Coasting is when they give you the antagonist longer in the hope the smaller follies will catch up.

Oh OK, no, they told me no more injections now to stimulate the follies, they are concentrating on the 6 they're happy with. I think they don't want to stimulate any more as one is quite big and needs to come out soon. So had my trigger shot today already. The other 6 mm ones are too small.

    Hi Lovely ladies
Sorry Im working night shift this week...hence the 2am post! I am reading all your comments but im really bad at remembering when it comes to personals. I have made a date to see FS next week on Friday. Hopefully she can tell us how our FET will work with my non-existent cycle and how much it will cost. I am excited but like so many of us that have to work hard to conceive so I dont get carried away. I was only 25 when i had my first round which failed becuase they didnt give me enough drugs for fear of OHSS (my ovaries are about 4 times normal size and contain over 100 small follicles). The next round they used the antaganist and got 20+ eggs then using ICSI 5 embryos...2 top notch and 3 a little less so. Our DS was one of the top ones. We would really like to do a round in March but my dad has terminal cancer that was diagnosed christmas eve eve and it depends on whats happening at the time with him. I had a tough pregnancy last time and dad asked me not to have any more kids because he doesnt want me to jeopardise my health but at the same time I want Jacob to have a sibling if I can....if i use up all the bubsicles with no luck then we will rethink the plan I guess.
Fingers crossed to those of you with embies on board (N2L and vic i think) I pray they stick like glue

    Kerbear, any news?

N2L, maybe if you squint the faint will look darker xx

    Vic, hows things going?

MIa, you are at westmead aren't you? If so I have an US appointment on fri 27th at 8:30. might see you there!

Bee, That's terrible news about your dad, I hope that he doesnt suffer and that you enjoy your time with him. Noone can teel you not to try again, because we all know that we are pretty much willing to do anything for a bub or bub No 2. But what has your FS said about your health and another pregnancy?

    Hi to everyone else

liseyT My appointment is not till 10.30 I would have loved to catch up! LOL Even though I dont know you we're all here going through the same/similar stuff.
Anyways hope your US goes well. If it takes awhile we "may" bump into each other but I doubt it will be delayed by 2 hours LOL
Hey, is the u/s in the actual FC area or do you have to go into westmead hospital in the womens health area? Just asking cos I had to go to that area (womens health) when I had my m/c and have bad memories for obvious reasons but hopefully IF its there I'll have better ones..

    Hi Girls

Keta - Good luck for your BT today.

Bee - Good luck with your appointment next week. So very sorry to hear about your dad

Miss B - Good luck for your EPU tomorrow morning. We are all here for you and that you have a great pick up with lots of good quality eggs. Its an exciting step, so have faith.

Ker - My first scan was on cd8, so I think that you still have heaps of time, and its good they checked you early enough to up your meds. I know what you mean about staying positive for only so long and then we all need to have a good cry, cuddles from our DP/DF/DH, brush ourselves and get back into it. It feels so long when we have to wait a whole month (longer if you dont O every 28 days) just for a window of opportunity. 2.5 years is a lot of "next months" Its amazing how one day we can be in the depths of despair and the next result comes in and we are over the moon.

N2L - Hows your TWW going?

    Hi to everyone else.

AFM - Still struggling with the waiting game. Went for a walk this morning around 6am and the sunrise was spectacular over the sea. I was listing all the things I was grateful for and talking to my little emby. DH called last night to say he missed both his angels. I am worried this time even more now as he is invested. I really wanted him to last time and he just couldn't bring himself to and now this time he is fully on board. *sigh* I cant believe that I still have another week to wait. Tick...tick...tick...

Just got a text from DH saying that he has to go away for work for 5 weeks. Not too sure when. As if there is not enough pressure on us for this little one to stick, that is going to throw a spanner in the works if we have to try again. Why does it all have to be frustratingly hard. Is it bad enough I need IVF, without throwing in a missing DH for 5 weeks. And we are due for a stim cycle next time, so he is very much needed.

Hi Saffy - welcome back - although as n2l has said, sorry to see you've had to join us again.

vic261 -so cute DH is on board and chatting to embie with you - FX it sticks and all your fears are unfounded... unfortunately there not much else you can do but wait!!! no use worrying about when he has to go away until you know... and hopefully it won't be an issue anyway. xxx (ps... thanks for keeping our list up to date - it really helps xxx)

liseyt - glad the stabbing was okay today Hope you're feeling a bit better xxx

miss b - good luck with the EPU.... ......... but I too say "butt it out!!" lol...

Bee27 - sorry to hear about your dad. Understandable he will be anxious for you, but you can't do what 'others' want, it needs to be what is right for you and DH.
n2l - stop poas! you knew it was too early when you started. .... it's a waste of money if nothing else!! lol

hello to everyone else, I hope you are all feeling fine.

AFM.... still waiting... only thing is I am now anxious that I have not bled enough.... since I had the first scan I can't possibly see how I have lost 4mm of lining.... i've nearly finished, but what if it's not thin enough!? and what does that mean anyway!? I just want my body to get it's act together.... I feel like it's all my fault and if I hadn't let myself get to this state in the first place my body would be doing what it's supposed to be doing and I wouldn't be putting DH through all this crap.
sorry - I think I just got started and realised that hidden deep down I'm still feeling sorry for myself and guilty and ashamed and all that crap. guess i'll have to deal with all that one day.

but for now... I've actually had a nice day, and it's only 36 hours ish (lol) until I get the next US and SURELY it will be okay by then.
better nick off and start to get dinner ready for my lovely husband.... whom.... although he has been annoying me this week, I do love very much

Hey y'all, just thought I'd poke a toe in here and let you know I will be actively joining in soon! Kind of excited, a bit sad, trying to be positive.
First FS appt is on 9th Feb, and I think we will most likely be looking at ICSI.
I'm sure I'll soon be a pro at all this and up on the lingo, but for now I'll be quiet onlooker until things start up

Best of luck to us all

Hey girls, at work- so can't chat much.

    quick question?

I have been having lucrin since 11/1 and started puregon this am (6:30) and have started bleeding a bit today. Ignored it early but getting a bit heavier- called FC but closed. should I be worried? what could it be?

check in later for proper talks xx

welcome ree browse all you like - and feel free to ask questions any time
good luck! only a couple of weeks to go till your appointment and hopefully you will be able to get some answers and action happening! xx

liseyt - I had to check what cycle day you were at... but it does sound weird? maybe it just hadn't finished yet? and the meds caused it to have a hissy fit for a minute?? I guess all you can do is wait until the morning - and call as soon as the nurses get in. Hopefully someone here knows something that can help, but if not, it will be okay - as my DH would say " you can only do what your body lets you do". big xxx

which reminds me... guess i'd better go out for a walk.. after gorging 5 mini boxes of smarties....

tried to PM you, but you haven't been around long enough to PM yet so had to stick it here for all the world to see...... lol...

anyway... I searched Dr Google for you (using the following search criteria (in case you want to check it later) lucrin ivf bleeding once starting on puregon)...... lol.... found something from the Pacific Fertility Centre that said it's normal to have spotting about a week to 10 days after starting on the syneral or lucrin.... was quite an interesting read actually... and reassured me about my own lack of progress!

hope that helps!! maybe someone else has some experience that can confirm this... but if not I'd still call the nurses to check in the morning anyway - it's important that they know how your body is reacting to everything anyway! xxx

keep busy and work hard in the meantime....

clearly that walk I was going to take is not happening...lol!.
