Loops - to you hunny, that sucks . Nope we didn't get 18 eggs, only 6 but 18 follies were drained with lots and lots of little ones left, hence the giant big bloat.
Yogi - FX that your little one is a beautiful one. I totally hear you on wondering why our bodies don't behave normally - it is SO frustrating and heartbreaking. Hang in there chick, it only takes one.
Saffy - YAY for this cycle being more hopeful - wishing you all the luck in the world for Saturday hon
Tantee - how are you doing? Have you been able to talk to anyone about your clotting issues? Or can someone point you in the right direction at the very least? Interestingly for us, it wasn't my FS that even referred me to a haem, it was a rheumatologist but I have always felt my FS doesn't particularly like having to ask for others opinions. Hope things become a bit clearer for you soon anyway. How is your hand going?
Mia - welcome chick and hoping you are one of the lucky ones who succeed first go. Good luck to you
Me - finally starting to feel normal-ish again. Best weight loss ever, have lost 6 inches off my waistline in four days!!!! I did end up ring the clinic and yeah, ohss which they weren't at all surprised about. I can finally eat again which for me is a huge thing cos I like my food but it was just so damn uncomfortable and didn't want to stay put once I had. Gross. And I am SO sick of powerade!!! However, all is good now, thanks for all your concern. Was probably a good thing we had no embies for transfer, given how I felt last week. Next plan is a few months break before we start all over again in October. I'm having a few weeks off work right now too which is a really good thing because I need to get back into the right headspace plus in between working fulltime, I am studying parttime and have assignments coming out my ears, have a research project I need to get sorted plus a month of teaching in August. How I ever thought I would cope with all that at the same time as ivf is totally beyond me now so break is good
Mia ~ sorry I must have missed your post the other day, . Sorry for you m/c and wishing you all the very best with IVF - hope it works first time!
Mel ~ oh please excuse my ignorance LOL - that sounds horrible. Glad you are feeling better and 6 eggs is great. they are all of great quality!!
Hope everyone is well today. Thanks for the hugs - really apprciate it. Feeling pretty low and down today and frustrated with DH - probably PMS, hopefully it will pass soon, still waiting on AF but I do have spotting - so maybe starting the pill in couple of days and hoping we can get the IVF money together by mid-August.
Hey Loops, I hope your day has improved.
Yogi - I am hoping that your absence from here today means that you were out getting PUPO , have been checking for you all day
Hi Melissa - Glad to hear you are feeling better and a little more back to normal
Loops, sorry to hear you're having a rough time with DH, i hope you have been able to talk things over and hold each other that little bit closer. thinking of you xxx
thanks for your hugs Coral...good luck with your FET.
happybaby, its hard getting those D&C results finding out the sex makes it all the more real. its good to have some answers now and you can move forward. My last d&c testing showed a normal karyotype female, and although i guess it was good news that chromosomally ok, it certainly didn't make me feel any better...i just now wonder if different treatment might have saved her? (but i know i just cant go there )
Hi again Saffy...i think you should poas, get First Response brand from woolies, i think they are the better ones!
Bit reluctant posting this...but i know i am amoung BB friends who understand. I was naughty on friday night, i did a hpt and was negative so had quite a few drinks. did another on saturday and HOLY CRAP it was positive (different brand of hpt, obviously more sensitive!!) I'm going in for the bt tomorrow. I am so shocked as i was soooo certain that this cycle hadn't worked, i've had absolutely NO symptoms at all. This is now my 5th pregnancy in a row..over the last 2 & half years, with 5 cycles and 5 pregnancies...and all ending badly! so i know i have a long long way to go and many big hurdles and i honestly still dont want myself to actually believe that it may happen.
But obviously still anxious & scared & wish i could sleep the next few months away...i'm just so scared of another m/c now as we said if it happens again that would be it...so now i guess this really is the decider for us, make or break time on this long ivf journey, our path is at a crossroads now and its all up to fate, or God, or the universe or whoever/whatever is in control!!!
Yogi ~ surely there is something they can do to help it stick! Were you one of the ladies that has done the Colorado protocol? perhaps that would help. FX'd for a great BT result hun. No need to feel guilty about the drinks - I've done it too. All the disappointment we keep having - we have to try and not let it rule our lives and so sometimes we just need a good drink - positive thoughts and for you!
