Just a quick question, I had to make up my cetrotide injection tonight and I had a bit of trouble and lost some. It kinda bubbled up out of the vial, has this happen to anyone. Stressing a bit that I havent got enough of a dose and may surge.

I'm stuffed my mum rang me at 230 am to tell me my brother is in hostpital, he has a bad chest infection, fluid on lungs, asthma and low oxygen levels. My mum is a bit of a drama queen, it could have waited to the morning but no she calls me a 230 and again about an hour later. I am stuffed. I went to see him and give him somethings, he is not doing too bad, down about bing in hospital and had to spend about 10 hour on a bed in the ER before he got moved to a ward.

I feel like I have been away forever. I kind of lost it there for a while. I am still feeling a little down. I have even been thinking that maybe I am getting cold feet. After all these years of TTC I suddenly had this thought that I was being stupid and I am too old to be having children. Well I was just getting over my little hissy fit when I went to the FS yesterday. It certainly didn't help with my frame of mind. It turns out he had prescribed me the wrong drug in my last cycle. He has put me on crinine after transfer for my coming cycle but had me on pregnyl for the last cycle. I questioned him as to why the change in drugs as i just wanted to understand what is happening. He then preceeds to tell me that he did not put me on pregnyl because he never does that. He double checked my records and discovered that yes i was precribed pregnyl. He could give me a reason why. So it has rocked my confidence in the whole deal now.
So yes I did get over my bit of a hissy and I am going to go ahead with my next cycle but I am not feeling confident in my FS and am trying to decide now if I will go to another FS or just plod along here. I also wonder if the mistake cost me the possibility of a BFP not just the cost $$$ of a full stim cycle that didn't work.

Wantaminime, im glad your back i think after such heart break you do loose some confidence and positivety, its only natural i think. Im on my 2ww on my last frozen cycle out of our first STIM cycle and im very nervous and really just dont know how to feel after loosing our first pregnancy last cycle. Last night i watched one born every minute on sbs and i cried so much (brought out all my emotions) and after the show i was just sitting there thinking and thinking like i do all the time now about 'will it ever happen for me'? I always believe i will but sometimes it just scares me to think 'what if'. So don't be hard on your self, give your self time to deal with the situation your in because this is the HARDEST journey that we are going through. Best wishes xxx

WAMM good to hear from you and don't feel like you are the only one who's resolve waivers from time to time. I think quite a few of us feel that way. As for the pregnal it shouldn't make a difference. I have had cycles with both pregnyl and cronine so have heaps of other women.

AFM ~ Maybebaby test came up positive for O'ing last night so we DTD - CD21. Then this morning on Maybebaby absolutely no sign of Oing, very weird and strange. Im hoping that its all over the place because we've already caught the egg. FX. If not maybe last night will do the trick. But otherwise I have IVF start to look forward to very soon, start with injections next month I guess, not long at all. YAY

Wantaminime- I'm sure its natural to get depressed, I was like that for the first half of this year. Hopefully you will start feeling better soon, try not to dwell on the last cycle, FX for the next one xx

Just a quick update, we are staying at my mum and dad's tonight. The nurses wouldnt let us go home without having someone else staying with us. I must admit, its nice having mum make me cups of tea and warm up my heat pack
Well we have some wonderful news! They found quite a bit of sperm in DH They said we have enough sperm to fertilise our eggs and enough to freeze for another 2 cycles.
I was a bit disappointed with my results. On the Ultrasound it showed that I had 5 eggs on each ovary but they only managed to get 7 out of me.
I have to give them a call tomorrow at 2pm to see how our little embies are going.
Congrats Amy! thats great news to hear you and your DH got good results dont be disappointed, considering its your first STIM cycle and your levels started off low i think you did great. I will be thinking of you and look forward to hearing how many fertilise!!! xxx
