Juniper, good luck with appt tomorrow hun hope you get some good news.
If you get any advice, or ideas on how to ease period pain I would love to know!
I have suffered severe AF cramping since I was 14yo. Most of my sick days from work are the 1st days of my period.
Moonflower ~ thanks, the headaches have eased. It was a real doozy this AF yuk! Im glad you're happy! Stay positive and FX xo
BJ ~ So sorry you are I will be this 1 sticks - he or she will be a fighter. Will have F and TX and big hugs
Sharee ~ Hope everything has gone well today. Yep its great that you don't have to do Synarel anymore - im doing it now and can't wait until my EPU for that reason too lol. All the best hun.
Wishingbaby ~ thank you. GL for Fri, will have FX for you!
Terry ~ Hoping it's a natural BFP for you, anything's possible! F and TX
Brunette ~ Hi. Great to see you again, hope you get to do a FET soon.
Murraycod ~ Yeh i'm excited about starting Puregon - 1 step closer to my BFP! They have ^ my dose from 250iu to 300iu because last cycle I only got 6 eggs which was better than nothing but we didnt get any to freeze in the end. Here's hoping it helps!!
So sorry about the phone call - ive been there and its a pain when you already know the result. Im so glad you can do a cycle in April . Straight after my last cycle I had a light AF and then the following 2 were the bad ones but everyones different you'll get through it. I find the Nurofen Period Pain tablets work.
Hope Aril comes round quick for you xo
Juniper ~ All the best tomorrow!
Emerald ~ How are you going?
Hi to anyone ive missed and I hope everyone is have a nice Australia Day!!
AFM ~ I think Im a little too excited about starting jabbing tomorrow lol. Also this weekend DH and I have combined 30th birthday party so excited about that 2. Can being too excited be detrimental to a cycle??
I'm so sorry BJ - I have everything crossed this little one is a fighter. I am all done with EPU, and besides being super sleepy and feeling lke someone drove a truck into my stomach I am fine. Not nearly as bad as I had expected.
murraycod, I've had it ever since puberty too and it has gotten progressively worse, especially over the last 2 years. I've reached a point now where I'm missing 3 days of work each month. I'm just lucky I have a very understanding employer who puts up with it...
Loops, Happy Birthday to you and your DH. I don't think the excitement will hurt!
BJ - Your EPU sounds horrible. All of mine have been done under a general. I didn't even know until recently that other clinics do them under sedation only. I see you're from the Gold Coast; I'm in Brisbane. I thought it was only the southern states that used sedation only but obviously not. I wonder whether anyone else from Brisbane has had sedation ... Keep your chin up. On the positive side, you know that you and your DH can fertilise an embryo and FX that it is a nice strong one
Sharee - Great news about your EPU. Nine eggs is a good result. Are you planning a 3-day or 5-day transfer?
Murraycod - Sorry, have I missed something? Did your cycle not work? Your ticker says you have 2 days to go till testing. I'm on holidays and my mind is not exactly working 100% so apologies ...
Seems like a lot has been going on in here I'll try and do as many personal as possible
Murraycod stay postive untill you get that blood test all hope is not lots I its all ok
Sharee well done hope that the transfer goes as well as the pick up
Loops12 enjoy your party. They say the more normal you live life the better so don't beat yourself up. You don't sound crazy wanting to start the gabs its giving you back some sort of control and you also know that your nearly over the first hurdle. Good luck and may you grow some really nice follies.
juniper76 hope your appoitment goes well and you get the answers you are after
BJ sorry to hear that EPU was so traumatic for you. I think you should talk to your FS maybe they didn't give you enough anasthetic you really shouldn't have been in all that pain
Sorry if I've missed anyone else
AFM still no AF did a POAS it was negative so I just think that my body is going through changes once again. Given it was so early last time it might be opposite this time. Anyway I was talking with DH and if it doesn't arrive by the weekend I'll go in and see my doctor
Brunette I do still have until Friday BT, but am not at all confident my cycle worked, but it's all good, I'm at peace with whatever result I get on Friday, but the AF pains started over a week ago, I think the Crinone pessaries are holding AF off!!
I was naughty naughty and POAS a few days ago too, which too made me feel quite depressed. I can promie everyone right now I wont to that again next time!
Those evil sticks just seem to complicate things, if I hadn't of POAS'd I would of prob handled things so much better.
FGS, take it from me, do not POAS early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Terry sorry you got a BFN testing too, it would be great, that if we weren't UTD, AF would just arrive on time and get it over and done with! I have heard that going through these stim cycles can muck our bodies up a bit, but I do hope you just tested early XXX
Juniper I know exactly how you feel, my AF has gotten more painfull over the years too. I had a laproscopy done when I was 18 and the Gyn in Ballarat told me that both of my fallopian tubes were completely retarded and I had so much scar tissue from when I had appendix out, it had grown around by bowel and ovareis.
