Hi girls. On my phone so just a quick one.
Amy and miss B I hope your tummy feels better soon. I do my trigger tonight so may be looking similar soon. It could be interesting because I have a wedding to go to tomorrow.

Wow - hi everyone, it is so outrageously busy in here...i've not been in here since 2010 and before that, in 2007, and i don't recall it ever being so full of chatter! It's really wonderful to read the conversations (hope you don't mind lol). Have tried to read the last few pages to see what everyone's doing -am especially loving the monitoring list!!

In brief - I'm CD4, Day 3 GonalF. Antag Cycle @ WFC. Am not quite sure where my head or emotions are at with it all but am somehow managing with minimal people being aware of us actually doing it again.

    Hi Ladies
It sure is busy in here! I tried to come online last night but the site wasn't working for me. Saw the FS yesterday they want to do HRT FET but we need $4000 up front to proceed. We havent got that kind of money lying around and I start at a new teaching job on Monday so we will just have to slip into the background for now while we squirrel away some cash. I will be back as soon as I start taking the tablets, until then sticky vibes to you all. P.S I may stalk but not talk to see what happens with everyone hope thats okay

    Love Bee xx

    Hey girls!
So I haven't been able to get onto this site and missed a fair bit! Ill be brief for now as I'm on my iPad :-)

Had epu on fri & went well, recovery no worries & got 10 goggies. Nice surprise, considering they only said I had 5 good follies on the Monday at my scan. They up'd my meds so something must've worked.

This morning I have my embie transfer & I'm freaking out, Its like I have cold feet or something - questioning if in doing the right thing, is it meant to be- what if I'm no good as a parent if this worksetc....I guess the reality is after 3 years knowing in my heart that I couldn't conceive naturally , but trying anyway & now I'm closer than ever to being pregnant ! I guess technically today after my appt I will be preggo & just hope at least 1 embie sticks.

I wonder if any one else has felt scared before transfer (1st cycle)e??

I also made the decision to transfer 2 embies which is debatable with peeps too.....

I hope everyone's doing ok with everything you are all going thru & look fwd to reading some positive results over the next couple of weeks!

    Hi ladies,

Missren, GL for your transfer this morning! I'm not sure if you've had it already, so if you have I hope everything went well for you. The embie transfer is an emotional time for me personally, simply knowing that a 'live' little embie is being implanted in me with the potential of becoming a bigger fetus and then a baby. It's a pretty emotional and somewhat scary time for some. I was pretty scared the first time around as I remember thinking, there's no going back! But lots of excitement and expectation too for most, although in the first cycle I didn't have much excitement or expectation as the IVF counsellor told me it probably wouldn't happen the first time, in fact she said it took 3 or 4 attempts before falling pg. Well, I did get pg on the first cycle so I proved all of them wrong! GL sweetie, I hope this cycle is successful for you

Bee, I hope you're able to save the money soon hun, we'll all be waiting for you! I hope your dad and hubby continue to do well

Kimbe, GL with your jabbing hunni xoxox

AFM, I'm starting to lose the plot a little bit here. Some mornings I wake up feeling blehhhhh and some I wake up feeling 'normal'. I never thought this would be so hard, and this is my 3rd time in the 2WW! It's so weird but thinking about it all is now driving me bonkers. I've spent a small fortune on mags, and you'd think running around after DS would take my mind of it all, but NOPE. At least it's Sunday........I'm thinking of peeing on the stick tomorrow Ah well, maybe I should just take some valium and go to sleep till BT time? hahahahahaha just kidding girls.

Hello to all my beautiful friends in here, sending you all lots and lots of and For those with little embies on board, may they grow stronger and stronger each day and stick like glue, for those still jabbing and spraying and waiting I hope the follies grow nice and big for you (and lots of them too, w/o the OHSS of course) and for those waiting to do another cycle, I really hope and pray the next cycle brings you that much wanted BFP xoxox

    Have a great day everyone

Far Out!!! Its amazing how much one misses if the dont log on for a day.

