that elusive BFP we all desperately want so you can move on
I hope the time apart from your DH isnt too bad and abscence makes, your and his, heart grow fonder xox
I cant believe your FS didnt know you'd already been through this?! Re the 2 days transfer, I will prob be having that also (if I have a good number of eggs etc) and MissRen had success with a 2 days embie so and its the same for us!
    All the best hun

AFM - still plodding along, not sure if anything is happening. I have my u/sound and another b/t tomorrow so I guess I'll get my results then?? Anyone know what they are looking for and what happens next?? I mean I'm guessing its to see if I have any eggs growing and my hormone levels but not sure. I started to panic last night, what if there's nothing happening??!! But tried to chillax and take it one day and appointment at a time. Since I've never been through this its hard cos you dont know what to expect. Even when you have gone through it every time is different as to the amount of eggs etc but atleast you know it works or not. Sorry am going round in circles, fingers crossed for tomorrow! If they see heaps of eggies will they tell me collection date then and there or will they wait for another u/sound?????

Yay RhiChiChi - that's great ET is done, hope it nestles and implants nicely

Vic - sorry to hear about the tensions. Isn't it just the way, the pressure on self and each other and the way we protect ourselves emotionally leads to us inevitably arguing and having tension with the main support person/people we love the most. Glad EPU was good & with good numbers. My DD was a 2dt and she's about to turn 4, so it can work that early! Thinking of you, so great your mediation obviously works, do you have a mantra as well??

Mia - yes, you're right, the US will be to do a follicle count, check the follicle sizes and decide if they need to adjust any med's etc for your protocol. It will also help them determine the right day for trigger and EPU. I had the same "What if?!" fears that nothing would be happening and questioned if i was injecting right. You'll be fine for sure. They'll also probably check your endo lining for thickness development. Hopefully it's a great time and the FS tells you the results (if they don't, then make sure you ask...what can you see? Is that normal or what do you expect to see at this stage? What do the sizes mean, what size should the be for good egg etc.). I found first time round i didn't know what to ask, so asked nothing and ploded along through ignorance, other than from what the BB ladies told me of course!! GL. Look forward to hearing how it goes.
    xx

Thanks Kimbe that helps ease my anxiety
I just think will it be too much longer before they trigger me? I know it depends on tomorrows results but usually is it soon? I only have enough puregon (injection meds) until sunday thats all... Sorry for the q's

Vic - Sorry things are strained between you & your DH. It truly is a difficult time when going through AC. I know the pressure it has put me & my DH under and I think it has helped that we already have a DD, b/c if we were trying for our first I don't know where we'd be... ((hugs)) and fx this cycle is a goer for you two.

    Mia - I'll join the LTTCTWW - https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...45/index4.html

    Kimbe- thanks for your support.

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all doing ok xx

Thanks everyone for my goodluck messages, had such a busy week haven't had much time for persies but I have been keeping an eye on you all xo.
Well tomorrow is my first EPU and I have been a bit emotional today, I am scared, I was at CFC the other day and a guy went in to do his bit and no sooner did he go in the nurse knocked on the door and said he needed to go back to the hospital, didn't hear why but I heard him say she is going to be devastated, so i am assuming maybe there were no eggs. I am sooo scared that there will be no eggs in my follicles, I don't think I could handle that but trying to remain positive.
It's hard when you have never done EPU cause I don't know what to expect.
Hope you are all doing ok, I will check in tomorrow with EPU news.

They will give you more meds tomorrow I would think. Don't worry!!!

Kerbear - new things are always scary. I cried while I was sitting there waiting. Woke up crying both times but it will be fine.

They will tell you what is happening. There is a little bit of waitingbwfore the EPU. They take you blood pressure and have chats. Then you walk around and hope up on the bed/chair thing. They put the oxygen mask on and then the anathsthetic (sp??) is injected and before you know it you get a nice little nap. Wake up in a bed with lovely nurses being nice to you. Then you sit for a while until you're fully awake and rested and tou eat something and eventually get dressed and DH cone to get you. They tell you how many eggs when you are lying in there as soon as you wake up. But you also get the info to take away with you.
Well. TThat's how it was for me both times. So. Should be fairly similar. It will be fine. There will be something there I'm sure of it.
Good luck my sweet. I hope it goes well. Enjoy the time resting. Xxx

P.s. n2l I'm CD2 today. So can you add me to list. Thanks. First scan on the 27th feb for a FET this month.

    Hi Everyone!

Welcome Andie78 & ThirdtimeLucky you will find lots of fantastic & supportive ladies in here!

Mia01 - Goodluck tomorrow I'm sure things have been happening for you! It's hard not knowing what to expect, I have to say I am kind of lucky that I am a week or so behind you. I seem to get my answers from your experience so thanks

Keta, Amy and Myturn - I hope you are all doing ok

Richichichi - Glad to hear your transfer went ok, I will have my fingers crossed for you over your 2ww!