So 3yrs ago DH and I discussed with my new Gyn in Mildura about having lap and getting my tubes removed to start IVF, when I had the Lap, Gyn told me both tubes were perfect, tiniest bit of scar tissue not enough to cause anything wrong, my ovaries were healthy...no endo...
So as you can imagine, 2 completely diff results, I dunno what to beleive! But I sure know the AF pain is awfull!!
And I'm still not preggo!
Moonflower we are all thinking of you today, roll on a BFP to inspire us honey!!!!
Hiya, running behind at work, so just a quick one to let you know how this morning went. First off, we got there 30 min late thanks to the traffic (hence me running behind at work). Fortunately it wasn't a problem. I decided to start by waiting to see what he said about last cycle. After taking some time to review my chart he came to the conclusion that he didn't know what to try next and suggested referring me to another Dr in the clinic. At that point I mentioned I was keen to look into the cause of my AF pain and he admitted that, while he could do the lap to determine if I have endo, he couldn't remove it if he found it and the Dr he was referring me to could do both. So, we stopped in at the other Dr's office on the way out and I couldn't believe our luck when the receptionist said she'd just had a cancellation and would I like to come in on Monday?! So, I'll let you know how Monday's appointment goes next week...
Sharee- I'm so glad that your EPU went much much better than mine. That's a great result honey. Goodluck and fingers crossed that those little embies keep growing strong and your ET goes just as smooth.
Well I got a call at 9am this morning letting me know that they decided that today would be best for my ET! So I was at work for a grand total of 5 mins and then left again. So I just had an apparantly perfect looking 4 cell 2 day embryo transfered and I am just trying my hardest to forget about everything else for now and just try to be positive for my little emby. BT on the 10th.....I guess I'm officially a 2ww now.
Well done BJ - hope you are feeling better after your crappy time during collection.
Hopefully I will be joining you in the wait tomorrow.
The nurse called and booked me in for egg tranfer tomorrow morning. Apparently I have to wait until tomorrow to find out how many of my nine eggs fertilised though
Sharee - that's a bit rough....they could at least have given u an update on how they were going! But tomorrow will come soon enough. I'm sure everything will be great
Does anyone know if there is a 2ww thread going? I can't find it!
BJ - I am sorry that you had such a bad experience with your EPU... my FS said that they use sedation for everyone - except in instances where they see you're in too much pain or move around too much etc... I actually don't know what happened for me... because I DEFINITELY remember the beginning of it all.. I remember them inserting the speculum and me wriggling and saying "OW" - and I also remember them using a bottle of water 'down there' - So I wonder if they upp-ed my dose? coz I don't remember the rest. But I did feel sick later...
Sharee - sucks that they couldn't telly ou how many eggs fertilised - wouldn't read too much into it though! My FS called me the morning after to let me know - but they then didn't check on them until day before ET
Juniper - I hope this new Dr can give you the answers you need!! You poor thing!!
Bj - I will be that this embryo is the one it is a fighter!!!
Sharee - good luck for tomorrow with EPU
Loops - How is the jabbing going hehe! You know something my EPU is on the 9th if all goes well how close are we if all goes to plan!!!
Murraycod - You naughty lil thing POAS!!!! Only 2 days till test day I hope everything turns around and gives you a big smile
FGS - its soo good to see you in the 2ww how is it over there are you pulling your hair out yet
terry - where are you at now?
AFM - Start jabbing away Friday then have scan on the 4th Feb and if all goes to plan (knowing my ovaries this is never the case stupid OHSS or no follies producing) then EPU will be the 9th Feb.. Still sniffing away till day before EPU and poor DH is putting up with my massive mood swings they are quite bad!!
There are so many of us doing ET's so close together this month!..... I'm praying that someone starts that BFP ball rolling real soon...i haven't put anyone on "THE LIST" for awhile...i will probably start a new one for 2010....could people please let me know their BT date for pregnancy....just to make it easier for everyone to know where everyone is at..... any BFP's will go on the list!!! Lets start girls!!
GL everybody!!!
AFM - had my first scan today...so far 8 follies, only two are over 16mm the rest are under 12mm.......what a tragic result...trying to keep optimistic as i have another scan on Friday..see how it goes...EPU is approximately next Wednesday at this stage..It will be confirmed after my next scan....i'll keep you posted, in the meantime lets start the lists!!!

Hi guys,
back from my embryo transfer. They tranferred a 2 day, 4 cell, grade 2 embryo.
I have another 4 grade 2 and 3s for freezing.
What a strange and wonderful experience to actually see an embryo that may become my baby one day!
Anyway I guess I'm PUPO