Miss.B - I hope your tummy is feeling better. Its just awful how bloated we get. Last stim I had 2 weeks holidays from work, but this next time I wont. God knows what I am going to be able to wear to work As it is my clothes are tight from all the meds I am already. I always start out feeling so postive after the transfer then as the days slowly go by, my mind goes a bit mentle and I swing between thinking its not working, but still talking to my tummy. Stupid TWW! Good luck it you decide to POAS tomorrow.

Missren - I hope your taking it easy after your transfer. Its definately an emotional ride. Let me know what you had trans and I will update you on the list x

Kimbe - Welcome to our busy thread. May your stay be short but sweet. There are heaps of great girls on here all doing what your doing so its a great place for support and even just to waffle on lol.

Bee27 - Good luck for your new job tomorrow. Hopefully non of us will be here when you get back iykwim lol. Feel free to stalk us all

LiseyT - good luck for your BT tomorrow. its where you need and want to be.

Jane - Good luck for your trans tomorrow. We will be stalking you.

Keta - Good luck for your EPU if its tomorrow. We will be stalking you too.

Blossom & Janie71 - Congratulations for being PUPO. Sending you both lots and lots of

Hi Saffy, N2L, Amy, Myturn, Mia, and everyone else I may of missed.

AFM - Nothing much to report. Just waiting to see FS next Thursday. Had house full of visitors since Thursday. My niece who is 4 has been staying and makes me want a baby even more now. The house seems so empty without a little one running around, being so active and laughing. DH and I had good talks this weekend about IVF and am so pleased we are in the same head space. Normally I am flying ahead and it takes him a while to cathc up, but we are all good.

    Have a great Sunday girls.

Couldn't post yesterday, I even removed the app and put it back on my phone thinking that would fix it lol.

Myturn- hope you feel better soon honey, make sure you get some rest xo

I hope everyone is traveling along ok.

I am feeling much better today, just find if I do to much I get sore. Can't believe how many days this has made me feel so awful and in pain but am hoping it's all for a good cause.

Like you missb this wait is driving me insane!!!! I have a whole week before I can even think of doing a test early argh. I just hope everyday that DH swimmers found an egg and borrowed right on in lol. Good thing I have to focus on getting a presentation ready for a course I am studying through work.

I hope everyone's embies are sticking and follies are growing and not causing to much pain to you.

    Hi All,

Vic am the same CD as Saffy if that helps! AM hoping for short and sweet too...not long till your appointment, how's the excitment management going?!?!

Mia - Synarel is yuck, you are no doubt well supported by many of us in the worry of getting it right first squirt GL with it!

MissB & Amy - is the bloating OHSS symptomatic? What can you do about it? Amy, it sounds really horrible...pain to sit! Hopefully not much longer to wait for you both.

MisRen - I was totally scared on both ET's to date (and my second one was long & horribly painful due to "pathetically skilled ET specialist"). I like to think the fear helps pump the hormones through the system though and is probably good to have.

Everyone else - what can be said!! Hope the time passess postively quickly for you all xx

AFM - tomorrow morning is the first Orgalutran injection. Am scared of it hurting, silly i know but the nurse said it's just like the HcG and i'll be fine, but my memory of the HcG was that it stung and the pain lasted for some time afterward. I hope the nurse is wrong, cause the HcG was the one off, not everyday like the Org is going to be...the BT Tues and US Thurs when they'll let me know how the follies are going!

sorry I'm too tired trying to figure out how to make my avatar so I can't be bothered with persies.... (Sorry!!) but I do hope everyone is well.... xxx
just reread this and realised how rude it sounded...! sorry guys.... totally in my own head today

anyway.... been on the computer all day playing with doll maker sites trying to get an avatar going.... more difficult than it looks you know!!!

    anyway.... back to topic...

Kimbe.... TBH... the orgalutran does sting a little bit - but more that it is itchy afterwards for a little while. I was taking them at night so I don't know how long it lasted, but make sure you push out the air first - I didn't the first time and ended up with a big lump under my skin....... oops!! lol...