Vic261 - Good to hear your EPU went well, sorry to hear things are strained but I hope & pray with all my heart that this is your time

N2L - I hope you are doing ok If you are updating the list tomorrow would you mind adding me please? I will be CD3

Kerbear - Good luck for tomorrow

    Hi to everyone else!

AFM - I had my BT today (Synarel has been doing its job) so I will be starting on dexa & puregon on Sunday, I have been booked in for my BT, US & Intralipid infusion on the 27th Feb. I also found out that after EPU on top of the pessaries, I will be taking Clexane, Asprin & Estradot mx patches, should be interesting lol We are about to move house as well, & I am a little worried that I will be going in for EPU during moving week. We have a couple of weeks between the old house & the new house & will be staying with the inlaws. DH will handle it ok, it's more the nosey inlaws they mean well but they just don't think before they speak! DH is an only child and atm we live close by to them! they really do my head in so that is part of the reason we decided to not tell them about IVF, they wouldn't understand & would always be asking way too many questions for my liking. I am hoping I can keep all of this from them until especially since we don't know what to expect ourselves.

Sorry for the rant! I don't actually know too many people in my state (all my family & friends are interstate)

I hope you all have a great Friday!

hi all - thankyou for your welcomes! i am still getting a handle of where everyone is at, so please excuse me for a bit while i get to know everyone.

sorry to read that a few of you aren't doing so well at the moment, lt ttc can be so physically & emotionally draining sometimes (ok, well most of the time really). i really hope things turn around for you soon. like someone posted before, hopefully by me joining it will mean that one of you gets pushed out with a bfp.

meg76 - not just remotely helpful, but very helpful - thankyou. i think i have decided to try for a blasty, and you're right - the drop off rate is scary. i fought hard for those 6 frozen embies, to think i might just end up with 1, or if im lucky 2, is scary! i guess i wont know unless i try though.

afm - got a scan tuesday, looks like i will have a transfer next weekend sometime if one of my embies can make it to blast. quite nervous and wishing they had grown them to blast after epu, but not much i can do about that now. i will be on clexane & progesterone - those clexane jabs are a killer, not looking fwd to that.

hope you all have a relaxing weekend.

My u/sound results were 1follie at 13 another at 11 n 10 and all the rest at 8
They said its 50/50 for my cycle to b cancelled just like that no messing about. I was soooo devastated, they said i have to go back for anthr u/sound on monday to determine if it will go ahead. I ended up ringing my fs and she said to wat till monday and that i cld have 4-5 follies ready (min acceptable size is 17) she said i cld just b given more puregon to help d growth improve but that depends on if theres significant improvemnt on monday. Anyone had this experience wld appreciate any advice or votes of confidence, shld i feel defeated?

Mia - just a quick one on my iPad but follies usually grow about 1-2mm a day. Realistically, I think it would be unlikely the 8mm will go on and mature but the other three might
My FS will continue the cycle no matter what I get (i have a good fertilisation rate) but I know that some clinics cancel at three or less because they consider that number too low. I think you can ask to go ahead with the cycle but I guess you have to look at it that you will be paying for the whole procedure and end up with maybe one or two ( or maybe none) to transfer at the end. If they cancel earlier, you don't have to pay.

I guess it's a calculated risk, which, hopefully, your FS will talk you through.

Are they increasing your puregon? What dose are you on?

N2L - thanks for your reply, im soo sad about the whole thing. Going by the 1-2mm groqth per day id prob only hav 3 at the ideal size and may not b worth it. Will that mean i hav to wait a month befote starting again?? The fs said they wont increase the puregon at this stage, im on 300 at the moment.

I think it depends. My FS will do back-to-back cycles but others insist you wait. It will depend on your clinic.

Mia- that's why our first was cancelled as they varied in size so much. I was so upset but it meant on the 2nd cycle the got my dose better and went to EPU. It is hard to be positive when that happens but I know our FS would rather put the money to a good cycle that has more hope of the end result. Fingers crossed they might sort their stuff out and be ok.

EPU done today, we had 11follicles and got 6 eggies, I am so happy. Bring on fertilization and et.
Felt so sorry for DH, he was just about to finalize his side and the nurse was trying to ring him to say I was ready, poor bugger don't think it helped him to have the distraction of a vibrating phone in his pocket lol.

Vibrating phone? Perhaps it did help him???

    Thanks N2L

Kerbear - did they make you start all over again the month after? I see you didnt have to have a break inbetween so I'm hoping thats the case for me if it happens.
I was on the pill for the month before so I'm hoping I dont have to do all that again???!!!
What dose are you on now with your injections? My FS said that the max is 450 so I'm on a decent dose but obviously, I'm thinking, its not enough for me.
Great hall love!! Congrats!! Your poor DH! Mine would die of embarrassment hahahahaha
    for your embies
