Hi ladies congrats to those who have a BFP!!!! Mindhugs im so sorry to hear you lost your bub! I really feel for you. I lost my first pregnancy in june which was our 3rd cycle, i was only 5 weeks pregnant but god it hurt so much but strangely i pulled through really well, i cried and cried for about 3 days and then i had a strong will to get through and i did. I believe life is very unfair and that it seems the good always comes easy to alot of ppl that it shouldn't but i truly believe everything happens for a reason, like when i eventually hold mine and DH's baby we will love it and be so much more greatful because of everything we have been through. I also believe my IVF journey has given me alot, strength, maturity and i believe in my self so much more now then i ever have, you begin to realise the important things in life and how special they really are. I hope you and your DH are okay but know that its not over until you say it is, so keep fighting for your dream.xx
Im currently waiting for my 4th FET (natural cycle this time) transfer will most likely be next fri/sat but this is our last embie, im tyring acupuncture this cycle and im eating healthy and excercising. The thought of this one not working kills me, because i know it means a 6 month break to save up the money again for another STIM cycle But hopefully this will be lucky number 4! Goodluck to all ladies xx
Amy I know your frustrate but try to relax. Your cycle should still go ahead and just remeber that they always start off low and then increase as they really don't know how our bodies will react. When they make decisons when you first start the only thing they can base it on is past experiences with others in same ages groups etc. It will be fine. As for DH taking leave to be there etc unfortunately this process is something that we cannot pinpoint exactly how we want it to a certain degree we know roughly when things should happen but our bodies do different things each time. I know its the first cycle and hopefully it will be your last but based on expereince and having read what others are going through you are doing ok. Stay postive and try not to stress
To the girls injecting I think it may have more to do with hitting a vein when you bruise. I have 2 burises from blood tests taken by nurses who were struggling with my vains. I think that putting the needles in the fridge though makes it hurt a little more cause they are cold.
Porsche do you have a pickup date yet or has it happened?
How is everyone else travelling
I finally ovulated and am going in for my FET tomorrow. Managed to take the rest of the week off and work from home so here's hoping that this one is it for me.
Thanks for your advice. Its not a case of me just wanting DH home to be by my side. He has to have his sperm aspirated and they arent sure if they are going to be able to get any that is even usable. The dont want to freeze it, they want to use it fresh and he cant take anymore leave this year from work. I think its normal for everyone to go through this not just me. Dont get me wrong im sure the other woman who have been through 10 and 11 times are going through far worse than me, but it feels like ive been going through all this for nothing. Ive worked the last 11 days straight and feel lie utter crap atm.
Hi Lovely Ladies
Well Im back from work summit and weekend in Melb and trying to get back into the swing on norm and read up on all these threads LOL. Warnambool and the Great Ocean Rd was cold but very good. Kept my mind off TTC for most of it which was good apart from being asked I think about 3 times, "so do you have any kids"? That's the only trouble with things like that. Then the ball on the weekend went really well - 370 people our biggest turnout yet and a Collingwood signed Jersey went for $2600. Just one of the many auction items. So hopefully lots of money raised for kidney disease research in kids.
Mindhugs ~ So sorry hun - really sucks to put it mildly. I really admire your strength hun xo. Keep trying and I'll be for you both. You are so deserving and you will make a fantastic mother.
Tantee ~ Congrats hun, very All the best for the next 9 or so months.
Danni-girl ~ Hi and welcome. Hope your stay in here is short. Wishing you all the best.
I'll catch up with everyone over the next couple of days but for now all the best with the jabbing, sniffing, waiting etc. Babydust and FX for us all!
AFM ~ Should be coming up to O'ing this weekend I think - again going to try hard not to worry about it and just DTD as much as poss. And bring on Sept/Oct for next IVF//ICSI!!