Misren - I found ET fine - just a bit like a weird pap smear.... funniest thing was that my FS (who also did the transfer) gave me a sheet to put over me, and I though "thank goodness"... until I realised there was a big whole in the middle - one of those surgery sheets, so he could see through the gap to my girly bits..... LMAO.....!! Try not to overthink the rest of it, I am sure that ALL women worry about whether they will be good mums and whether they are ready when they get preg. You just have a head start cause you KNOW a fertilised ova is in there!! Hope it went well xxx

Mia - how's the snorting going??? I do find waking up early on weekends for drugs annoying, but.... as you say... it's worth it in the end!! I did 8am and 8pm this time.... but a pain when I go out, means I need to take it with me. Last time I did 7.30, but as it was school holidays this time, I didn't want to wake up SOOO early!! My clinic is similar to Janie's - send me on my way after ET and quick discussion with nurses - felt weird standing up so quickly!

Vic - glad to hear that you feel on the same page with DH - I feel mine is sometimes well behind me too.... one reason why I get him to come to the ultrasounds, even though he doesn't need to be there, it makes him remain part of it, and hear everything at the same time I do.
You are doing an awesome job of the list - a big responsibility though, so if you get sick of it make sure you pass it on to one of us. We are more than happy to help if you've had enough. I think if it makes it easier, you just change the dates, and we PM you with any changes and "additional" information - so you don't have to be fully responsible for scrolling through everything and trying to figure it out!! There's too many of us for you to be on top of everything!!

Kerbear - the tww does suck - try and keep busy - if you can!! I was obsessed with all things bellybelly probably will be next week too!!

Miss B - hoping you are not going too crazy this arvo...!! good luck if you POAS today! here's hoping it's all good

Bee - good luck with the new job! We will stalk you too when you are ready to be back in here.... and as vic said... hopefully we wont be.... IYKWIM.... lol.... if we are, well.... we'll be looking for the extra support!!

Keta - how did the trigger go??? and the wedding??? good luck for ET, hopefully the embies grow well and there's a couple of frosties left xxx

Amy JB - How are you feeling??? tummy still exploded??

Jane - good luck for ET tomorrow morning!!!

liseyt - sorry the news is not what you had hoped..... happened to me last cycle and they put the meds up eventually - and we got there eventually.... you will too. I too have another US tomorrow to see where they are at. Enjoy the cig - I suppose you will have to get used to not having them soon, so a couple now isn't the end of the world..... (even if I don't understand the fascination)

    Janie - yay for PUPO

goodness me - I hope I got the updates right!! So sorry if I missed anyone... big to all. Although I guess I have to accept that only some of us will be lucky this time - here's hoping that this is the "lucky" year for everyone.

AFM - another US in the morning (monday). On friday the nurse said she thought they may have grown enough by then (but you never know), my guess (going by last time) is trigger will be tuesday, for thursday EPU and saturday ET (or something like that....) Which works well for me, as I have a work meeting on wednesday which I'd prefer not to miss.... but if I have to... well..... i'd prefer to be on maternity leave anyway - so we all know what the priority is!!!

My ovaries are still talking to me today, but I have spent most of the day on the couch. Bit worried about the sore throat and sneezes that have started this arvo - but at least it means I will have an excuse for the days off if anyone from work asks!!

Does anyone know if the hormones make you more vulnerable to picking up infections?? I know it can in early pregnancy - it's just weird that I got sick during both cycles.... awfully coincidental (and a right royal pain in the butt!!!!) I was coughing my guts up for weeks after the last one and I REALLY REALLY want to enjoy this one more... especially as I have such a good feeling this time.

Missb - Thanks so much for your advice there & I hope the rest of your tww goes so fast with a huge giant BFP. I imagine no matter how many times you go through it it never gets any easier. I'm so glad you proved people wrong on your 1st cycle. I truly hope I can do the same.

Vic261- thanks & yep took it very easy today! I was so scared to wee in case it fell out - I know it won't but boy does ure imagination go wild ! Good luck for your appt at the fs!

