Just a reminder to all: all LTers love seeing a fellow LTer achieve that longed-for BFP, and we all find hope in one of our own having success in this difficult journey. But please remember that there are those who cycled with you who may not have received good news at the end of their cycle. Please do not post baby/child/pg tickers or pg related signatures (eg blinking BFP icons) etc in this forum out of respect for them.
As it's easy to forget to remove your ticker, please be advised that we will remove it for you if it's posted in here.
Brunette, yes, they know. My work Christmas party was the same day of my transfer, so when I found out that morning the transfer was cancelled I had to let them know I wouldn't be at the party. I sent an sms to my regional manager, but he called for an explanation (which he probably regretted since I was crying uncontrollably the whole time). They also know I took the following week off work for the same reason (the week of Christmas - I was supposed to work Mon-Thurs). When I called in sick that Monday my group manager actually said they hadn't expected to hear from me under the circumstances...
Juniper I hope that you are feeling better now XXX I dread the thaught of what having a cancelled transfer feels like, I'm so sorry.
Girls wish me luck, had my last Orgalutran tonight, and have Ovidrel trigger at 4:10am in the morning, things are starting to move quickly and I have to admit I am completely terrified of the EPU. Dunno why, just nervous I guess.
I hope that everyone is well, have a great rest of the weekend XXXXX
Hi Murraycod ~ thanks for your wishes. All the best for your triggers and EPU. Hoping you get lots of eggs! I know its nerve racking but sounds like you will get a few eggs and it only takes one so hang in there. GL!!
Thought I might do a quick intro for those of you that don't know me... before I start rambling on!
25 yo - TTC since Jan 06 - currently on first Stim cycle since 31st Dec, so on day 10? - had my first scan and bloods on Friday the 8th showing 10 and 12 follies - but much too small (8-10 should be 18-22) - upped my gonal-f from 150 - 225, took me off orgalutran - back on orgalutran tonight for scan and bloods on Tuesday 12th - fingers x'd goes well...
Hey MURRAYCOD... Reeeeelax woman! It will be ok - over in a flash... positive thoughts and breaaathe! (Says me who is in total panic mode about follie sizes)
Best of luck with your trigger injection at 4:10 in the morning! That's craziness!
I am so nervous about this follicle size thing... I just hope that this increase in Gonal-F and a little bit of time makes all the difference and I can EPU at the end of this week... I feel like I have no control and it's SCARY!
FGS, hun, hope you are going alright with those extra inj, I was a bit sad to see you not go in for EPU with me on Monday, but hey, we will still get through this, I will be heading off early to Adelaide tomorrow, so this will prob be the last chance I get to post until arnd Tues, so girl goodluck with your next scan, I'm sure everything will be fine XX
I haven't been in here for a while, I have been trying not to become obsessive during this my first IVF cycle - it hasn't worked
My first scan to check that I was supressed found a cyst, but blood tests cleared me to start injections.
So I am on day five of my gonal f injections, my DH is a pro at them now- I still can't bring myself to do it! still on two sniffs of synarel a day and have my second scan on Friday.
I'm feeling a little bloated but otherwise fine - which has me paranoid the gonal f isn't working and then I have this new cyst to worry about but I am proud of myself for coming this far (I know I haven't gotten to the really hard stuff yet!)
I'm going to read through and catch up on everyone elses news now!
Hi ladies ,
I dont know if i have posted this in the right place as im pretty new to this. ( will not really ) i come and go from here but i mainly just read what you all have written.
Ive been doing the IVF program now for 12 months, and boy have we been on the roller coaster ride!, well we are about to embark again for the last time as we really cant afford it any longer. Over the past 12 months we have done 3 cycles, the 1st cycle we started was on the lowest doses of Gonal F, and turned out that i was a por responder so the cycle was canceled, 2nd attempt, Dr increased the dose from 150 to 225 we got to EPU but didnt even get 1 egg, let me tell you i balled my eye's out for weeks over that one! 3rd try, increased the gonal F again to 300 and we got 1 little egg! and fertilized! we had egg transfer and boy, the 2 ww near kill me but got through it , right up ,until day b4 , prg blood test and who should arrive AF!!! well now we have appointment for FS tomorrow and starting IVF all over again in around 2 weeks.do you think and going from past treatments, that if we up the dose of the gonal F a bit more there could be the chance of a little more eggs? we do hope so........

Hi Lovely ladies
WOW alot going on in here. Im at work so I have to keep it short sorry
Emerald - Well done on those embies you must be very happy, FX for you they divide nicely over the next couple of days. I would like to know that too - whether you can ask for them to be frozen earlier if they look like they may not make it to blasty - good question!
Random Act Of Kindness - I saw that on someone elses too and now finally know what it is. You are totally deserving of this hon xoxo
Miss K ~ LOL, im glad I make you smile. Thinking of you today, FX and looking forward to hearing your results xoxo
Melissal ~ all the best with the scan. Its quite interesting going to a scan I find a bit nerve racking but it will be over before you know it. FX and TX that you have some good follies growing.
Hi to the newbies and welcome. All the best for your cycles
Thanks to all you amazing people who have wished me well today and tommorrow. GL everyone with whatever stage you are at xoxo
i spoke to oncology registrar and she confirmed mums cancer is now locally advanced.she may also have to wait an extra month for surgery.the lump in lymph nodes is bigger than i thought and her ct and bone scan results cant rule out totally cancer anywhere else. as results werent clear enough due to other health problems
Trubabe, I'll keep your mum in my prayers. I hope the next appointment brings good news.
littlegem, I'm so sorry to hear the heartbreaking journey you've been on so far. Have you done the same protocol each time? I didn't get more eggs when we increased the dose, but plenty of other women do. You just have to try it to find out unfortunately. I hope the next cycle brings the golden egg you've been waiting for.
Emerald Star, I noticed you'd been RAK'd. I received an email from BB about the RAK earlier this week which was how I knew about it... Couldn't happen to a nicer lady!