Coral ~ all the best today hun, GL in the TWW!
HB ~ Glad you can have another go this month and that your uterus is ok - you have a good chance hun, Must have been tough finding that stuff out but also nice to know what sex as well
Saffy ~ GL today, thinking of you with FX'd tight!
Thanks for all your support ladies re: our finances and also with DH. DH and I are doing much better - he went back to work today after 7months off with his neck fractures Really not too sure at the moment what to do re: AC, have a finance person looking into short-term loans for us for IVF in Nov but really not too sure if I wanna take out another loan. Thinking about finding out how much IUI would be and maybe trying that again too. This I think will be our last AC attempt though for quite some time as I'm so sick of the financial strain.
Hope everyone is well.
Im off to a work summit this week so wont be on here. Will be good to have a little break even though I'll kinda be working. best wishes ladies, have a great week.

Just an update from me... clinic is predicting ovulation for Wednesday so I have my ET booked in for Monday at 12:20pm (of course it had to be Monday!). I bit the bullet and told my big boss as I figured it was better he know why I wouldn't be in instead of thinking I decided to have an extended long weekend after a big Sunday Session!
Feels like forever away... I am so impatient !
Loops - So glad you and DH are in a better place but I am sad to hear that things are still up in the air with the AC and finances . It is such a burden... I am fortunate in that I can borrow money from my sister, otherwise, we couldn't afford it either.
I think the IUI could possibly be a really good option for you.... especially with the natural BFP (sorry again that it was a chem preg ) you recently had. IUI might be just what you need to get over the line and it is way, way more reasonably priced.
Good Luck at your work summit and talk to you when you get back .
Yogi Bear - Still thinking of you and crossing everything I have for a really, really sticky little emby! Hope you are travelling well and holding in there ok .
Saffy - Oh, 2 more sleeps to go... the 2ww is just torture!! You are a strong women holding out POAS'ing, he, he! I am so hopeless and can't help myself even though I vow not to do it at the beginning of every 2ww . No AF is a GOOD sign and no symptoms can definitely mean a BFP too.... I've seen plenty of ladies on here who were totally surprised by their BFP's as they had no symptoms at all! Sending you lots of !

How long to go Yogi???????????? Hang in there luv.
Great news for Monday Coral... you are on track to your BFP.
Happybaby, big hugs, it must have been hard news to hear, but also a positive in there too. Hope you are taking good care of yourself.
Hope the rest of you are all doing well.
AFM, tick tock, tick tock, just passing time really but getting a fair bit crossed off my to do list. Looking at moving next year so will try and get the house in good order for selling. Have been seeing a councellor and feeling more positive about getting started with TTC again, but still not 100% ready just yet.
Hi ladies
Loops I hope you are doing OK? I think a break from everything is a good idea, i know all too well how ttc & ivf can be all-consuming in our lives. Its always good to step back and enjoy the simple pleasures in life again. Take care & even if you are not around i will still be thinking of you and sending lots of love your way. xxx
All the best Happybaby with this cycle
And all the others about to strap up for this rollercoaster ride...good luck!
Again, Coral & KMond...praying for some sticky BFP news from you both soon
Hello Ladies,
Thank you for the warm welcome it literally brought tears to my eyes how people can be so caring of someone they have never met before. It really made my day reading your posts!
Well DH apologised and every thing is OK now. I did end up going to the baby store and seeing my new niece twice. The store was ok we my DH's cousin so I was sort of distracted by the conversation and not worrying to much about the store which was great! The first day when we saw my niece it was lovely, the next day it was harder.
I was also 3 days late for AF so I did get my hopes up and did not 1 but 4 pg tests and all negative I spoke to the FS yesterday and he advised that Gonal can lenghten the cycles... This morning well AF came to say hello so on cd6 im going to be on 150 of gonal and back for a US on cd 13.
Coral - Yes it isn't much fun having to get the OK from the cops and department of human services. Yep need to get a check from the child protection agency.... Oh the joy.. not that I have anything to be worried about but its all the waiting.
I hope everyone else is well, and thank you once again