Hi kimbe, thanku & good to hear I'm not alone, but not great with your horrif experience. I must admit it wasn't the most pleasant experience/feeling! But for it to be prolonged unessesarily ouch... The things we put ourselves thru :-D so I put an ice pack on my guts after I did the org injection & that worked really well for me - took the little sting away. Good luck w/the stabbing !

AFM - im currently PUPO - so had my 1st et this morn, was really scared, nervous, cold feet etc - which is completely not me. Mum came with me & once it was done felt relief & hungry!!! So I only had 1 embie transferred (4cell ?) & out of 10 eggs only 4 fertilized & then 1 of them dropped off so only got 3 in the end. 2 on ice hopefully...Doc (not my normal fs) didn't really give me a choice for qty so was fine with that 1 transferred in the end. All in all crampy, relieved & just had to google how to do that jelly stuff as the information is a little lacking at my clinic! Thank god for dr google. I believe the "mood" fun begins now. got bt on 13/2.

Take care everyone & hope the week goes well, bt's are positive, loads of eggs produced & lots of successfully pain free et's .

(ps I'm new at all this terminology /forum correspondence )

    Hi girls,

Miss B - Your posts always make me smile You are very kind hearted and great with words.

Kimbe- No OHSS here, have had that checked out. I was really really bloated last time and still only got 11 eggs so I think I just swell up like a balloon! My boobs are huge as well Im normally an F cup as it is but at the moment I look like a freakin cartoon character, they hard all hard and mega mega sore

Had my blood test again this morning, all the roads around my clinic wrre closed because of a triathlon so it was a mammoth task to even get there. Nurse called today and said that my Oestrogen is 5400, not sure if this is good or not but its gone from 2400 to 5400 is 3 days! Off to have another blood test and ultrasound tomorrow and then catching up with the lovely Keta for lunch

Oh and I meant to say kimbe, my clinic hyped me up for the orgalutran needles and I was scared s******s when I had to do one but it was fine. The only thing I find a bit annoying is the needles feel a bit blunt so you have to push a bit harder to get them in.

    Hi ladies,

Myturn, noooooooooo!! Sore throat go away! That's no good hun, being sick while you're TTC really sucks. I remember in my first pg, I was sick soooo much, I got a cold pretty much straight away, then sort of recovered and then 2 weeks later it was back again. My doc said that the body's immune system kinda goes outa window! I'm guessing with you it's the drugs and stress of it all taking its toll on your wee body. Hope you're feeling better soon You're heading for a very exciting week next week!! Woo hoo! Can't wait to hear all about it hun

Vic, I hear ya on the bloating! I'm not a flat tummy person anyway, but these IVF cycles (except my FET cycle) make me so bloated! I hate sucking in my tummy when DF's kids are around, just don't want to tell them anything yet. And great to hear your hubby is on the same page as you hun! That's always a huge positive. GL with your FS app. on Thursday hun

Kerbear, praying your DH's swimmers found that beautiful eggie of yours!!

Mia, thanks hunni I'm watching the tennis too (on and off! lol)

Kimbe, my orgalutran jabs were a bit more painful than the puregon, but easier as the dose is pre measured so you just jab away! GL with it hun, hope you grow heaps of nice follies

Missren, congrats hunni on being PUPO!!!! Well done to you, FX is will bring you that lovely BFP

Amy, thanks gorgeous lady!! Are you still doing the EPU on the 1st? I'm not sure about the oestrogen levels hun..

    Hello to everyone else!

AFM, I went and bought a 3 pack HPT and a digital one. I was going to test tomorrow morning, and keep testing every day till BT day, and use the digital one on Thursday. Well, I gave in and peed on the stick, in the afternoon, and I got a line.......I am so freaking out right now! I am so scared it's gonna get lighter or worse, disappear altogether. It came up pretty quickly and it was clearly visible. This wouldn't be a false + from the progesterone gel? The first time I tested was 3 days post transfer (false + as it was still the trigger ) then I waited 2 days and tested on Friday this week and it was def. a negative (so 6 days post transfer). Today is 8 days post transfer. I'm gonna test again with first pee tomorrow morning to see if the line is still there. Scared ****less!

    b xxoxo
