Amy - that's great news! You must be feeling so relieved. for results tomorrow

    WAMM fx for this round

trishy - nearly there! good luck!

    Loops - I hope you've got it!

Saffy - hope the cold clears up quickly - it's horrible having to do the spray when your nose is going haywire

True - hope you're not waiting too much longer!

I've got my first bt tomorrow - only a few more morning jabs to go. I don't know about everyone else but I am really looking forward to having a sleep in! I normally have to be out of the house by 7 3 days a week so I've been doing all of my shots before then. I am not a morning person and being up so early every day is taking its toll!

    Hi girls,

Just thought i'd pop in and give you an update. I called the FS earlier on and they said that 5 of our 7 eggs were injectable and of that 2 had fertilised.

I must say im a little disappointed, but as my mum said, it only takes 1!!! Fingers crossed. I have to call tomorrow and they will let me know whether im having one transfered on Saturday or Monday.

My blood test has been scheduled for Wednesday 1 Sep, so even though I havent had transfer yet, im already in the TWW!!!

    Aim xxx

    Hey Trueblue,

You are on the same drugs as I have been on this cycle...except I didnt have the Orgalutran.

I just found the worst parts to be the severe bloating and back ache, and in the last few days I got really moodie.

    Hi Ladies
True ~ Ive been on Ovidrel and Crinone. Ovidrel was fine to inject - had no probs there, I think it gave me some small side affects e.g. sore bb's. Struggling to remember but I dont think it was too bad at all. Crinone - Im sorry but I hate with a passion mainly because it gave me bad constipation and also itchyness. But I had to have extra in the end to try and get the embryo to stick. I hope you are ok with it. Its all worth it in the end with a BFP!! xo

Oneday ~ Thanks How are you going? Not long now to wait. FX'd tight for you hun xo!

Aim ~ Your mum is totally right only takes 1! Unfortunately it happens to us all that we dont get as many to fertilise as we'd like. GL in TWW hun, FX for you! xo

AFM today ~Dont know whats going on - ive got lots of AF symptoms and my temp is low too. Very strange as my cycles are normally 34 days approx and im only at CD25. Also did saliva test again last night and it indicated i was still O'ing So we DTD again last night just in case

    Hi girls,

Just an update, transfer is tomorrow. They said that because I only had 2 embryo's they didnt want to risk letting them go to blasto and dying.

Oh my god its all happening!!!

Ok Ladies here is an update as to where DH and I are at.

We had a good talk. Well my DH is really the perfect man. I talk and he listens lol.
We have decided to have a couple of cycles off. The last cycle really knocked me around emotionally if not physically. I am still feeling teary constantly and am not myself at all. For some reason I feel so much pressure to do the next cycle straight away but the only person pressuring me is myself. I am really not mentally healthy enough to go straight into another cycle. So I am going to take each cycle as it goes and if I feel well enough I will start my next cycle. I really believe you need to be in the right frame of mind as well as physically healthy to do IVF. So I need to take a moment to forgive myself and get myself together again. I think at the most I will be defering my treatment for two cycles. I am meant to be starting in three weeks.
So to rest relax and not even think about Baby Making we booked a holiday to Bali for eight days today for november and I also booked my self into a scuba dive cousre to keep me busy. It works out I will be due to start the week after we get back so that would be perfect timing if we decided to go ahead.

So in a nut shell I will call in periodically to see how everyone is going but not too often. Hopefully most of you will have moved on when I get back
Take care and lots of luck to you all

Amy: fx'd chick hope all goes well see you in the tww soon
WAMM: I agree and I hope that the holiday makes nyou super relaxed and back to feeling like you again.
AFM: Well tonight is second puregon and on wed I start the orgalutran and then bt thursday and u/s friday and if all good trigger that night and then egg collection if not good then we just have some more jabs and another u/s so it's all happening really quick for us which is great but scarey as this is our first round and hoping and wishing so bad that we finally get our bfp.
hope everyone is going great hugs and gl
\Loops: Hope you don;t need to go ivf hope your utd keep me updated

Wantaminime, that sounds great! my DH and i are going to fiji in oct and i think its the best thing for us ladies under so much stress. It hurts me to here your so sad and upset with your self because thats how i feel too, everyone always says 'its not your fault' or 'it just wasn't the right time' but i truly do partly blame my self for loosing our baby and its such an incredibly hard thing to move on from after wanting it for so long, it really seeems like a cruel act from above. But im happy that you can find some other happiness to help you recover. If this cycle im on dosn't work i also am having 3-4 months off due to needing another STIM cycle and heaps of $ again, this kills me inside but i know that it will prob be the best thing for me to try and focus on something else in life. I wish you all the best, enjoy your holiday and i look forward to hearing from you when your ready to come back xxxx

Kass I am more tired than usual when I get to the business end of cycle but my DD is an early bird up at 6 today. I would kill for a sleep in. When is your pick up?

trueblue its funny how we get excited about AF when we need to start cycling.

Loops I have everything crossed for you that they are prego symptoms

Amy I understand your disappointment I had 5 eggs last time and one two got to day 5. But your mum is right.

Aim you transfered on my pick up day. Fx'd for a BFP

wantaminime yes I agree you need to be mentally ok. Have a lovely holiday.

Kass good luck for your epu on Monday

oneday I really hope this is the cycle for you

Hey trueblue, all clinics are a bit different in price i think but it cost me $275 for 6 months of freezing (no rebate on this). For a frozen cycle it cost me $2395, this includes everything as well as thawing the embryo. If you have a natural cycle, with my clinic they still charge you the same price even know there is no medication needed, not sure why this is i think they don't charge you for the medication or something in this kind of cycle? With theses cycles i got back $1395 roughly so out of pocket $1000. With the thawing, im not sure about a day 3 embryo because i only had day 5's and 1 day 6 embryo but with the day 5 embryo's they get it out the day before transfer and with my day 6 embryo they only got it out the same day as transfer, so it was still unthawed in the middle but could see it was progressing because the outside of the embryo where it had thawed was puffing up nicely. I hope i have helped xx

    Sorry I havn't posted for a while!

    Hey ladies,
sorry I han't posted anything lately. I've been flat out working and havn't had time!

One Day - I hope more than anything that this cycle works for you. Good luck for the 26th!!
Amy - How did transfer go? Fx'd for you.
Wantaminime - Bali sounds great. it will be good to have something to take your mind off everything and have a trip to look forward to. It definitely takes it out of mentaly and physically and sounds like you deserve a good break. It will probably be the best thing for you. Good luck.
True Blue - Sounds like exciting times ahead for you...good luck with everything.
Kass - Your pick up is tomoro! Woo Hoo! Good Luck!! Exciting.
Trishy - 6 Eggs is good! Good luck for transfer on Thurs.
Loops - I hope what you are experiencing are prgnancy symptoms! Keep us posted on what happens!
AFM - Still sniffing Synarel and have noticed a couple of side effects (headaches and hot flushes and the occassional quesy tummy)
I go for a scan on Thursday. For those of you girls that have done a down regulation cycle, did you start injections immediately after scan (presuming it was all clear)??

Thanks ladies, hope you all have a lovely week ahead and I look forward to hearing some hopefully good news from a few of you!
